Hi all!
It's been nearly 2 years I do neuroptimal (with 1-2 months pauses 3 times upon the 2 years)
and no effect at all :-(
and please don't say "but it's subtle". Always memory loss, attention deficit, I continue losing important objects (credit card, keys, ID card), irritable etc. My tinnitus even increased these last 2 years. I can't tell it's due to neuroptimal, I just note it and I don't know the reason.

I will contact Zengar and ask them.

I would also contact the company. However, assuming that the ‘no effect’ is an accurate observation , then keeping that variable constant (if you can afford it), and use the neurofeedback as a monitoring system, you could try changing your diet? Just an idea. Basically keep the baby and the bathtub with the water but change the soap?

I changed my diet long ago, before I went in neuroptimal. I've done sessions regularly since 2 years now!
Some news from Zengar (the seller of NO device): they checked the laptop, there was no virus, nothing special, the device works normally. They updated it (it has yet been updated last year and when I changed for version3 - they recommend to make the update each year, and change electrodes each year).
I asked why I didn't had any result, if there are other failed cases. He answered that the NO device is for well-being only!
So, I recommend to those who want to invest in a so pricey device designed for only well-being to contact them (you have their email edress on their website) and make it clear. It seems that the version 3 is not as good as the previous ones? I asked if they can install the previous version, he said No.

Since you have had both versions and according to you haven't experienced anything, how do you then come to the idea that NO2 was better? In other words if NO2 did nothing for you and NO3 did nothing, then how was NO2 better?

For legal reasons they will have to say that it is for wellbeing only. If they would mention any benefits, they would get in trouble. That is how it is with all alternative treatment therapies, which don't come from Big Pharma.

It doesn't mean that Neuroptimal is the cure all end all and for some it might not live up to expectations. Therefore, it can be a good idea to have some sessions beforehand from a practitioner before deciding to possibly buy one. No one is forced to buy one and sessions are reasonably priced though there are big variations too.

Personally, I have found it very helpful in changing lifelong patterns of anger issues which were directed at myself. A change that my partner has noticed too. She has also been having sessions and found it helpful for her.

It's not an affirmation, see my interrogation point, it's just a question, as older models are usually better (generally speaking, and as they don't make older models available anymore). Plus: I had much more session with NO3, only 2 months with NO2.

I had sessions beforehand with a practionner, he said that for some people many months, sometimes at least one year is necessary.

Good for you!

I have not gone through this thread properly yet so hopefully this has not been posted yet. Watched this TEDx Talk with Daniel Amen called The most important lesson from 83,000 brain scans. Although he does not mention any neurofeedback treatment and talks about brain rehabilitation (brain-smart program), I found it very inspiring in relation to NeurOptimal. As he says, it is very often the case that people come to see a doctor with various symptom but in fact it would be much better to see the scans of their brains. Even two people with totally same set of symptoms might show very different brain scans so the diagnosis as well as the following treatment would be different too, tailored to their needs.

Such a thing as a minor brain traumatic experience (physical injury and/or psychological damage) caused in various stages of one's life can express itself in behavior of the given person in such a way that might easily mislead the doctor who is trying to diagnose him/her. Therefore brain scan of people would always be useful when trying to figure out their diagnosis. If you own NO3 system, you may use the information in the video when talking to your clients but especially to your potential clients who ask what neurofeedback can do for them. Once again I realized that the saying "Neuroptimal can be good for anyone with a brain" is very appropriate.
