I thought to start a new thread where US "oops mistake" airstrikes are detailed for easy reference. There have been hundreds in the last dozen years, which might be hard to detail, but even starting now and the list will quickly grow long. Putting a date in front of each event would help.

Amnesty International said Monday a US-made bomb was used in an air strike on a hospital in Yemen, urging Washington and London to stop supplying the Saudi-led coalition with weapons.

The August 15 attack hit a hospital supported by Doctors Without Borders (MSF) at Abs in the northern province of Hajja and killed 19 people, including an MSF staffer.
Even though it is Saudi Arabia who committed it, the US is very much supportive of it, if not directly calling the shots.

Russia-brokered ceasefire shattered as US airstrikes against Syrian Army in Deir ez-Zor leaves 80 soldiers dead, over 100 injured (UPDATES)

US-led coalition jets have bombed Syrian government forces' positions near the eastern city of Deir ez-Zor, "paving the way" for Islamic State militants, the Syrian Army General Command told the state television.

According to Syria's official SANA news agency, the bombing took place on al-Tharda Mountain in the region of Deir ez-Zor and caused casualties and destruction on the ground.

....

The United States Central Command released a statement admitting that they hit Syrian Army positions, but claim that they did not intent to target Syrian servicemen in violation of the ceasefire agreement, but were instead targeting Daesh terrorists.

Up to eight policemen have been killed in Afghanistan as a result of US airstrikes, officials told media. The US has confirmed one airstrike, but insists the assault was in response to a threat.

An initial airstrike killed one policeman late Sunday, while a follow-up strike targeting first responders killed at least seven others, said Rahimullah Khan, commander of the reserve police unit in Uruzgan, according to Reuters.

Afghanistan's ToloNews also reported that the eight Afghan National Police (ANP) officers were killed at their checkpoint in central Uruzgan province.
...
The US military command in Kabul has confirmed its warplanes conducted an airstrike in the area, but said those targeted were “individuals firing on, and posing a threat to” Afghan national security forces.

Perhaps there is already a web site that details this, just not to my knowledge. I think it would also be okay to add older entries. The idea is to make it easy to have en overview with a date, a link, a headline, and a few sentences describing the event. Bold a few items and put the description in quotation marks. Sorry if I am OCD'ing. Others might well have other ideas how to order it.

In my opinion, this is a "Super Great Idea" Aeneas!

What better way to expose the lies - then to document - the time, place and advent and the destruction that followed.

Excellent idea.

I was looking today some video about their las attack and I find absolutely NOTHING. Maybe if people find videos it will be interesting to put them here. But there are videos of others attacks, so it is not the first time the coalition is doing this.

Just thought I would add, there have been many attacks (bombings) on MSF hospitals in Syria, as well as in Yemen. Of course most are denied by the USA, but some have been confirmed "missed targets or bad coordinates by the USA". Here is an article about many of the attacks in Syria, will look for more as I pour through them.

One such apology by the White House and Obama. Seems they make a "lot of mistakes". Being that the US has the most sophisticated satellite imagery and a lot of inside intel into where these mistakes are made, it looks to be not a mistake at all.

US calls on Assad to respect truce after US airstrikes on Syrian Army

https://www.almasdarnews.com/article/video-us-calls-assad-respect-truce-us-airstrikes-syrian-army/

Less than 24 hours after the U.S. Airforce mistakenly struck Syrian Arab Army (SAA) positions in Deir Ezzor, killing over 80 soldiers, US Secretary of State John Kerry told the BBC that Russia needs to be more serious about getting the Syrian government to abide by the terms of the ceasefire.

Six days after the start of a fragile truce, air strikes are reported to have targeted anti-government groups in Aleppo.

During an interview with the BBC, Kerry was asked to what extent the US military would be responsible if the ceasefire did not hold.

Hi Scotseeker. To be of help, it would be good if you could provide more than just a link as it otherwise means having to look up the article, check the dates, what happened, who did what etc. You can see examples I made in the first post of this thread.

Secondly New York Times is not reliable, but supports US aggression and regime change. Likewise with many other Western outlets. The link you provided from NYT blamed all attacks on Russia and the Syrian government. Pure propaganda.

Using underscore before the link is recommended as a general rule unless it is from Sott so as not to give traffic to MSM sources.

