Major wildfires hit Los Angeles

Yes, most of these fires are man-made events, perhaps accidental, perhaps not. Not new for the area, as it is all desert essentially, and ready to burn at most times of the year, as rain isn't seen much of in these parts usually. The unusual part is the Santa Anna winds occurring at the same time, but on the bright side, it has the skies nice and clear! No smoke in surrounding areas like most forest fires.

Very illustrative, thanks for sharing. And it is better understood why the bushes are burning on another side. It does not detract, of course, the fact that there may be arsonists lighting other areas.
