Narcissistic mother, will it ever end?

Do you really know who and what you are? do we ever fully know?


What I meant by this is that I was given the gift and opportunity to discover what is truly important and matters most to me and in my life. That being said, I also have found that knowing yourself does not and should never preclude constantly growing, learning about yourself and becoming more than the person you have been to date. This has especially been the case for me recently, as I've been reaching new and ever deepening levels of personal & emotional self-knowledge and understanding. I believe a solid base of center & self is fundamental to this process. So yes I think you can truly know yourself with a knowledge that becomes fuller over time. :) Thank you for your comments and encouragement!

Wow, SpiritHeart67, I really had to squint to read the first sentence (or questions rather) because of the small font you used. Since this is your second post, it might be an idea to post an intro about your self here, and find below the customary welcome message for people new to the forum:

In the meantime, it's a good idea to bookmark the Cassiopaea Esoteric Glossary, as it is a very useful reference that can be used when you encounter concepts/terminology that you may not be familiar with. It should be consulted before posting questions on the forum.

Note that there are some "off limits" areas to the forum that are restricted to all but active forum participants, and we ask you to please keep the noise down. You will also not be able to edit or delete your posts until you reach a minimum of 50 posts. In that respect, it pays to use the "Preview" button prior to posting your message so that you can see how your post will look to others.

Finally, there is so much information on this forum that before beginning a new thread or asking a question on a subject, it is recommended to use either the quick search function at the top of the page or the more advanced search function on the menu function.