To find more examples from the past, the search function on Sott is useful, but there are lots more. As I said, even if we just take note of the ones that happens now and will happen in the future, the list will quickly get long. Unfortunately so, I am afraid.

Won't be surprised if this turns out to be another 'mistake'. :(

Attack on Humanitarian Convoy in Syria Leaves 'Many People' Dead

UN Under-Secrtary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator Stephen O'Brien said that the attack on a humanitarian convoy while delivering aid in Syria’s Aleppo governorate has left "many people" dead.

UNITED NATIONS (Sputnik) — The attack on a humanitarian convoy while delivering aid in Syria’s Aleppo governorate has left "many people" dead, UN Under-Secrtary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator Stephen O'Brien said in a statement Tuesday.

"Initial reports indicate that many people have been killed or seriously injured, including SARC volunteers, as a result of these sickening attacks. A SARC warehouse was also hit and a SARC health clinic was also reportedly severely damaged," the statement reads.

UN Secretary-General’s deputy spokesman Farhan Haq told Sputnik on Monday that the UN and Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) convoy was struck while delivering humanitarian aid in Syria’s Aleppo governorate.

According to the United Nations, at least 18 of the 31 trucks in the convoy were hit. The incident took place near the town of Urum al-Kubra northwest of Aleppo.

For this thread, a recent SoTT article Focus is a good one - for it also has its focus on the ridiculous nature of the silly coalition of the willing:

SOTT News Snapshot: September 19 edition - First Syrians, now Afghans - Americans bomb Afghan police - while terror distracts America

Something odd is happening in response to the airstrike on Syrian troops. Some U.S. vassals are lining up to fall on their swords for their master. First it was the Australians, whose Defense Department said their jets participated in the massacre (despite the fact that the attack was reportedly carried out by F16s, and the Australians only have F18s in the fight). PM Turnbull regurgitated the U.S.'s official statement ("we would never intentionally... blah blah... regret... blah..."), adding that coordination with Russia in Syria is "desirable".

Next to fess up was Denmark, saying 2 of their F-16s were involved, and they too regurgitated the U.S. statement ("stopped immediately after the Russians reported"). Confused yet? There were only supposed to have been 2 F-16s involved, and we're already up to 4.

Finally, the UK "confirmed" that it too took part in the massacre, and it too regurgitated the U.S. lie ("never in a million billion gazillion years would we ever even remotely consider entertaining the tiniest fleeting thought about intentionally targeting the Syrian military...blah, blah...").

So the strike now involves the UK, the US, Australia and Denmark. Well gee whiz, it looks like there wasn't any room for Americans in this coalition of the shilling! Isn't it great to have your underlings take the blame and parrot your lies? Even if people were to believe the glaring lie that 'it was all a big mistake', it should still be obvious that the US coalition is ineptly dangerous and can't stop itself from aiding terrorists.

Great article by the way! There are links within the original quotes, with much more also discussed in the article. It really is mind boggling what these war-monkeys will do and what they are capable of doing.

I've read a few articles in Canada that mention the attack, the Oops moment, and then shift gears back to new attacks and thoughts from the Syrian Observatory shills. It really is so pathetic what they get away with in the media, and hardly anyone says a word.

This one has been mentioned in recent days, as it was the last time that the US made an airstrike in Deir Ezzor on Syrian troops:

Dec. 6, 2015
_http://www.cbsnews.com/news/syria-accuses-us-bombing-state-forces-army-soldiers-deir-ezzor-airstrikes/

Syria said Monday that U.S. airstrikes had killed three Syrian military personnel in Deir Ezzor province, and condemned the alleged attack as a "blatant aggression" and obstacle to the government's fight against "terrorism."

A spokesman for the U.S.-led military coalition in Iraq and Syria denied any targeting of Syrian forces, however.

Pentagon admits to "accidental" airstrike killing 22 people at Kunduz hospital

Pentagon has admitted its airstrike erroneously hit a hospital in Afghanistan that killed 22 people, adding that the Afghan military had requested the use air power.
...
"As you know the United States military takes extraordinary steps to avoid harm to civilians. However, the Taliban have chosen to fight from within a heavily urbanized area, purposely placing civilians in harm's way. We will continue to take all necessary steps to avoid future civilian casualties," Campbell said. [Typical BS not based on facts]

...
"We find it puzzling that the airstrike took place despite the international coalition being notified of the exact coordinates of the hospital to prevent possible attacks," Maria Zakharova, spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry, said on Monday.

