Laura and Ark at Barcelona Conference, October 15, 2011

Those pictures were very much appreciated kniall, especially for those of us who couldn't be there :(. Everything about the conference from the pictures, gives the impression of very gifted, talented, and professional individuals orchestrating it.

The picture with the interpreters made it look like it was a meeting of the U.N. or something. Anyways, i agree that, that picture with Ark & Laura that williamsj posted has a definite historic/timeless feel to it. It felt as if i was looking back in time (i know, crappy explanation, but its what i've got).

Anyway, i feel as if i am rambling on. Great to hear that it was a success, and everyone is getting back safely. Now it is time to rest and recharge team.

 my friends,

Wow a full house indeed! Thanks for sharing the pics, and hope that everyone arrived home safely by now!

Ditto. Fantastic event and great to meet so many new folk and catchup with some familiar faces.

Shame we didn't see you on the Sunday Ashu but hope you enjoyed your time there soaking up the sights and sounds of Barcelona.

Yey! Sounds like a lot of fun with vibrant exchange of knowledge. Congratulations - well done!
Thanks for the pics and looking forward to seeing the video. :)

It was a wonderful experince to meet Laura and Ark and the rest of the team. All the friends from the EE course in Terrasa and meeting some more knew
ones. We had a great day enjoying very much with the knowledgeable couple.

Indeed, thank you kniall for sharing these pictures giving to us, who would not be there, a kind of knowledge energy. Thank you to all the team!

Yes indeed, what a wonderful experience to be in close contact with all these wonderful people and that's only when back home my wife and I had to tell about all we've heard to our household that we had a huge realization especially about the great DNA speech; a lot to digest yet...
Thanks to all involved

I know. Well as it happens me and my brother were running a little late to rush and meet you guys but we went to the wrong place (Parallel Hotel) and you were at another one further down the road

My thanks also for the excellent conference! I remember Laura mentioning somewhere (in the wave I think) that she is not particularly fond of public speaking. From the audience point of view however she was a natural and completely at ease: the presentation was sharp, witty and difficult concepts were expressed in a very understandable manner.

Also meeting forum members on sunday was a great experience. Being a newbie and on the shy side when it comes to social situations, I was quite nervous beforehand, but it was simply amazing to see the empathic and kind way a newcomer was welcomed.
Thank you all! :)

When I hear Laura and see her speaking and saying she's not too fond of public speaking,or that she may never do it again on such a large scale,I chuckle. I see her speaking to thousands, packing both her and Arc and co.in the proverbial truck and heading on out to parts everywhere, speaking in a way she never imagined. I have to say it sounds sooo corny I wasn't going to write it but I cried when I saw the picture of her at the podium. In that moment I felt all the work that went it to bringing about this wave of knowledge on this planet, These people, the way I see it,the minds of these 2, changed the course of history in a way approachable to all of us like-minded in the WORLD!I don't think there are words and that it why I cried. Out of gratitude. And if I met them I would probably jump up and down a bit while smiling and clapping ,and feeling like family. I don't feel Einstein or Gurdjieff would evoke this in me,not because of lack of the brilliant service and accomplishments they have given, but because Laura and Ark have presented themselves to us on soo many different levels(emotional, personal, human, superluminal, too many others) that I trust who they are,and who I am because of it.When I get tired and sick and lazy I think of Laura, because she's shared her similar circumstances. It gives me courage and persistence. Its REAL to me . Everyone thanks you guys and when I read all the thanks I feel it in everyones heart just how much it means to them .And all of us.I'm grateful for the choices I made to be on the planet at this great time, and finding these people that are the closest thing to a superfamily that have the same interests and get me far more that I ever got myself.I hope I get to me some forum members if not L and A, then other members. In person is a gift, but so is everything that is given.I can't do the work alone and this" house of the wholly" gives me no excuses and renders the fear inauthentic.

Thank you very much L& A et al., for making this event possible and the fact that it was in Barcelona, is more appreciated if possible
If anyone remember or wrote down the titles of the books that Laura referred during his speech, would you please post them?

Thanks a lot

Hi Tristan, I didn't write all of them as some I was already familiar with, but from Laura I have:

"The cycle of cosmic catastrophes" by Richard Firestone, Allen West and Simon Warwick-Smith
"Origin of Life: The 5th Option" by Bryant M. Shiller

The last one was probably, for this particular conference, the most relevant. There was a lot of data from that book. There is also a thread about it here

I also took some from Ark:

"Scientific Romances" by by Charles Howard Hinton
"Man and the World" by Buckhard Heim (I think that this one can only be found in german, although not sure)
"Messengers of Deception" by Jacques Vallee
"The living Stream" by Alister Hardy (I can't remember whether I took this one from Laura or Ark's talk though)

Hope the above is of some help.

And just to reiterate what many of said: it was a fantastic conference!

ADDED: Just noticed a post by Hesper with references to some other books: http://cassiopaea.org/forum/index.php/topic,25464.msg301305.html#new

Sounds like it was a wonderful experience for those who could attend! I eagerly await the video. Thanks to everyone who made this possible! :flowers:
