Zaev’s criminal junta going after people who support boycott of referendum | MINA Report

For the deranged criminal junta calling itself “Government” in Macedonia, publicly calling for boycott of referendum is now labeled as “Hate speech”.

Multiple people have been targeted by MoI (police) led by Proliver Spasovski, particularly after Government officials led by Kocho Tenderbeg Angjusev were humiliated in front of their guests from the US State Department on their visit to Krushevo.

It is interesting to note, many of the individuals who have received ‘hate speech’ charges also publicly speak for boycotting the referendum. This is certainly no accidental.

MINA finds at least 30 Macedonians have received an “invitation” to meet with police officials over “hate speech” at Meckin Kamen. Meanwhile, SDS journalists including SDS VP Muhamed Zekiri are calling for the murder of Macedonia’s president Gjorgje Ivanov, but their insanity is completely ignored by the public prosecution office and is protected as freedom of speech.

However, booing a criminal Government delegation is now labeled as “hate speech”!?

As Columbia professor Gorazd Rosoklija stated on August 2nd, the “hate speech” nonsense comes straight from the communist playbook to silence opponents.

These are the police invitations sent to Macedonians for booing the Governnment delegation at Meckin Kamen:

Austrian Chancellor Kurz to visit Macedonia prior to referendum

Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz, whose country holds the rotating presidency of the EU, is set to visit Macedonia on September 7, three weeks prior to scheduled name-change referendum.

Kurz is to visit Macedonia at the invitation of Prime Minister Zoran Zaev, who has also invited several other European leaders ahead of holding the referendum scheduled for September 30.

During Zaev’s last visit to Vienna at the end of June, Kurz appealed to citizens of Macedonia to vote in the referendum on the new name “North Macedonia.”

“Name agreement with Greece is decisive progress in Macedonia’s accession process towards the EU,” Kurz underlined.

According to him, achieving progress on the European perspective is one of the priorities of the Austrian EU Presidency.

“The EU is incomplete without Western Balkan countries,” Kurz said.

He told Austrian media outlets that he would like to discuss with PM Zaev on progress in the screening process.

Earlier SDSM insulted Kurz, now it’s begging for his help for the referendum

Earlier SDSM insulted Kurz, and now it is begging him to help them make the referendum on changing the constitutional name of the Republic of Macedonia successful. Austria’s Chancellor Sebastian Kurz, on the invitation of Zoran Zaev, is set to visit the country shortly before the referendum.

SDSM will try to use the visit of Austria’s Chancellor, whose country holds the rotating EU presidency, to exert pressure on political actors and to manipulate the public to achieve a census in the referendum.

Although now they are begging for his help, earlier during his visit in November 2016, insults and tasteless jokes were directed toward Kurz by prominent members of SDSM, such as Nikola Dimitrov, Edmond Ademi, Jani Makraduli, as well as by SDSM’s servants Branko Trickovski and Sase Ivanovski.

Foreign Minister Nikola Dimitrov, besides the tasteless jokes, on his Facebook profile accused Kurtz of being an autocrat, a Euroscepticist and an opponent of Macedonia’s accession into the EU. Dimitrov even wrote that a democracy exchange is being used to open a migration ramp. Now that his government asks the Austrian Chancellor to appear ahead of the referendum, the question arises as to whether the state name for the migrant ramp is being exchanged?

ND.PNG

Jani Makraduli accused him of bribes, while incumbent diaspora minister Edmond Ademi threatened that Kurz would have to apologize before returning to the state.

Jani.PNG

No insults have been saved from SDSM’s most vocal supporters Sase Politiko and journalist Branko Trickovski, who accused Sebastian Kurz of criminal association bringing migrants, and as he wrote neglecting the democratic, cultural and multicultural traditions of Austria.

Набивање.PNG

“Poor Europe with such right-wing people’s parties! Mr Kurz (Kurz in Macedonian language has similar pronunciation as penis) I’ll stick you on my dick!“, wrote Sase Ivanovski.

Branko.PNG

Branko Trickovski wrote:

Message to Austria’s Chacellor

Mr Kurz I would like to ask you to convey a message to Vienna, Berlin and Paris that you attended the central rally of a criminal association in Skopje, whose victory in the forthcoming election also brings a European wave of at least 200,000 migrants in the first half of next year, and, perhaps, another 300,000 by the end of 2017. Your favourite government, perhaps, managed to stop several hunderd unfortunates on Bogorodica (border crossing), but in the meantime managed to send 600,000 migrants through the northern border of the country that destroyed it. Party solidarity, Mr Kurz, is one thing, while neglecting the democratic, cultural and multicultural traditions of Austria is totally another thing!

The citizens were assured that SDSM at all costs is trying to push through the contract, so the slightest problem is to take back what they said. But it remains unclear whether SDSM officials will apologize to the Austrian Chancellor for the tasteless jokes and insults they were directing toward him for about two years.

Levica asks Constitutional Court to invalidate decision on referendum (Video)

The political party Levica filed a motion to the Constitutional Court for assessing the constitutionality and legality of the decision to call a referendum, requesting its annulment. The party believes that there are several reasons to stop the activities for organizing and holding the referendum.

“Since the motion requires a temporary measure, it means that we initiate an urgent action and expect the Constitutional Court to act immediately after the summer holidays, which means before the referendum. In case that doesn’t happen it is possible that a post festum will invalidate the results,” said Levica’s Dimitar Apasiev.

Apasiev says that the decision of the Parliament does not have all the necessary elements, which, according to the Law on Referendum, should have.

Levica says the referendum question is questionable, and according to Dimitar Aspasiev, it has eight possible answers, and the law provides an opportunity only for two.

Karakamisheva: This agreement is the most genocidal document for the Macedonians in recent history

Nearly two months ago, in the village of Nivitsi, Prespa, the agreement for settling the name dispute with Greece was signed, and the Government of the Republic of Macedonia has announced several times that the agreement will not disrupt the Macedonian identity and language.

Nevertheless, Professor Tanja Karakamisheva reacted sharply on Facebook, and according to her, that agreement is the most genocidal document for the Macedonians in recent history.

“Haters and all other “defenders”, as no one stops you from talking and thinking what you want about the agreement, that you have discovered America with it, let us also have the right to express our view that this agreement is the MOST GENOCIDAL DOCUMENT FOR THE MACEDONIANS IN RECENT HISTORY,” Karakamisheva wrote.

SDS University Dean: Use this chance to become nameless ‘world citizens’ | MINA Report

The dean of the University for Public Safety Nikola Dujovski is urging his students to take a chance and become nameless ‘world citizens’. Although part of his job is not to abuse and politicize his role as a Dean of a University, Dujovski continually wears his SDS hat and sends out one delusional tweet after another.

His message was overwhelmingly accepted by two people and shared by one. We can’t figure out when Dujovski underwent lobotomy, but here are some of his recent tweets.

Previously, a professor at the Medical University in Skopje urged all of her students to support the referendum.

Observance of 17 years from Karpalak attack

The 17. anniversary from the death of ten Macedonian Army (ARM) reservists in area Karpalak at Tetovo-Skopje motorway was marked at the site on Wednesday.

Delegations from the Defense Ministry, President’s Office, Government, Parliament, political parties, Prilep municipality, family members and veterans associations laid wreaths at the memorial plaque in area Karpalak.

Karpalak.jpg

On 8 August 2001, an army convoy made up of five vehicles and 120 reservists was ambushed near Karpalak. ARM reservists Nane Naumoski, Saso Kitanoski, Branko Sekuloski, Goran Minoski, Marko Despotoski, Erdovan Sabanoski, Ljube Grujoski, Darko Veljanoski, Pece Sekuloski and Vebi Rusidoski were killed in the attack.

Another pro-Macedonian daily shuts its door | MINA Report

20 years into its existence, another Macedonian daily is closing their doors. This time, it is sports newspaper “Makedonski Sport”.

Nearly a year ago, after decades of excellent journalism, Skopje based daily Dnevnik closed their doors.

makedonsi_sport.jpg

Both closures are tied with the SDSM and their blackmail of businessman Orce Kamcev. Both Dnevnik and Makedonski Sport were owned by Kamcev, however both dailies were perceived by the SDSM leadership as a ‘problem’, as they were pro-Macedonia. In fact, MINA reported nearly three years ago that US Ambassador Jess Baily viewed Dnevnik as a threat to his agenda in Macedonia. It was the largest Macedonian newspaper in the country.

The SDSM bandits were given tapes by the CIA and MI6 on private conversations Orce Kamcev had with various businessmen and his family. MINA finds, the SDSM used these tapes to blackmail Kamchev first into closing Dnevnik (one week after the coup), and now Makedonski Sport. It wouldn’t be surprising if Zaev has extorted substantial sum of money from Kamchev in addition to the closure of two excellent newspapers. The Skopje based businessman and his family are one of the wealthiest people in the country.

And so, another pro-Macedonian daily said ‘goodbye’ on their front page.

Government tries to cover up scandals with arrest of ex SDS official who called for boycott | MINA Report

ormer high ranking SDS official and GROM party leader Stevco Jakimovski was detained by police in the late hours on Tuesday.
MINA finds, he was arrested for the following reasons:

1. Jakimovski refused to join Zaev’s Government coalition despite being offered large sums of money and benefits. What angered more the Government junta is that GROM’s Chedomir Sazdovski was bribed and moved to the SDSM, but Jakimovski didn’t.

2. Jakimovski publicly stated his party has urged all of its followers to boycott the referendum.

3. In a recent interview Jakimovski called Zaev the most dangerous traitor since 1945.

Jakimovski arrest a good distraction, cover for numerous scandals, Government’s stealing millions in taxpayers money

The police action was allegedly initiated by the financial police, however was led by Lazo Velkovski, a director in the Directorate for Counter Intelligence. Velkovski is tied with an ongoing scandal where he gave a Government vehicle (Range Rover) to his teenage daughter who then used it to go on vacation in Greece with three other teenagers. This is the Government vehicle of the idiot in charge of our counter-intel agency. The Greeks could have bugged it, really do anything to the vehicle while it was vacationing across the border.

Proliver Spasovski allegedly promised Velkovski would be fired, but here he is arresting Jakimovski, no word why he was detained.

In addition, SDS VP Rada Shekerinska has given 600,000 euros of taxpayers money to a fictitious NGO in Tetovo where SDS official Zoran Shapuric has a controlling stake. Health Minister Venko Filipce has given 20m euro contract to an incognito Serbian citizen who is believed to have organized the protests in Skopje a year ago. Millions of euros in grants were given to relatives and friends of SDS officials…

Jakimovski’s arrest certainly provides an excellent distraction, but they also silenced an individual who couldn’t be bought and was publicly active to boycott the referendum.
The SDS believes they have now put fear into everyone, but instead, they have just angered a lot more people…

If only the Russians spent $5m on combating American meddling in Macedonia | MINA Report

Bulgarian media reports that the United States will spend five million dollars to fight against Russia’s “propaganda” in Macedonia. Carefully vetted newspapers and online portals will be given the $5m through CIA’s public face, the USAid.

“The funds will be directed for media literacy of the population in the former Yugoslav republic, as well as familiarization with ethical media norms and ways of their implementation, as well as support for independent journalism. The need for such a project is driven by Russia’s activities that are actively promoting propaganda by spreading false news,” says USAID on its website. The official agency’s announcement states that the money will be awarded in the form of grants.

In other words the US Government will spend $5m on vicious propaganda to convince the Macedonian public to attend an illegal referendum. If in the past the US used the term ‘promoting democracy’, this has now been replaced by the word “Russia” as an excuse for the Yanks’ continual meddling in Macedonia’s internal affairs.

It would be nice to see the Russians spend some money to combat perpetual American meddling in Macedonia. That would be a change everyone in Macedonia would welcome.

Macedonian Restaurateur to Tsipras: Turn your focus to Athens the Urine capital of Europe | MINA Report

Popular Macedonian Restaurateur Maja Platnar traveled through Greece and spend several days in Athens.
She has a scathing message to Greece’s Prime Minister Tsipras: “Instead wasting all of your energy in creating problems for Macedonia, spend some of your time on your disgusting capital Athens, it reeks of urine” wrote Platnar on her FB profile.

original-athens.jpg

The Restaurateur who owns “Bistro” in Skopje was appalled by how dirty Athens was.

“Garbage, the smell of urine, aggressive migrants on every street corner, closed shops littering the city, Tsipras, your imaginary cradle of democracy is a simple garbage pit. Of course lets not forget the foreign tourists who visit the Acropolis and are then whisked away to safety”… Platnar wrote, adding:

“Ordinary people here hate both EU and NATO. They say Greece has been a disaster zone ever since it became member of both organizations. Two million people have left the country for good. There are entire neighborhoods that are now ghost towns. They say a neighborhood near the Museum of Archeology is now empty and populated by migrants who steal anything and everything in sight. Athens, 20 years ago was in the top 10 safest cities in Europe, now… But what troubles people the most here is that no one writes about the truth about life in Athens, ‘we got no journalists’, they say.”

“This is the dump you call a country, Tsipras, but your focus is on Macedonia?” asks Platnar!

Macedonia court seizes passports of ex-mayor Jakimovski and his associates

Former mayor of Skopje’s Karpos municipality Stevco Jakimovski was charged Wednesday with abuse of office and authority.

In addition to Jakimovski, charges of abuse of office and complicity were also filed against four members of the Karpos municipality staff, the Financial Police said in a statement.

Jakimovski and his associates by misusing their position allowed two companies to acquire wrongful gains estimated at EUR 595,000, thus damaging the budget of Karpos municipality.

The suspects are believed to have misused office in thee public procurement procedures in 2012, 2013 and 2016.

Furthermore, a public prosecutor has ordered an investigation into five people.

A motion has been also filed to a court to order precautionary measures against the suspects, including an obligation to report to authorities and to hand over their passports.

Late on Tuesday, the Financial Police searched several facilities owned by the Jakimovski family in Skopje.

Speaking to the media, Jakimovski called the police operation ‘political revenge.’

Corrupt Judge who freed Zaev and convicted Gruevski paranoid 24/7 | MINA Report

One of the most corrupt Macedonian judges Dobrila Kacarska appears to have said goodbye to her sanity. Kacarska became famous for freeing hundreds of murderers and drug traffickers as part of Zaev’s election campaign promise, freeing Zaev of bribery charges and at the same time convicting Gruevski on made up chargers over a purchase of a Governmental vehicle that Zaev is constantly using.

However, things do not seem to be going well for judge Kacarska.

It appears she has become extremely paranoid, which is what happens when you know you are breaking the law day in and day out. According to the judge, everyone is trying to ‘get her’, and as a result, two dozen policemen are working for her around the clock, including between 4-6 policemen who are patrolling the floor in the Court where she has an office.

Few of the policemen fed up with the judge have successfully asked to be removed from the Court. Speaking to a Skopje based portal Svedok, one of the policeman stated “She shows up at 7am, and leaves at 9pm. During all this time we’re sitting next to her office doing nothing”.

She has also requested cameras installed on her floor. At the Court entrance, there are three different groups of policemen who vet who is going to Kacarska’s floor. In addition, her house in Karposh is patrolled by half a dozen policemen 24 hrs per day who come in shifts.

Kacarska’s level of paranoia has reached such levels, that after briefly losing her internet connection at the office, she phoned the head of the police to investigate the camera footage from her floor, Kacarska was convinced this was a sabotage.

It doesn’t end there. Kacarska has requested no policemen who has worked protecting Gruevski or Ivanov be allowed near her. Instead, only recently hired policemen with ties to the SDS can guard her.

This person is a judge…

GRECO: Macedonia implemented only six of nineteen anti-corruption recommendations

GRECO.PNG

In its second compliance report released today, GRECO (Group of States against Corruption) finds that the Republic of Macedonia made no substantial progress in implementing recommendations on preventing corruption among MPs, judges and prosecutors.

Calling the country’s performance at this stage “clearly disappointing”, the Council of Europe’s anti-corruption group urges the authorities to take more determined and focused action in respect of a number of recommendations issued four-and–a-half years ago.

More specifically, only six of the nineteen recommendations have been implemented satisfactorily. Of the remaining recommendations, eight have been partially implemented and five have not been implemented.

With respect to members of parliament, none of the improvements recommended have been implemented even partially, with the exception of what concerns the elaboration of a code of conduct for parliamentarians, which is now back on track again after the project had been stalled in the end of 2016, reads the press release.

As for judges and prosecutors, the report finds that the country has made some limited progress, pointing out the adoption of the amendments to the Law on the Judicial Council (in December 2017 and May 2018). When it comes to the system of declarations of assets and interests, the Council of Europe’s group regrets that no meaningful development has taken place to strengthen the control function and to support a more balanced and political interference-free approach of the State Commission for the Prevention of Corruption (SCPC). Furthermore, the SCPC was itself recently embroiled in serious controversies, resulting in a majority of its members resigning amid allegations of mismanagement of assets.

GRECO concludes that the current very low level of compliance with the recommendations is “globally unsatisfactory” and asks the head of delegation of Macedonia to provide a report on the country’s progress in implementing the recommendations as soon as possible, but at the latest by 30 June 2019.

Italy expels Macedonian national suspected of terrorism

Italy has expelled four persons suspected of terrorism, including a Macedonian national.

Four foreign individuals from Kosovo, 37, Macedonia, 39, France, 28, and Tunisia, 45, have been expelled because they represent a threat to the country’s security, Albanian media report.

The Macedonian national had been sentenced before for domestic violence in Siena and was under police surveillance. He belonged to a para-military organization involved in conflicts in the Balkans.

Massively: Police officers hit jackpots in Macedonia’s casinos (PHOTO)

policajci vo kazino.jpg

An unusual sight in Macedonian casinos. As never before, jackpots end up in police officers’ pockets. And just when you thought that the text belongs to our section “Dvogled”, a slap is coming from the Macedonian police. Distinguished readers, we are aware that in the last year you saw and heard, and felt on your own the inappropriate behavior of the police, but you have certainly not seen this.

Police officers sitting in a casino and playing slot machines. Something unheard of, but unfortunately, in Macedonia, far from unusual.

When the police can be a taxi service for the kids of MoI employees, when they can arrest already arrested terrorists, park illegally only because they are the police, why can’t police officers play slot machines during working hours.

This sad picture is yet another proof that the MoI is governed by structures that are unsuitable to bring order and the police get the right place in the society. Instead of bringing order and setting an example, police officers playing slot machines give the impression that in this country everyone can do what they want.

Borissov threatened Zaev with a veto from Bulgaria on EU

“Everyone should be careful what they say, it’s to their own detriment”, Prime Minister of Bulgaria, Boyko Borissov, commented on the statement of his counterpart Zoran Zaev about the Macedonian character of the Ilinden Uprising.

“If he said it intentionally, or recklessly, again it’s to his own detriment. Because when he comes to the doors of the EU, we also need to give our consent and we will recall these things. My advice to all is to be more careful,” Borissov said.

Boyko Borissov’s reaction comes after Zoran Zaev’s interview with the channel “1 TV “ on August 4, where the Macedonian Prime Minister said: “The Ilinden uprising is Macedonian, and if a citizen of Bulgaria wants to, let him celebrate it.”

Zaev apologizes to Boyko after saying Macedonian Ilinden uprising | MINA Report

The nightmare that is Zaev continues his sleep walking through his mandate, making phone calls and posting nonsense on his FB profile.

Bulgaria’s PM was upset that Zaev in a recent interview mentioned “Macedonian Ilinden uprising”, and that contradicted the agreement the Government junta signed with Sofia.

As a result, first PM Borisov phoned Zaev to complain that his statement was not received well in Bulgaria. Zaev responded by apologizing to Bulgaria on his FB profile reports Sofia daily ’24 Hrs’.

Zaev: Macedonia and Bulgaria share sincere friendship and cooperation

Macedonia and Bulgaria share sincere friendship and cooperation, says Prime Minister Zoran Zaev in a Facebook post.

“I see a public debate opening in friendly Bulgaria, including the question whether the two countries and nations are building sincere friendship and cooperation. I would like to tell all citizens they should not have any doubts over the sincerity of the friendship and cooperation between the two countries,” says PM Zaev.

He adds that both countries have jointly observed historic events for over a year.

“I am the first Macedonian Prime Minister to bow before the Goce Delcev monument in Blagoevgrad during the joint observance of the holiday, while my friend Mr. Borissov was the first Bulgarian PM to bow before the grave of Goce Delcev in Skopje. We both bowed before the monument of Tsar Samuel in Sofia, we celebrated the pan-Slavic educators Cyril and Methodius in Rome and Vatican, PM Borisov bowed before the monument of the Holocaust of Jews in Macedonia,” notes Zaev.

He says the two countries build sincere friendship that had been lost for decades.

“We have again found our friend and brother. We should not let this slip away because it is an obligation before our children. Should we forget the way in which PM Borissov and FM Zaharieva fought for Macedonia at the EU Council and the Council of Europe so that the country gets the accession talks date? They fought as they would for their own country. Should we pretend to be blind and deaf to Bulgaria’s efforts in helping Macedonia get the NATO membership invitation? Europe witnessed Bulgaria’s support to Macedonia and the Western Balkans on their EU path. We will never forget this friendship through action. We are grateful and respect this,” underlines PM Zaev.

Those words are "Truth to Power"!

The statements above truthfully reflect what Macedonia would turn into - if it joins the EU and NATO. Russia has warned about the same.

Thanks SToRmR1dR  - for keeping us closely informed with what is going on in Macedonia and the neighboring States! I have been following your Posts. I rarely come across an article on the Political side of Macedonia but when I do - I will notice - you already Posted the information "a day or two" before. So, keep up the good work!

13.08.2018 - Macedonia on Edge Amid Fears of Manipulation in Looming EU, NATO Membership Vote
Macedonia on Edge Amid Fears of Manipulation in Looming EU, NATO Membership Vote

Macedonians will go to the polls next month to determine whether or not to change their country's name to the "Republic of North Macedonia" in accordance with a long-standing Greek demand; the name change is expected to remove the main roadblock to Skopje's prospective membership to the European Union and NATO.

A recent poll by the Macedonian Center for International Cooperation (MCIC) found that a plurality of Macedonians seem to be in favor
of joining the Western economic and security blocs in exchange for the name change. (Note: It would be a stupid move!)

Asked, "Are you in favor of EU and NATO membership, by accepting the Agreement between the Republic of Macedonia and the Republic of Greece," 41.5 percent of respondents said they were in favor, with 35.1 percent saying they were opposed, 12.4 percent saying they would boycott the vote, 9.2 percent saying they have yet to make up their minds, and 1.9 percent declining to answer.

A total of 66.4 percent of respondents said they were going to take part in the vote, with 19.8 percent saying would boycott and 11.9 percent yet make up their minds.

Skopje-based political observer Aleksandar Mitevski says these survey results should be taken with a grain of salt, given that the MCIS is affiliated with Prime Minister Zoran Zaev and his ruling Social Democratic Union of Macedonia, which has pushed for the country's entry into Western institutions in exchange for the name change.

Our government recently commissioned another public opinion survey which found that almost 70 percent of Macedonians opposed the idea of joining both EU and NATO if it came at the cost of changing the name of the state, and voiced their intention to boycott the referendum," Mitevski told Sputnik Serbia.

According to the political scientist, in Bitola, Macedonia's second largest city, just 22 percent of respondents said that they planned to vote in the referendum, with ex-foreign minister and opposition VMRO-DPME politician Antonio Milososki's Facebook post on the subject sparking media attention and debate.

"[The government] hid the results of that research for a month, and I can only interpret the [MCIC] poll as a statement about an intention to manipulate the results of the referendum," Mitevski warned.

The political observer also pointed to other recent polls, which showed an expected turnout ranging from 28-33 percent, with this data running at odds with the MCIC's figures and the required 70 percent turnout required for the referendum's results to receive official recognition.

Late last month, Macedonian web portal MKD published the results of its own poll, conducted by the Market Vision public opinion research firm, finding that 47.9 percent of respondents favored renaming the country to join Western institutions, with 52.1 percent marking their opposition. Furthermore, by ethnicity, the poll found that 71.7 percent of ethnic Macedonians were opposed,
with 94.7 percent of ethnic Albanians in favor. Ethnic Albanians are thought to make up some 25 percent of Macedonia's population according to the latest census from 2002.

Another poll, organized by the United Macedonian Diaspora organization, found that some 90 percent of respondents were opposed to the name change.

According to Mitevski, just 14-15 percent of Macedonian Albanians and no more than 20 percent of ethnic Macedonians actually favor changing the country's name. "In Macedonia, apart from the parties of the ruling coalition, including the Social Democratic Union and the Democratic Union for Integration [the largest party representing the Albanian minority], there are no other political forces who support this referendum. Those two parties will not be able to ensure the 70 percent turnout necessary for the referendum to be recognized," the analyst insisted. "This," he said, "will be possible only if they falsify the results in the same way as they falsified the results of this MCIC poll."

For his part, former Macedonian foreign minister Denko Maleski said that he supports the referendum, having told Sputnik Serbia that the vote was a "good chance" to break a "vicious circle along which we have been moving along for 30 years, without finding a compromise with Greece."

"Today, there is a unique international situation, which should be taken advantage of, given the willingness of both governments, to escape the bonds of nationalism. For this reason, boycotting the referendum is not a good idea," Maleski argued.

Macedonians will go to the polls on September 30. Macedonia and Greece have been engaged in a dispute regarding the Balkan country's name since it declared independence from Yugoslavia in 1991, with Athens claiming the existing name implies territorial claims against Greek Macedonia, and vowing to block Macedonia's access into the EU and NATO until it changes its name.

In June, Athens announced that an agreement had been reached with Skopje to rename the country from the "Republic of Macedonia" to the "Republic of North Macedonia." The agreement also involves the removal of references to the "Macedonian people" in Macedonia's Constitution, and the removal of the Vergina Sun, which appeared on the country's flag before 1995, from state symbols.

Macedonia's Parliament ratified the agreement last month, with the ruling coalition government announcing a referendum. The VMRO-DPMNE, Macedonia's chief opposition party, has threatened to boycott the referendum, and considers the government's deal with Athens "treasonous."

Zaev: Agreements with Bulgaria and Greece are continuation of Ohrid Framework Agreement

Participants in the Road to Brussels via Ohrid debate, marking the 17th anniversary since the signing of the Ohrid Framework Agreement, concurred that the significance of the accord lies in the fact that it has set an example of conflict settlement in the region and beyond, that it has laid the foundation for a democratic and multi-ethnic society and expressed their hopes that the citizens in the Sept. 30 referendum will choose the European path for their country.

Government representatives, Parliament officials, diplomats and mayors attended the panel on Monday, organized by the Secretariat for European Affairs.

Speaking at the panel, Prime Minister Zoran Zaev paid his respects to the politicians who 17 years ago had managed to conclude a deal after long and exhausting negotiations and to put an end to the 2001 conflict.

According to him, the Ohrid Framework Agreement is a guarantee that violence won’t be used as a mechanism to fulfill political goals, or any other goals, and a foundation to establish cohabitation between the different ethnic communities living in the country.

“Today, we are building Macedonia as one society and one family for all,” Zaev stated adding that in one single year after the formation of a new government, Macedonia from an isolated country has become open towards the neighbors and has heightened its efforts to become part of the EU and NATO.

In this context, he mentioned the friendship treaty, signed by Macedonia and Bulgaria a year ago, and the historic deal settling the name dispute with Greece, noting it guaranteed the Macedonian identity.

“As Macedonia was saved from a crisis by the courage of our citizens and our politicians 17 years ago, today we are being given the chance to be courageous and to make the right decision in order to secure our future and the future of our children. I know that on Sept. 30 with our heads held high we will embark on a journey towards the bright future of Macedonia. I am confident that we will choose a European Macedonia,” stressed PM Zaev.

Ahmeti: We will engage all stakeholders for successful referendum

Participants in the Road to Brussels via Ohrid debate, marking the 17th anniversary since the signing of the Ohrid Framework Agreement, concurred that the significance of the accord lies in the fact that it has set an example of conflict settlement in the region and beyond, that it has laid the foundation for a democratic and multi-ethnic society and expressed their hopes that the citizens in the Sept. 30 referendum will choose the European path for their country.

Government representatives, Parliament officials, diplomats and mayors attended the panel on Monday, organized by the Secretariat for European Affairs.

In the past, even the most optimistic people couldn’t have imagined that Macedonia after 17 years will be an example of how conflicts can be solved through dialogue, said DUI leader Ali Ahmeti speaking at the panel.

NATO, he stated, had played a major role in preventing the conflict in Macedonia from escalating.

The citizens should be aware that the success of the upcoming referendum is in fact their success, Ahmeti noted. “We will engage all stakeholders in order to mobilize and inform every citizen that in fact the upcoming referendum builds the future. This victory is really the victory of peace and stability,” the party leader told the debate.

The Ohrid Framework Agreement, which ended the 2001 conflict in Macedonia, was signed in Skopje on 13 August 2001. Then President Boris Trajkovski, former Prime Minister and VMRO-DPMNE leader Ljubco Georgievski, as well as SDSM, DPA and PDP leaders, Branko Crvenkovski, Arben Xhaferi and Imer Imeri respectively, signed the treaty.

MHRMI calls for immediate arrest of illegitimate Macedonian PM Zoran Zaev | MINA Report

zaevko.jpg

Macedonian Human Rights Movement International has launched its latest Our Name Is Macedonia campaign, demanding the immediate arrest of illegitimate, US-installed Macedonian “Prime Minister” Zoran Zaev and others, for violating Macedonia’s Constitution, contravening Parliamentary rules, and breaking Macedonian law. All of this in his treasonous attempts at changing the Republic of Macedonia’s name to “North Macedonia” and, despite his denials, the identity of all Macedonians – in the Republic of Macedonia, neighbouring countries and throughout the world – to “Northern Macedonian”.

Billboards, flyers and posters have gone up (see above) – and will continue to go up – throughout the Republic of Macedonia until Zaev et al face justice and any name change or negotiation of Macedonia’s name has permanently ended.

MHRMI calls on all Macedonians to:

• join our demand for the immediate arrest of Zoran Zaev and other traitorous government officials;
• demand the immediate and unconditional release of all political prisoners incarcerated by Zaev;
• support the Boycott Referendum campaign (and to prevent the illegal referendum from occurring);
• demand an end to mass Western foreign interference aimed at forcing a name change, such as the “Now or Never” threats by US and EU officials;
• demand that the international community respect the Republic of Macedonia’s basic right to self-determination and to respect international law and human rights conventions designed to protect it;
• demand that the international media stop portraying the cultural genocide of Macedonians as a “victory” and to support Macedonia and Macedonians as they do any other ethnic group.

MHRMI specifically calls on President Ivanov, using his power as head of state, to:

• order the immediate arrest of Zoran Zaev, Nikola Dimitrov, Talat Xhaferi, and others who have broken the law and committed treason, despite Zaev’s signed agreement with President Ivanov “assuring” his defence of Macedonia;
• end any discussion on changing Macedonia’s name because it is in clear violation of Macedonia’s constitution and Macedonian law;
• immediately withdraw from the 1995 Interim Accord because, not only is it anti-Macedonian, it is null and void because Greece violated its terms in 2008;
• demand that the United Nations immediately stop violating its own rules and accept the Republic of Macedonia under its proper name;
• call on other countries to demand an end to the undemocratic and racist name change/negotiations and use their power, including Turkey’s veto power in NATO and Russia’s veto power in the UN, to preemptively stop any discussion about changing Macedonia’s name.

Use the hashtags #ArrestZaev, #OurNameIsMacedonia and #Boycott in English and #АпсетеГоЗаев, #НашетоИмеЕМакедонија and #Бојкотирам/#Bojkotiram in Macedonian.

Macedonians cannot allow treason, foreign interventionism and illegal acts to prevail. Our Name Is Macedonia. Defend it and the world will defend you.

Stars and Stripes: US Army sees Krivolak as training area for much bigger exercises

More than 1,000 soldiers from US Army Europe and from the Army of the Republic of Macedonia (ARM) will hold exercise “Decisive Strike 2019” at Krivolak training area, US military newspaper Stars and Stripes reports.

About 200 soldiers from the US peacekeeping force in Kosovo are firing rifles, grenade launchers and missiles on the move for 20 days in Macedonia as a test run for much bigger exercises. The sprawling Krivolak training area south of the Macedonian capital of Skopje is giving soldiers from 3rd Squadron, 61st Cavalry Regiment a chance to sharpen their weapon skills during maneuvers that include firing anti-tank missiles from moving Humvees.

A dozen National Guard troops from the 126th Aviation Regiment in Massachusetts also are taking part, with Black Hawk door gunners strafing ground targets with their .50-caliber machine guns.

The drills, which finish Aug. 20, aim to demonstrate that the site is suitable for larger exercises, such as one planned next year that will have about 1,000 soldiers from the U.S. and Macedonia, military officials said.

This roughly 200-square-mile site offers similar training capabilities as Grafenwoehr, Germany, but is within a three-hour drive of Kosovo, which has no place for soldiers to do weapons training at this level, officials said, Stars and Stripes reports. The training area’s proximity to Kosovo would permit troops to return quickly to their posts if an emergency arose, said Col. Nick Ducich, commander of the Multi-National Battle Group in charge of security in eastern Kosovo.

Built 70 years ago, the training site was used by the Yugoslavian military for high-caliber weapon training and aerial assault drills, making it perfect for large allied exercises, said Patrick Enriquez, deputy chief for the Office of Defense Cooperation at the US Embassy in Skopje.

“The US Army is always looking for places to train,” Enriquez said. “We’ve been marketing Krivolak as an alternative, if not a solution.”

Demands for Vucic’s arrest ‘a call for coup’, says Minister Stefanovic

The opposition demanding that President Aleksandar Vucic should be arrested is a ‘call for coup’, said Serbian Interior Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic.

“I don’t want to interfere in the work of public prosecutors or in the work of courts. But, it is evident that this is an offence and a call to undermine the constitutional order and laws. If they don’t recognize such a crime here, I don’t know where they could find it,” Stefanovic told TV Pink.

He accused the leaders of the joined opposition coalition, Alliance for Serbia, of being ‘an octopus that want to reclaim power’ without having the support of the people.

The reaction of the Serbian Minister and Deputy Premier comes after a tweet was posted by the opposition leader, Bosko Obradovic, calling the army and the police to arrest Vucic for his statement that he was in favor of ‘delimitation with the Albanians in Kosovo.’

Russia to ban imports of fruit from Macedonia as of August 15

Russia plans to impose a temporary import ban on some fruit from Serbia and Macedonia from Aug. 15 over safety concerns, Russia’s food safety regulator said on Friday.

The regulator said it had found the Monilinia fructicola fungus in Serbian peaches and apricots imported since July 13. It said it had also found the same fungus in batches of fruit from Macedonia, Reuters reported.

This summer, Macedonia imported three million kilograms of peaches in Russia, which returned 120,000 kg on suspicion of being affected.

According to information published on the website of Russia’s Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision, a temporary import ban on some fruit from Macedonia will enter into force on August 15. A decision on future steps will be made after a probe is concluded by the two relevant bodies in Russia and Macedonia, the Russian embassy in Skopje tells MIA.

Groups of illegal migrants from Middle East arrive in Albania

Groups of illegal migrants from the Middle East, who cross the green belt on the border with Greece, are frequently entering Albanian territory.

The regional police directorate in Korca confirms that they discover groups of migrants, including women and children, almost every day.

“Groups of migrants are frequently entering the Albanian territory through the green belt from Greece. On average, the groups are consisted of at least twenty people, including women and children. Yesterday, we discovered a group of 25 people, including children and elderly people. Syrians, Iraqis and Palestinians are among the illegal migrants. The previous day, we also discovered a group of 20 illegal migrants, the regional police directorate said in press release.

After migrants gave statements to the Border and Migration Office, they were transported to the Babru center near Tirana.

As of mid of June the Albanian border police have taken additional measures along the border with Greece to stop the illegal migrants whose number has increased significantly.

Bulgaria’s President seeks annex agreement with Macedonia

Bulgaria’s President Rumen Radev believes that Macedonian Prime Minister Zoran Zaev did not apologize to the neighboring country after the statement that the Ilinden uprising was Macedonian, which caused reactions from other senior officials of Bulgaria.

Radev thinks that Zaev did not apologize explicitly, except that he expressed regrets.

“Is that apology enough?” Did you hear an apology? I did not. Facebook is not an apology. Zaev said he made a mistake but did not correct the words. For me, it is not an explanation to say that the Bulgarian government does not react as it should react. In my opinion, it is unacceptable that the Euro-Atlantic perspective of Macedonia is put before Bulgarian history, identity and sovereignty. Bulgaria’s long-term interests cannot be sacrificed to political marketing,” Radev said.

The Bulgarian president expects his country to implement measures to sanction Macedonia, stressing that Bulgaria has all the bases for concluding an annex agreement on changing relations with Macedonia.

GRECO adviser: Findings to be taken into account by EC in progress report

Findings of the report of the Group of States against Corruption (GRECO) will be taken into account by the European Commission in the progress report on Macedonia and the next deadline for the country to report back to GRECO about progress is 30 June 2019, said Christophe Speckbacher, legal adviser in the GRECO Secretariat.

“Only six recommendations have been implemented to date, meaning that 13 still need to be addressed. Clearly, this is globally unsatisfactory. The next deadline for the country to report back to GRECO about progress is 30 June 2019. This is less than 12 months from now on and time will pass rapidly,” Speckbacher told MIA.

According to him, the highest immediate priority not just for the government, because some of the reforms must be done by the parliament itself in respect of its own members, is to increase the pace of reforms.

What is also needed, Speckbacher noted, is a change of attitude.

“More generally, what is also needed is a change of attitude towards legislation. The former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia benefits from a lot of support from European partner countries and European and international organisations and it has already proven its ability to put in place a good legal framework. However, the laws, regulations and rules of conduct will remain just a ‘paper tiger’ without an effective implementation and enforcement. As GRECO has also pointed out, much remains to be done to educate MPs, judges and prosecutors about integrity and conflicts of interest, to ensure a better implementation of the legal framework and to improve the public image of these categories of officials, and thus the trust of citizens in the legislative branch of power and the justice system,” the GRECO official said.

Speckbacher mentioned that the GRECO findings would be taken into account by the European Commission in the country’s progress report in 2019, which was also the case in 2018.

Asked why Macedonia’s efforts in tackling corruption were ‘disappointing’, the GRECO adviser said it was partly due to the protracted political crisis in the country and noted that the government was not the only one to blame.