Nope, that one is already blamed on "Russian or Syrian jets" - without any evidence.

Yes, it is disgusting! The US really needed a big false flag, in this case a soft target of a humanitarian convoy to justify the tough rhetoric on Russia. And owning the media, they can save face, justify more military aggression/spending and demonise Russia some more. The war party benefits from this attack. Neither Russia nor Syria had anything to gain from it.

The UN says it is too early to place blame, but we know from the M17 flight over Ukraine, how they can and will whitewash things.

Naming Perpetrator of Attack on Aleppo Aid Convoy Premature - UN
GENEVA (Sputnik) – On Monday, the OCHA said that the aid convoy crossed the conflict line in the Big Orem area of the Syrian city of Aleppo. Later in the day, UN officials stated that the convoy had been shelled and there were casualties.

"They are fully aware of what has happened… We are still trying to establish exactly what happened. Both sides have influence on those who have access to these kinds of weapons so we are giving that information to them," Jens Laerke told RIA Novosti. Laerke called for an investigation into the incident. "It’s easy to blame this and blame that but… that’s very dangerous to do, it’s premature to do this before you have established the facts," the official said. According to Laerke, both the Damascus forces and the opposition groups were aware of the fact that the convoy would attempt to deliver aid, and had given permission for it to do so.

That is not entirely true, as many opposition groups said they would not abide by the ceasefire and that they would not let humanitarian aid through.

Exactly, and it's a distraction from Russia pointing out the US was acting like ISIS's airforce at the UNSC. The US is going to kick and scream about this one, judging by Samantha Powers reaction.
I'd hope Russia would have already planed for such a move, so it will be interesting to see what happens next.

I hope so too. This is getting nerve-wracking. The US openly bombs the Syrian army and then demands they uphold the truce. I shudder when I remind myself these non-humans have nuclear weapons. It really seems they're trying to strong-arm their media edge into producing the most shameful lies in the hopes that something sticks.

Some good points in the article below.

MORE WASHINGTON MADNESS: US ACCUSES RUSSIA OF BOMBING UN CONVOY

http://katehon.com/agenda/more-washington-madness-us-accuses-russia-bombing-un-convoy

Last night, a United Nations humanitarian convoy bound for Aleppo was attacked. The UN has not commented whether it was an air strike or explosive on the road.

US charges

However, US officials claim that the convoy of UN trucks was attacked by the Russian or Syrian armies. Moreover, an unnamed American official claimed that “not only we, but also the UN and the Red Cross” have “irrefutable evidence.” Later, however, he explained that there is no evidence of Russian involvement, and that the convoy was hit from the air.

Lack of evidence

Perhaps the lack of evidence is due to the fact that Russia, unlike the US, does not bomb everything that can be seen from above. The official representative of the Ministry of Defense, Major-General Igor Konashenkov has repeatedly stressed that "Russian planes do not launch strikes at targets within the boundaries of residential areas," and that the attack occurred near Aleppo where, at the same time, Jabhat Al-Nusra launched an offensive. Fierce fighting took place overnight, but by the time of the incident we can say that the Syrian army had repulsed the attack of militants and launched a counteroffensive.

Yesterday, the Syrian army announced the termination of the ceasefire. Perhaps this is the very secret "irrefutable proof" of Syrian involvement in the attack on humanitarian convoy, but what more likely happened is that this was the White House’s next step in destabilizing the situation. It seems that the Pentagon order was meant to draw Syria away from the Jabhat Al-Nusra offensive in Aleppo.

The UN in Syria

Damascus has also accused the UN of supporting terrorists. A source has reported that a UN employee prevented the withdrawal of armed fighters from Homs under false pretenses. The source added that “the Syrian government has said that there is no justification for the behavior of UN officials that impedes the implementation of the agreement” according to which more than 250 terrorists and their families should removed to Idleb province.

No official comments on the UN humanitarian convoy coming under fire have been reported from the Russian and Syrian ministries and the United Nations.
