I want to share this video about Marilyn Van Derbur.She was a Miss.America in the `50.From 5 years till 18 years all she suffer sexual abuse from his father.But the most important point it is how she recover from that terribly experience.She still is between us,full of life and strength.She is sharing her life in order to help others.SHE IS REALLY A SURVIVOR.

That was very moving, thanks for posting it munaychasumaq. To have had what happened to her was one thing, but I think what hurt Marilyn more was her mother. Jeez, to be let down by the two very people who were meant to protect her. She was lucky to have found a loving husband (after getting out of her 1st marriage)- so often the pattern of abuse continues by being in abusive relationships.

That hard experiences and the marvelous resilience on human beings are the best gift that they can give us in order to put some order in our lives.They are the best teachers.Yeah, life is suffering,but it is on us to reduce this suffering.