“It should also be pointed out that the recommendations involve a variety of actors responsible for the implementation of reforms including the parliament, judicial self-governing bodies, the prosecutor general’s office in addition to the Government. This requires a high degree of coordination,” he elaborated.

The report covers the period from December 2016 to June 2018, according to Speckbacher.

Corruption alongside unemployment and poverty are pointed out as the most important problem Macedonia is facing, according to recent opinion polls, he said.

“Several other post-communist countries experience a similar phenomenon. This is certainly not an isolated case. As in most other European countries surveyed in recent years (for instance for the European Commission’s Euro barometer), Parliaments and political parties top the list of least trusted institutions.”

“However, by contrast to many European countries in which the judiciary enjoys higher levels of trust, the Macedonian justice system shares similar high levels of distrust as the parliament. This is quite problematic from the perspective of the rule of law,” noted Speckbacher.

Released last week, the GRECO report on Macedonia’s progress in addressing corruption noted that only six recommendations out of 19 were implemented.

Alpha unit head drove official vehicle for weekend in Ohrid

On the day the government was supposed to dismiss Lazo Velkovski, Director of the Public Security Bureau, whose daughter went on vacation to Greece with an official vehicle of the Ministry of Interior, the MOI was shook by another similar scandal. Primislav Dimovski, the commander of the unit Alpha, stayed in Ohrid for the weekend with an official vehicle Shkoda, where he supposedly was invited to attend a wedding of his friend’s daughter in one of the catering complexes by the lake, Nezavisen writes.

The Ministry of Interior asked for the question to be sent via e-mail, but up to the closing of this issue, we did not receive an answer.. We also contacted Dimovski, but he said that he is banned from talking to reporters without obtaining permission from his superiors. His relatives confirmed that he really was in Ohrid, but they denied that he attended a wedding, and that the nature of his visit was private. On the other hand, according to them, Dimovski was one of a dozen chiefs of the Ministry of Interior who had the authority to travel with an official vehicle whenever they wanted (24 hours a day) and wherever they wanted throughout Macedonia.

However, officials in the Ministry of Interior confirm that he is allowed to go wherever he wants, but he does not have the authority to work outside Skopje, unless he receives a special order from his superiors – in this case, the head of the Skopje police Toni Jakimovski, therefore his trip to Ohrid is questionable. Namely, four years ago, the Alpha unit was granted the status of a separate unit for first response and intervention within the Sector for Internal Affairs Skopje, which is why the authorizations are valid exclusively on the territory of the City of Skopje.

Primislav Dimovski is a former prominent boxer, a multiple state champion, who was appointed president of the Boxing Federation of Macedonia several months ago. He was appointed at the helm of the Alpha unit whenever the Ministry of Internal Affairs was headed by Oliver Spasovski and even when he was a technical minister in the government of VMRO-DPMNE. It was succeeded by Ivica Antevski-Puki, whose voice is heard in one of the wiretapped conversations that were published by then-President of SDSM, Zoran Zaev. The police unit Alpha is in charge of interventions in urban areas for the prevention of severe forms of crime.

Just ten days ago a police Jeep vehicle of the Ministry of Interior was photographed at a Greek pay toll and in front of the Greek camp Evridiki. After the internal investigation he conducted, Interior Minister Oliver Spasovski determined that the procedure for a business trip was not respected and, despite the warrant, there wasn’t a signed decision for a business trip. Because of this, Spasovski submitted a proposal to the Government for Lazo Velkovski’s dismissal, which is expected to be accepted at today’s session.

“We still do not have any suggestions for his successor, we have not considered it because we never thought that such a mistake could happen. We will need time to find the right solution. He is one of my first associates, I believe he will continue to be a significant partner in the Ministry of Interior because he is important due to his professional experience. Standing before the threats that were directed to him and his family from the past, he made the mistake,” said Prime Minister Zaev.

He denied that his dismissal was the result of intra-party calculations within SDSM. He assessed Velkovski as a professional member of the SDSM, who has always been a binding element in the party and added that his dismissal is an act of taking responsibility – something that the citizens of the country expect from the holders of public office.

Regarding whether Velkovski’s dismissal and the non-acceptance of the resignation of Deputy Prime Minister in charge of economic affairs Koco Angjusev represent double standards, Zaev said that in the case of Velkovski, an error was established and confirmed.

“In the case of grants from the Fund for Innovation and Technology Development, everyone according to the law in the Republic of Macedonia has the right to apply. There is no mistake in accordance with the law. The law applies equally to all. We have flagrant examples where we have already proven it. If anyone goes against the law, he / she should be held accountable. If someone makes mistakes from a technical point of view, he / she should take responsibility,” Zaev said.

PM Zaev calls on Macedonian expats to vote in name referendum

Prime Minister Zoran Zaev met Wednesday with representatives of the Macedonian diaspora in Italy, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Germany, Slovenia, Croatia and the United States.

In the meeting, support was extended for the government policies bringing Macedonia closer to NATO and EU membership, the government’s press service said.

The interlocutors discussed several current issues, including the importance of the upcoming name referendum and the need for a more active role of all citizens, including expats, in order the referendum to be successful because it ‘opens Macedonia’s perspectives and chances of better living standards of all citizens.’

For Macedonia, Zaev said, NATO and the EU amounts to better economy, stability and security. He noted that he expected the referendum to be successful.

“Majority of citizens in Macedonia have already said that they champion changes, perspectives instead of isolation, well-being instead of poverty, reforms and democracy that lead to quality living standards and safe future of the country of present and future generations. I am confident that the referendum will verify the decision for a Euro-Atlantic future of Macedonia, which will introduce also a European life in Macedonia and stability and security,” stated PM Zaev.

He urged them to vote in the upcoming referendum and being representatives of the Macedonian diaspora to play an important role in this historic moment of the progress of Macedonia.

Zaev and the expats discussed the benefits from reform processes in the country, from establishing favorable relations with the neighbors and from the Euro-Atlantic integration process.

True patriots are those that will secure the future of the country. It is an achievement for our children, for present generations. It is a fulfillment of the centuries-long aspiration of our predecessors to solidify the identity of the citizens in Macedonia, the Macedonian language and the establishment of Macedonia as a state in the global family of states once and for all,” stressed PM Zaev.

He thanked the expats for their willingness to help the country fulfill its strategic goals, NATO and EU accession, and achieve economic prosperity.

Furthermore, the ‘sincere’ policies of the government towards the diaspora were welcomed, designed to create conditions for investing in their homeland, stated the press release.

Zaev meets with handful Albanians, lies to media about meeting with Macedonian diaspora | MINA Report

Macedonia’s illegitimate PM Zoran Zaev and his minister without portfolio Agron Ademi whose focus is on the diaspora lied to the media earlier today that he had met with the Macedonian diaspora overseas.

If previously Ademi lied about “huge inerest” from the Macedonian diaspora to vote in the referendum, which translates to SDS & DUI will be stuffing ballot boxes overseas, today Zaev and Ademi lied about having constructive meetings with the Macedonian diaspora.

Multiple organizations of the Macedonian diaspora in North America, Europe and Australia have denied any sort of meeting with Zaev, in fact most stated they would never meet with Zaev in the first place. Not to mentioned the Macedonians in North America seeking immediate arrest of Zaev, Xhaferi and Dimitrov.

This begs the question, who did Zaev meet?

According to our sources, Zaev met with 6-8 Albanians recruited by DUI for the ‘meeting’. This is the “diaspora” he met with.
In reality, Zaev would need a huge security escort for him to venture out among Macedonians overseas. Similarly to his outing in London when the local police got involved to provide additional security for the traitor.

The Macedonian diaspora has protested Zaev’s governing for nearly two years, in particular the treasonous agreements with Bulgaria and Greece.

Zaev did not meet with the Macedonian diaspora, this is simply not possible for him and his criminal junta.

Zaev’s junta strikes again: TV Analyst who opposes Referendum gets car trashed | MINA Report

TV Analyst has Ljupco Ristovski has experience getting his car trashed when the SDS junta is in power.

Due to his frequent TV appearances where he discusses the high treason by the SDS in addition to the illegal referendum, his vehicle suffered the consequences and was trashed in front of his home. As he puts it, this is the second time his car is trashed with the SDS in power. First time was in 1994 when Ristovski was an MP candidate for the Democratic Party. Below is his FB post…

Referendum campaign to be financed by redirected funds and budget savings

At an upcoming session, the government will adopt a concrete plan and program on how the whole referendum campaign will be run, including the amount of the budget of the whole process, a government spokesman said Wednesday.

Throughout the campaign, the government will be transparent, pledged spokesman Muamet Hoxha.

“The government has tasked all ministries and other state bodies within three days to send an information to the Ministry of Finance about the funds they have at their disposal and whether they can be redirected for the referendum campaign,” he told a news conference.

In preparing the plan and program for the referendum campaign, we will abide by the Law on Referendum, Hoxha said.

According to him, an ‘informative’ campaign will be conducted in order to explain the benefits of the name agreement to the public.

“The campaign will inform the citizens that a successful referendum paves the way for Macedonia to join NATO and the EU, it will elaborate the name deal with Greece and the benefits from it. All finances used to fund the campaign will be publicly revealed,” stated Hoxha.

So far, 100 euros were spent for public ads on the Facebook page of PM Zoran Zaev as part of the referendum campaign, the spokesman said.

On Tuesday, the government reached a decision to run a campaign of public interest for the September 30 referendum with the question being: Are you in favor of NATO and EU membership by accepting the name deal between Macedonia and Greece?

For Macedonia, Zaev said, NATO and the EU amounts to better economy, stability and security. He noted that he expected the referendum to be successful.

Zaev is nothing more than a used car salesmen - a paid mouth piece - to push NATO's and the EU's interests!

