I received a Tascam handheld recorder for Christmas, and have been playing around with it. Here is one of the first recordings I made with it. It is just adding my bass to a backing track of Miles Davis' Solar. It was done with the mics a few feet in front of my amp, and sounds pretty good, although the levels are pretty low. I plan to use to record our jam sessions to play back later to learn from them.
