COOL!
I like that psychedelic touch.
Thanks Brunauld! I respond well to bright colors and am the one refraining from wearing black to funerals..:)

Really beautiful artwork Scarlet. :)
I imagined blowing them up and having each one on a different wall of the exterior of my house... dont think my landlord would go for it though... he he....
Your creations remind me of so much... but I really thought of them being everywhere on the urban landscape... our cities would be so nice with beautiful pieces like that around...
Look forward to seeing more. :)
Wow, this is such a cool thought to have and I never imagined my work displayed in such a way! You are a creative thinker and IMO, it's too bad there is so much red tape out there to restrict it!

These are some wonderful pieces Scarlet. The last one you posted made me kind of sad, because seeing people truly enjoy life for what it is, is rare. The picture for me, represents an ideal world, or what life could be.
Hi Drea, I must say your comment makes me very giggly, because an idealized setting is exactly what I was going for with that drawing! My friend gave me about ten photographs of her family looking cheerful and I worked directly off of them here. The drawing was not fun for me to create and I was in a constant struggle trying to figure out how I would harmonize all those figures with the radiating sunset background I felt like creating. My friend wanted the figures to be certain colors and I became frustrated with that.
In the end, I decided to smear a blender colored pencil (imagine a clear colored pencil) all over the figures but in the direction of the lines that are radiating out of the sun in an effort of achieving harmony between the figures and the background. Basically, I smudged up their details, distorting the emphasis of idealism that I had originally been intending, but I recognized that I had already thrown on bright colors (ie. warm colors) in energetic ways (ie. diagonal lines) to the point where this drawing is dripping with enough sappy sweetness already. I now see that someone has already responded to the drawing in the deceitful way I had intended it to be viewed, NICE!!
This is how propaganda art is effective on the masses. I'm so glad I get to teach and don't have to make art based on lies and distortions just to get by. There is so much of it out there, you know?
Well, thanks again for the feedback here, everyone!! :)