I pray, the ballots boxes won't be tampered with in this coming referendum and the real citizen's in Macedonia vote NATO/EU - down!

Zaev needs to be kicked out of the Country as a traitor.

Kulavkova: Is the referendum held so that responsibility is transferred to the people?

Academician Katica Kulavkova asked a legitimate question on her Twitter account. She asks why there is a referendum on changing the name when the Prespa Agreement does not depend on it. It cannot influence something that is already in force, Kulavkova emphasizes. Moreover, she says that it is probably a matter of the government running away from responsibility, that is, transferring responsibility and alibi as well as a test for the Macedonians.

PM Zaev meets SEC members ahead of name referendum

The referendum is an obligation of national importance. All institutions are charged with cooperating with the State Election Commission (SEC). The government is also at a disposal, in a principled manner, in accordance with its legal authorizations, to make sure the legal needs of the SEC are met. And the government will make it happen, Prime Minister Zoran Zaev said Friday at a meeting with State Election Commission members.

Everyone has the responsibility to perform their duties professionally, Zaev stated, according to a press release.

“I believe that each one of us is aware of the professional and human responsibility for this important process. We are all obliged to do our job professionally,” the PM stressed.

The SEC members, including its president Oliver Derkovski, said the commission worked in a professional and economical manner pledging it would continue to function in similar way.

The importance of a professional and transparent functioning of the State Election Commission prior to and on the day of the name referendum was underscored in order all citizens and political stakeholders to have confidence in the process, the government said in the press release.

The interlocutors also discussed the media campaign for the referendum, the necessity of observing legal provisions related to the campaign and the funds the Parliament needed to conduct the campaign.

Dimitrov: We will be Republic of North Macedonia, we will be what we are!

Boycotting is running away from the responsibility to decide on an issue that my future and the future of my country depend on, Foreign Minister Nikola Dimitrov said in an interview with ’24 News’ TV. “To boycott own future, own state, our Macedonia is an act of cowardice,” he said.

“Come out and vote, even if you vote against, but not voting is running away from personal and social responsibility. I have been in diplomacy since 1996. I’ve had it enough of FYROM. What does that mean? We cannot enter into contracts with other countries. We have to do it with a letter. It is time to overcome the name dispute with Greece, to become friends with our neighbors,” he said.

Dimitrov assured that the agreement strengthens the statehood of Macedonia and protects the Macedonian national identity.

We will be the Republic of North Macedonia. We will be what we are. We will be Macedonians, as an ethnic nation, Macedonian people. We succeeded the other party to accept our right to self-determination. We put an end to the dilemmas whether we are accepted and disputed, the minister said.

Scandal at ARM Day observance: Sekerinska didn’t invite any of the former defense ministers

The central ceremony to mark Macedonian Army (ARM) Day-August 18 will be held Friday at plateau in front of the Ministry of Defence’s building where country’s President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Gjorge Ivanov and Defence Minister Radmila Sekerinska are to deliver addresses.

Ivanov will decorate the 1st Mechanized Infantry Battalion from 1st Mechanized Infantry Brigade and Signal Battalion with the Order of Military Merit, and decrees for promotion will be read out, plaques, badges, certificates of appreciation will also be presented to associates and organisations with which the MoD and the ARM cooperate.

DM Radmila Sekerinska and Chief of ARM General Staff, Lt. Gen. Metodija Velickovski invited Parliament Speaker Talat Xhaferi, PM Zoran Zaev, ministers, deputies, former chiefs of staff, retired ARM generals, ambassadors and military attachés accredited in Macedonia to attend the event, but not the former defense ministers. Defense Minister Radmila Sekerinska did not send invitations to her predecessors.

Earlier today, a wreath laying ceremony will take place in the veterans’ cemetery, on the tombs of deceased president Boris Trajkovski, former president Kiro Gligorov and general Mihajlo Apostolski.

On occasion of ARM Day, an Army artillery unit is to perform Friday at 7pm a honorary 10-gun salute in Skopje-based Ilinden barracks.

American soldiers use depleted uranium during exercise in Macedonia | MINA Report

50 CAL DU.jpg

Macedonia’s waffle house waitress and SDSM VP Radmila Sekerinska took a ride in a US army vehicle during exercises in Krivolak’s training center. Why is the US army having exercises in Krivolak is a separate topic, however during a photo-op in the army vehicle, one can spot depleted uranium ammunition.

The US Army use of depleted uranium in Kosovo has resulted in over 12,000 cancer cases, huge number of children being born with deformities… so why not bring the same to Macedonia.

The US uses ammunitions manufactured from depleted uranium because, when fused with metal alloys, they are considered the most effective warhead for penetrating enemy tanks. Also, because depleted uranium is twice as dense as lead.
However, depleted uranium ammo is highly radioactive and is quite dangerous to the soldiers who use it.

Inhaling depleted uranium causes kidney failure and cancer. Why is the US army using depleted uranium in Macedonia for a training exercise… perhaps Sekerinska and Zaev can answer.

Depleted uranium.png

MoD: No use of depleted uranium at Krivolak training area

Ammunition containing depleted uranium is not used at Kriviolak military training area. Photos published by some news websites are typical fake news and their intention is to spread panic and to cause public distrust in NATO, says the Ministry of Defense (MoD).

MoD experts emphasize that ammunition with depleted uranium has never been used so far at the training site. Soldiers at a recent exercise held alongside the US armed forces used ammunition for 12.7 mm caliber machine guns. It is a lead cartridge with a copper casing. Because of the color, copper is pointed out to spin news that the ammunition has depleted uranium, according to the MoD. The smallest ammunition caliber with depleted uranium is 30 mm, it adds.

The Defense Ministry and the Macedonian Army have prepared a project to protect the environment of the Krivolak training area and they fully abide by it in order to protect the region from contamination, according to MoD.

Writing in a Facebook post yesterday, Defense Minister Radmila Sekerinska denied speculation that ammunition with depleted uranium had been used at Krivolak.

“Baseless lies serve no one. The citizens should not fall victim to fake news ahead of the upcoming referendum and the expected NATO membership,” Sekerinska said.

Western countries have already delineated Serbia, says Vucic

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic commenting on statements of Germany’s Angela Merkel and the US regarding the ideas for delineation said that Germany and the Unites States had already delineated Serbia and were against changing of borders.

“They have already delineated us, they all have. The US, Germany, UK, France, Italy, Australia, Canada, etc. they all consider Kosovo to be independent and whole. When they say they are against delineation, it means they are against changing of borders that they had establish to our detriment. People must understand this. And I am the one being attacked in this country, because I don’t accept these borders,” Vucic told Radio Television Serbia.

He said he won’t discuss concrete solutions for Kosovo, because ‘there aren’t any.’ However, Serbia is sending three basic goals – preservation of peace, protection of state interests and territory, and protection of the rights and the safety of the Serbian people in Kosovo,” Vucic stressed.

The Serbian President said he would visit Kosovo on September 9.

Trump revokes security clearance of nutjob behind Kumanovo terrorist attack | MINA Report

US president Trump has revoked the security clearance for former CIA Director and terrorist John Brennan, the White House announced Wednesday, in the first decision to come from a review of access for several top Obama-era intelligence and law enforcement officials.

White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders read a statement on behalf of the president during the start of the press briefing, saying Brennan “has a history that calls his credibility into question.”

The statement also claimed Brennan had been “leveraging” the clearance to make “wild outbursts” and claims against the Trump administration in the media.

In the US known as ex CIA director, Brennan is known as a terrorist everywhere else, particularly in Macedonia.
Brennan was behind the terrorist attack that killed 8 Macedonian policemen in Kumanovo in May of 2015.
The muslim convert and Albanian lobbyist promoted by Obama to the top post of the CIA made frequent visits to Kosovo, and if you think that’s bizarre, with two days left at his post before he was set to be replaced, Brennan visited Tirana.

Why would a top CIA official choose to visit a dump like Tirana as his number one priority before he is replaced?
Brennan handed PM Edi Rama the now infamous Tirana platform instructing him that he is still in charge, the planned agenda will continue, all orders will continue to come from him.

In addition, the terrorists that were captured have repeatedly confessed the terrorist attack in Kumanovo was planned in Langley, even elaborated on meetings they had with CIA operatives at the US Base Bondsteel in Kosovo.

This is certainly not unusual, but what is unusual is that these terrorists now want to be freed on the premise that they were simply recruited by the CIA to commit a terrorist attack.

And with the US puppet government in place, this is what precisely may happen. There are already calls for retrials.

Army can’t afford a truck, Sekerinska gives 1m euros from budget for referendum propaganda | MINA Report

While Macedonian soldiers cannot literally and phisically get to their jobs, due to the fact public transit can only get them so far (many of the soldiers are based in mountainous regions), Sekerinska today announced her department (The Ministry of Defense) has allocated 1m euros to spend on propaganda to change Macedonia’s name.

No money for a single bus to transport soldiers, but there is money for propaganda.

“The Ministry of Defense is one of those departments that should be most interested in our strategic priority and we have sent from our finance department information that we are putting a little less than 60 million denars, which were planned for similar activities, but which we think is best used for the referendum” Shekerinska said, answering a journalist question.

Officially, the Government has allocated 5m euros for referendum propaganda, unofficially the number is at 12m euros. Much of this money will be used to buy votes, similarly to the previous elections.

Parliament resumes work after summer break

The Macedonian parliament resumes its duties Monday after a three-week summer break.

Information whether and how the MPs and parliamentary groups will participate in the public campaign for the referendum is expected to be known this week, and also whether the parliament, as authorized proposer, will monitor the work of election bodies that will conduct the referendum on Sept. 30.

Parliamentary Committee on Economic Issues is to discuss today the annual report of Commission for Protection of Competition.

Nineteen items, mainly changes to the laws in the first reading are included in the agenda of 58th parliament’s session which is scheduled for Aug. 29.

