celestialvisionz, I fixed the quote boxes in your message above, but also deleted the color pink from your fonts, because it was very light it was making it very difficult to read on the screen. If you want to use colored fonts, blue, purple and red are best, but old common black is fine too.

Sounds like you enjoy reading... Pick up ISOTM (In Search of the Miraculous)... This will explain what A,B,C influences are and alot more and will give you a foundation for "The Work."

Personaly I have just skimmed through the wave I stumboled upon it around 3-4 years ago and the information that I picked up from it resonated in me and I wanted in...Meaning wanted to learn the ropes and become a part of this forum so I could network and accumilate knowledge. I still have to read the wave start to finish will get to it at some point. I am interested in psychology and am starting to cross off the books in the recomended reading list first as I want to cleaning my mechine first and formost as I believe this will lead to a better life for me and others I come in contact with.

As far as "highlighted notes" for ISOTM and other esoteric books like that. I don't really think it works like that you have to read the whole book to get the whole picture an incomplete book will lead to an incomplete picture. It will take time to read and understand but will provide a good base. One thing I can tell you is there are no short cuts in the work. Looking for short cuts will just result in a longer process then if you started the process from start to finish because you will then learn and understand FULLY and its funny once you learn something new in terms of "the work" it seems like the next piece of knowledge/lesson is there for you to start to understand. Nothing to it but to do it

What I did in my last post was try and give you some new information about "the work" to see if it would spark something so that if you wanted to and are interested you will take it upon yourself to learn more, search and dig. No one here is going to give you the notes if you havent done the research believe me ive asked ;D

I really do not think it is right to say I can only have certain colors and certain size texts. Its not fair right or just. I do understand your point of view also
for the countless reasons I am sure you and possibly others have about the ''rules'' on the text sizes and colors-to me its lame people should be able to do what they want.

As a participant in a forum, you are not writing to yourself, there are other people who read your posts. It's not about "rules" as it is about making others comfortable reading what you have to say, when what you say is profitable to others.
This forum has a purpose (you have read the forum guidelines - http://cassiopaea.org/forum/index.php?topic=9553.msg69187#msg69187) and you may see that the aggrandizement of one's ego and self-importance does not figure in that purpose.

Another more creative approach is to get to know what other forum already know, and than to contribute to what may be partially known/unknown. Take your time, there is no rush.

When looking at the bigger picture you have to understand that all parts of the book are important parts because understanding one part leads to understanding of another and then you have finished the book you are done have a grasp of it and are ready for new information.

Recapitulation is an excersise...Not the same as a an esoteric book...You also should look at how the person asks for information what comes before the information does the person asking not understand a SPECIFIC concept, show partial understanding or are they just asking for information because they think it MIGHT be important. Important is also subjective depending on a persons being. Whats important for some members here is not important for other members because depending on your being it could lead to more confusion.

Everyone is hear to help but to give you notes about a book you havent read and might not be able to understand will be a wast of my time and will be doing you a disservice because I don't know whats "Important" for you and whats not all I can say is I objectively know that reading the WHOLE book is important

This isn't just a post saying I am not going to do this or do that its a post trying to tell you the best way to work for an individual as my experience and the patterns I have witnessed on the forum.

Recapitulation is an excercise that are in alot of books. Thats what I meant when I said to post on here some important issues on things.
Taking excerises, advices, or really anything that can be grasped or understood from not reading the entire book and posting it. I am going to do this also when I have the time.

As you read and understand more, it becomes much easier to sort the nonsense from the concrete and practical. The people on this forum combined have read tens of thousands of books, and all the knowledge that they have took the incredible task of gaining is distilled here. This allows us to learn at a much faster rate, through the awesome power of networking.

Finish the wave series first of all, it gets better and better! Plus it's free, so there are no excuses ;). When you progress through the recommended material and apply it, your understanding grows, and you become much better at spotting BS.

It's not that we are not open to new material here, but just that we have already been given the material that will increase our understanding fastest, and it is highly unlikely to stumble across a very good source that we have somehow missed.
