Henchman 21
Jedi Master
A quick question for you all. Maybe this applies mostly to LKJ since these are mostly her books involved.
I have a good friend who has always been into esoteric works and learning. I have about 7 or 8 of LKJs books and I was wondering how you feel about them being loaned out to friends. Now in my case, my friend works for about $9 an hour and has to pay child support on top of that, which gives him little if no money to spend on himself. I loaned him the wave vol 1 and 2, which he loves but I also know that he isn't in any position to be able to continue reading these if I don't give him the material. He and I both understand that nothing comes for free and that compensation is owed to the creators of products and knowledge and so on.
So my question is this: Is it OK that I continue to loan these books out to help him when there is no retern to you for the service? I in no way want to be ripping you of by loaning out books but at the same time I know that my friend gives back all that he can in his relationships with others even if that is his only means to do so and he would be helped better to do this with a continued supply of knowledgeable material.
Thanks for all the hard work and in no way would I want to undermine that.