The first coordination meeting between Parliament Speaker Talat Xhaferi and the coordinators of the parliamentary groups is expected to be held by the middle of the week.

Xhaferi at the last press briefing on July 31 said that after the summer break, the parliament is expected to elect the members of several second instance commissions as well as director of Operational Technical Agency (OTA).

FM Dimitrov to meet US Secretary of State Pompeo in Washington

Agency: List of 30 producers of genetically modified rice

The Food and Veterinary Agency (FVA) is continuing ground controls after compiling a list of 30 possible producers of genetically modified rice.

The variety of rice produced from a genetically modified seed has been determined, according to FVA director Zoran Atanasov.
Before measures are taken, the controls will pinpoint the producers.

“This matter is being investigated until it is fully resolved. As teams are deployed on the ground, the producers of this variety of rice will be fully disclosed. A list of 30 possible producers has been complied,” Atanasov told reporters.

According to the Agency’s director, controls are heightened not only in the country, but also on border crossings regarding imported goods.

These days, stickers were stuck on several Macedonian vehicles in some resorts in northern Greece: “You are not Macedonians, you are Slavs, Macedonia is Greek,” news portal MKD.mk reported.

The news portal says that after the official stickers that the Greek customs officers still stuck on the vehicles of Macedonian tourists in Greece, these are some new “markings”.

RTS: Pristina claims border demarcation preparations under way

A Kosovo government commission on border demarcation has started preparations by collecting documents to mark the border line with central Serbia, it has been reported.

Commission chairman Shpejtim Bulliqi said he saw ‘no obstacle to mark the border line’, Radio Television Serbia reported citing Pristina-based media outlets.

“Preparations in the commission, collection of documents and strategy preparations have started by a request of Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj. There are certain changes in border lines. However, all these changes along the border line are backed up by documents and political decision,” stated Bulliqi.

It can be expected the issue of ‘border correction’ to be discussed at the upcoming meeting in Brussels between Kosovo’s Hashim Thaci and Serbia’s Aleksandar Vucic.

Dacic: What demarcation? - English - on B92.net

Commenting the reports that Pristina is considering border demarcation with Serbia, Serbian FM Ivica Dacic said "it's not that simple"

"What demarcation, you know well there's an administrative line controlled by KFOR for nearly 20 years", said Dacic
"There's no dilemma about us wanting a compromise", Dacic said in a press conference with the Foreign Minister of Ghana,Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey

"The dialogue will continue in September. For now there are no new suggestions that we agreed on. They are still in the works. Sometimes there's an impression as if everything was solved and a done deal.

Commenting the talks that Pristina wants to take Bujanovac and Presevo Dacic stated that those are all "empty talk"

"We want the least bad solution for everyone", he added after meeting Ghana's FM.

He emphasised that that is why Serbia insists that countries that recognized Kosovo's a sovereign country had made a mistake and that negotiation talks are not over.

When asked about the referendum for a possible Kosovo solution Dacic referred to Churchill saying "we are at the beginning of the end of the negotiation process".

He added that we are still far for reaching the conclusion that's best for everyone.

Vucic, Trump and Macron seek solution for Kosovo - English - on B92.net

A step forward in resolving the "Kosovo knot" could be made as early as November.

The presidents of Serbia , France and the USA will be guests at the big military parade for the 100-year anniversary of the end of the first world war in Paris on November 11.

President Vucic will use the opportunity to exchange views about Kosovo with the world's biggest leaders and try to win their support for the compromise solution, according to the report by Vecernje Novosti newspaper .

Paris meetings could be the height of Vucic's diplomatic offensive concerning Kosovo. Only a few days before this event Vucic will have talks with Russian president Vladimir Putin about the Kosovo problem.

Putin is coming to Belgrade for military parade that Serbia will also organize to commemorate the anniversary of the end of World War I, Vecernje Novosti writes.

Mancevski: If the census is not met, the institutions will decide

Minister of Information Society and Administration Damjan Mancevski once again confirmed on TV Alfa the stance of the government that if the citizens decide to boycott, that is, if the census is not met, the institutions will decide on behalf of the citizens.

“Whatever be the question. The turnout should be over 50 percent, and of them 50 plus 1 to vote in favor of the question. If not, then there is no decision. There is no decision in favor, nor against. Meaning the citizens decided not to make a referendum decision on this issue. Which does not limit other institutions to decide. If the citizens want to decide on their own, they should come out and vote on this issue which is of the utmost importance to them, if they do not want, they can stay at home and allow the institutions to decide for them”, says Mancevski.

SDSM hires 1000s of temps to buy referendum votes, will fire them after referendum | MINA Report

Multiple ministries and departments in the Government have hired over 1,000 temp workers, with the number increasing daily.

The department for defense, culture, sanitation… have brought in hundreds of individuals as temp workers with promises of bright future.

MINA finds from two of these ‘hires’ they were promised permanent jobs, however for now, their positions were temporary.
From sources within the SDSM, not surprisingly, confirmed to us what we suspected – namely, these hires were precisely what they were described as “temporary” political hires and everyone would be fired right after the referendum vote.

For the SDSM it was important to gain the votes in any shape or form possible. With temp hires the hope is to obtain the vote not just of the hired, but those of their families and friends. For this purpose many were promised their family members would get jobs as well.

The one thing just about everyone in Macedonia has noticed is the huge panic among SDSM officials. They now see the referendum as some sort of ‘savior’ for them to stay in power and will do absolutely anything to change the name, despite the fact the referendum itself is illegal, but so is their Government.

What’s striking is that SDSM and Soros mouthpieces (the likes of Frckovski, Milcin) are nowhere to be found, they too seem to feel this will backfire very, very badly.. SDSM officials themselves have been stealing roughly 18m euros per week. What appears to be sheer panic that their days are numbered SDSM officials are literally fighting each other who will steal more.

Hundreds of millions of euros are missing, no one knows where the money went, there are zero projects in the country.

NATO delivers accession conditions, Macedonia to fulfill them in 18 months

Reforms in the judicial system, implementation of internal procedures with respect to the agreement settling the name issue, provision of better transparency and adequate supervision of intelligence and security services, review of internal procedures for deploying armed forces abroad, etc, are some of the instructions sent by NATO to the government of the Republic of Macedonia that should be fulfilled in the next 18 months.

In coordination with the government, the ministries will have to meet many economic, political, security and judicial conditions that should be implemented by late April 2020.

The document, sent by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, features several political conditions Macedonia should fulfill, including most notably a number of conditions in the field of defense and the military. Also, the necessity is pinpointed of making sure that there will be no constitutional or legal restrictions that might hamper collective defense operations, making sure that all strategic guidelines for development, transformation and functioning of the national defense system and capabilities are in compliance with the country’s future membership into NATO.

In one of its conditions, NATO notes that the Ministry of Defense should start realizing plans to reconstruct and modernize the armed forces in an attempt to strengthen the planned military capacities and to develop a more capable, disposable and sustainable forces that can contribute to NATO-led missions. Maintenance of the level of defense expenditures is required, which is enough to support reconstruction and modernization of the armed forces, deemed an effective contribution to the Alliance.

Macedonia and NATO are expected to kick off accession talks next month. The process could last until April 2020, when it is expected to be finalized after it is ratified by NATO member nations and Macedonia.

US Army cooperates with “North Macedonian” soldiers (VIDEO)

The official YouTube channel of the US Army in Europe says that the US military is working on improving interoperability with North Macedonian soldiers. The United States is a strategic partner of the Republic of Macedonia. Military exercises are conducted at the Krivolak military training area.

Whether it is a mistake or an official position of the US Army is a matter on which the public expects an answer.

'Soros Flouted US Charity Laws, Deserves Scrutiny' – Wall Street Analyst

Hungarian-born American billionaire George Soros has repeatedly flouted US charity laws, Wall Street analyst Charles Ortel told Sputnik, explaining why the magnate has dramatically stepped up his lobbying activities under Donald Trump's presidency.

"The vast network of 'false-front' George Soros-backed 'charities' that actually seem to be political action organizations deserves coordinated scrutiny by nations including the US and Russia, among others, that likely have been severely damaged over many years," Wall Street analyst, investor and investigative journalist Charles Ortel told Sputnik.

On August 19, Judicial Watch, a government watchdog, tweeted that it "uncovered bombshell info showing that the Obama administration sent US taxpayer funds overseas to an organization supported by billionaire George Soros — which used the money to fund leftwing political activities benefiting the socialist government of Albania," referring to its April report and apparently signaling that it continues to keep an eye on the magnate.

Earlier, the watchdog revealed that under Barack Obama, the US government used taxpayer dollars to fund the billionaire's controversial political activities in Guatemala, Macedonia and sued the US State Department and USAID for records about the funding and operations of George Soros's Open Society Foundations in Romania and Colombia.

According to Ortel, George Soros has flouted US charity laws in several ways, for decades through his network of Open Society organizations and others.

"First, US charities (and he also supports many foreign ones) must be tightly controlled from bases located on American territory," the Wall Street analyst who has been investigating the Clinton Foundation's alleged fraud for the past few years pointed out. "Second, they may not engage in illegal activities of any kind. Third, they may not engage in partisan political activities. [Additionally] under one US law that is seldom enforced, citizens are not supposed to hold unauthorized negotiations with foreign governments with which the United States is in dispute."

Ortel underscored that Soros "has been a prolific donor to political causes inside and outside the United States" and has apparently violated all the aforementioned regulations.

Soros Stepping Up Lobbying Activities

Meanwhile, Soros has been boosting his lobbying activities in the US Congress, spending a record $16.2 million during Trump's first year. In Q1 and Q2 of 2018 Soros spent $2.52 million and $10.37 million, respectively, according to The Washington Free Beacon. For comparison's sake, between 2002 and 2012 Soros's non-profit spent $19.1 million on lobbying expenses.

According to the investigative journalist, this indicates that Soros and his liberal counterparts' influence has been steadily fading, which requires them to step up lobbying.

In recent years, Soros and other politically active, globalist cronies may actually have been burning some of their considerable fortunes," Ortel said. "Rising influence of social media and declining influence of legacy media means that it may be tougher to lead masses of public opinion to outcomes desired by partisan donors, whether left-leaning like Soros, establishment like Koch, or populists like Trump and Bannon."

Simultaneously, in the United States, and in other nations, people are growing to realize that Soros and other "advocates of unregulated globalism" have certainly enriched themselves, the analyst noted, adding that the middle and the working classes have largely been left out in the cold.

Indeed, the Hungarian government had previously forced Soros's office out of the Country lambasting the foundations controversial political activities in the country related to the refugee crisis. The American billionaire has come under heavy criticism from both foreign governments and US conservatives.

"This growing awareness likely helps explain why voters in so many nations already are upending establishment parties and the status quo to the evident shock of supposed 'thought-leaders' in academia, media, and in 'think-tanks,'" Ortel noted, expressing hope that "charity abuses and unwelcome foreign meddling in national elections will soon be exposed, prosecuted, and then regulated to the fullest extent practicable."

However, it appears that Soros is not going to give up: "In advance of the midterm elections, Soros has so far contributed at least $15 million to support Democratic candidates and causes," The New York Times announced in July. Besides, the media outlet has also been recently listed among the tycoons' beneficiaries: Soros has poured $3 million into the newspaper's stock holdings this year.

Man who fired gun on protesters in Macedonian Parliament new head of Bureau for Public Safety | MINA Report

tase.jpg

Saso Tasevski, known in the Macedonian public as the crazy person who pulled out and fired his gun on protesters in Parliament was promoted to the head of the BJB (Public Safety Bureau).

At the time, Tasevski was working in the police as Zaev’s personal bodyguard. Following EU standards, Tasevski went from bodyguard to head of a public safety agency.

Tasevski is replacing Lazo Velkovski who was fired after giving his Land Rover police vehicle to his teen daughter who then took it for a joy ride to Greece.

Tasevski is said to have discharged his gun twice, once in the ceiling and another in the Parliament balcony.

Like Velkovski, Tasevski too met Governor Jess Baily’s criteria for subservience and sheer stupidity. If he points and fires a gun at protesters, it’s just an added bonus in Baily’s eyes.

Now I know why I'm making so much noise. :rotfl:

Not today. Tetovo beans are now grown in Kyrgizstan, imported by Bulgarian firm, transported by Swiss firm and packaged by a Serbian company.

Zernovski: Strange justice – Tasevski became PSB head on the day when April 27 defendants stand trial

Deputy Foreign Minister Andrej Zernovski wrote on his Facebook profile that Saso Tasevski was unanimously elected as director of the Public Security Bureau at Wednesday’s session.

“I first heard about him while he was the security chief (part of the MoI) at the US Embassy. From all the ambassadors with whom he personally worked with, I heard only praiseworthy words about him. This is a positive example of career progress by quality and merit, since he has been working for the MoI for 20 years. And here, strange justice: on the day when the first hearing in the Criminal Court is scheduled for the events that took place in Macedonia’s Parliament on April 27 last year, on the date when this photo was made and when he proved his high professionalism, Tasevski has been appointed for the head of the PSB. A true professional in the right place,” Zernovski wrote.

Defendants in Parliament storming case stand trial

A trial of the men accused of being involved in the events in Parliament on 27 April 2017 is set to start in a court in Skopje on Wednesday.

In March 2018, the Public Prosecution of Macedonia said it had filed an indictment against 30 men, of whom 28 were indicted for terrorist endangerment of the constitutional order and security and two men for complicity.

According to the public prosecution, the indictment covers three people, who are members of the Interior Ministry hierarchy structure, i.e. holders of ‘gold’ and ‘silver’ command, as well as men who led the ‘For United Macedonia’ movement.

The investigation could be expanded to include other people, because new evidence about the violent storming of Parliament had come to light, according to the prosecutor Darko Jakimovski, who was part of the prosecution team in the trial of the attempted murder of MP Zijadin Sela.

On July 5, seven men indicted for the MP’s attempted murder on 27 April 2017 in Parliament were sentenced to years behind bars.

Kire Gjorgjievski was sentenced to 13 years in prison, Andrej Micov 10,5 years, Oliver Osavkovski 10,5 years, Nikolce Dimitrievski 10,5 years, Aleksandar Janevski-Tosta 13 years, Nikola Vojmirovski 13,5 years, and Kosta Delev 10,5 years.

Deep State asset David Stephenson now working for ‘Special Prosecution Office’ | MINA Report

On August 1st we reported that Deep State asset David Stephenson, a former employee of the State Department has remained in Macedonia despite being fired at the State Department over a year ago.

The US Embassy has dis-proportionally higher number of staff in Macedonia than in most European countries. And the reason for this is Deep State’s spokesman John Kerry who in 2014 announced that Macedonia is in the line of fire, meaning it’s a target for destabilization by the US Government.

Out of the 35 CIA operatives in Macedonia, David Stephenson (officially a former liaison at the US Embassy) was probably the most famous due to his over the top public engagement in helping the SDSM get to power by any means necessary.

stivenson22.jpg

Prior to the 2017 elections David Stephenson was meeting with high ranking SDSM officials at Midnight in various Skopje coffee shops giving them instructions. The man is certainly a ‘field player’.

Below is what former judge Vladimir Pancevski thinks of this:

A year ago, Stephenson was fired by the State Department. However, with the arrival of the SDSM, Stephenson continued his stay in Macedonia where now he is heavily engaged in the referendum propaganda.

But, it gets way better. This week, he has been hired as an ‘advisor’ in Baily’s Special Prosecution office, known in Macedonia as SJO.
So we now have an American deep state asset, who has repeatedly undermined the country, will advise an illegal Special Prosecution Office under control of the US Ambassador, whose main job is to prosecute anyone who is against changing Macedonia’s name.
We have already accepted that just about anything goes in Macedonia, but this is now simply crazy.

SDSM to spend 670,000 euros on flowers, 400,000 euros on coffee | MINA Report

The SDSM junta just announced they will spend 670,000 euros to plant flowers around the Government building. And no, this is not The Onion.

When in opposition, the SDSM threw hissy fits when the previous Government spent 10,000 euros to beautify the entire downtown area with flowers, below is an example:

Skopje-boat-on-river-macedonia.jpg

The reason we showed you the example above is because the junta spent (pocketed) 5m euros to remove the boat, and now there is no trace of flowers anywhere.

So, 670,000 euros on ‘flowers’ around a Government building? This is what happens when the individuals who are stealing money have zero intellect, cannot come up with any sort of project that will allow them to steal money. In fact, like their mentor idiots in Washington who ‘spend’ $45 on a can of soda, $1500 on a single outlet, $13,000 on a toilet lid, now their students in the SDSM announced spending 670,000 euros on flowers that generally cost no more than 5,000 euros (and this will take care of the entire downtown area), not just the lawn of a Government building.

But that’s not all, both the city of Skopje where mayor is perpetually drunk Petre Shilegov and the Government have announced they will spend 400,000 euros on coffee. This is for coffee brewed in the administrative offices! Again, if they had a shred of intellect, there would be other means to steal. For example, the SDSM can get 50 sh*tty tanks from Bulgaria for free, then lie to the public they paid 12m euros for them and pocket the money.
Wait, the SDSM already did this… lets think of something else that doesn’t involve flowers, coffee, napkins and cutlery.

By the way, Petre Shilegov on a 1,000 euro salary keeps buying apartments in Skopje (now has five), bought his son a new car, and bought a villa in Mavrovo (and this is only in Macedonia)… Let me see you do this on a 1,000 euro monthly salary…

FM Dimitrov meets in Washington with US Secretary of State Pompeo (video)

Foreign Minister Nikola Dimitrov had an official meeting Tuesday in Washington with US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, who voiced strong support for Macedonia to become the 30th NATO member.

‘This is a very significant moment for the Macedonian diplomacy. My meeting today with US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo was rather encouraging’ Dimitrov told MIA.

He also underlined the significance of the timing of his meeting with Pompeo.

‘As you know we are now focused on our homework. There is a need of successful referendum to confirm the agreement we have reached with our friends from Greece. Macedonia intends to become a full-fledged member of the military alliance and our American friends offer staunch support to that effect,’ Dimitrov said.

I am coming home tomorrow, he said, to convey the US encouraging messages to the citizens of Macedonia.

Speaking to MIA Washington correspondent, Wess Mitchell, US Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs, commended Dimitrov for his personal role in Macedonia-Greece name talks crowned with the Prespa Agreement.

‘As one of the architects of this agreement, Minister Dimitrov played a vital role in the entire process. The US strongly supports the efforts of the Macedonian government. We highly appreciate Dimitrov’s role in the entire process and the US wish and hope for a successful referendum,’ Mitchell told MIA.

Vulin: “EU will have to rein in Haradinaj”

Serbian Defence Minister Aleksandar Vulin pointed out that EU would have to “rein in” Haradinaj and prevent destabilization in the Balkans.

“Haradinaj’s war threats are reason enough why Kosovo shouldn’t have an army and why we have to draw a clear and strong line between Serbia and Greater Albania”, Vulin said this morning, B92 reports.

Serbia would not be entering any wars,it wouldn’t cause conflict but it would protect its interests and its people, he said in a Ministry of Defence statement.

“European Union will have to rein in Haradinaj and prevent conflicts and destabilization in the Balkans, which is in its own interest. Special Court for war crimes committed by Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) beginning work and indicting the KLA criminals would pave the way for stabilization and conciliation.” Vulin pointed out.
