NeuroFeedback, NeurOptimal and Electroencephalography

You probably won't believe me on this, but I will tell you anyway. :-)

Somehow, I managed to influence my dreams by light. I have roller wooden window blinds on my window. And my room is oriented towards south-east so that there is a lot of sunlight early in the morning and all the way until early afternoon. So far I was rolling down my window blinds just enough to darken my room somewhat, but a couple of days ago I decided to roll them down almost completely to the bottom, so that now the light shines only through the lines between wooden planks. I also have window shades, so the light in the room with this setup is very soft, yellowish and bright enough that you can read but not enough to disturb my sleep. And that somehow changed my dreams. There is some kind of extra quality to them. But it doesn't work if it is cloudy, there has to be direct light on my window.

I remember that Clark Elliot said that sleeping with his prism glasses made his dreams more productive, and it seems that I achieved a similar effect. But I have no idea how to interpret what I have done. What aspect of this light setup has such effect?

I am not sure if this is it, but the way that light looks in my room with this setup looks like this:

My window blinds are not completely rolled down, so a part of the light does reflect from the bottom of my window up to the ceiling. So perhaps I have an effect of prism lighting in my room?

Q: (L) Okay, I have been hearing funny popping and crackling sounds in the psychomantium at night. The other night I even saw an Egyptian guy walking back toward the mirror along the side of the bed where I was. He looked exactly like one of those carved images with the funny perspective. It seemed that he must have come out of the mirror, interacted with me in some way, and I was awakened by his presence as he was going back... We have been sleeping regularly in the psychomantium and there is a HUGE increase in frequency and clarity of dreams. There is an interesting energy in the tent. Who or what was this being I encountered?

A: Find out.

Q: (L) Is there anything we can do to enhance this process? We sleep in it and are trying to just be used to it being there without expectation.

A: Good.

Q: (L) Is it a doorway that can be used while we are sleeping?

A: Yes.

Q: (L) Do we use it while we are sleeping?

A: Probably.

Perhaps my room also becomes a doorway with this light setup? I do not have a mirror in a room, but perhaps a ceiling behaves like a mirror?

Q: (Ark) Is it this ghost that is causing sleeping problems and other problems?

A: Yes

Q: (L) So how do we get rid of the ghost?

A: Change the energy.

Q: (L) How do you change the energy?

A: Move the dressing table.

Q: [Laughter] (L) Why?!

A: Mirror faces window.

Q: (Bubbles) So when the mirror faces the window, that does what?

A: Bounces waves of light energy.

Q: (Bubbles) So if we wanted to have a haunted house, we'd just need to have a bunch of mirrors in facing the windows. (L) Not that simple! So these problems started after I moved the furniture around, didn't they? (Ark) It's possible. (L) After I put the dressing table where I put it.

Well, in this setup, the ceiling bounces waves of light energy. Perhaps that's the trick?

A: Chamber for viewing other realms, possible futures and entities residing in other densities. Need clear depth... such as large polished mirror on stand, which can be adjusted as to angle... walls must be completely covered in black, so as to eliminate reflection... soft, low, indirect lighting.

The reflection from the walls must be eliminated, but not from the ceiling? Direct light doesn't do anything, only the reflected light can, but it must come either from the mirror or the ceiling?

I also have window shades, so the light in the room with this setup is very soft, yellowish and bright enough that you can read but not enough to disturb my sleep. And that somehow changed my dreams.
You sleep in light instead of darkness?

When I go to bed, it is dark. But in the morning it gets very bright because the sun shines directly on the window.
It sounds like you made your room darker, which is better for your sleep and might explain why your dreams are different.

Perhaps this could explain my light setup. With my setup, I have stripes of light coming into the room between window blinds. Perhaps I changed the polarization of light in the room?

From the comments section:

The physiological explanation for this is the lower oxygen levels cause mild hypoxia which encourages divergent thinking due to decreased inhibition (altered prefrontal cortex function). It’s like being mildly buzzed from alcohol. The mild hypoxia is also a low level stressor, which increases dopamine production so your reward pathways become more active.

I found another description that connects dopamine with spirituality. Unfortunately, we don't know exactly what this woman experienced, but it seems like stimulating the reward centre in the brain can lead to spiritual experiences. Of course, the materialists will use this to say that spiritual experiences are nothing more than just brain chemicals doing their thing which human mind perceives as spiritual experiences, but what if brain chemicals really can open us to a better connection with the spiritual side of ourselves and the universe?

“The month of March 2017 is when I began to drink the liquid nano KB220Z, and it worked fairly quickly for me. In fact I feel like it was almost immediate. However, realistically, it was a week or less. The first real benefit was I did not feel the need to shop. I had this sudden burst of hope or responsibility to get both my shopping and hoarding under control. Since taking KB220Z in March, my personal relationships with my family have dramatically changed. Specifically, I feel that even though I have always been kind and compassionate, I noticed that now I feel more spiritually kind towards my family. I feel my quest for spirituality (faith) has always been a struggle for me and often confused, but ironically in the month of March, I felt as though I was found, or that I found myself opening up in a raw way to GOD. I selflessly opened up. I cried for days when that happened to me. In terms of my relationship with my mother, I am so much more patient, and have not acted passionately toward her when she has maybe said something hurtful or intentionally did something to hurt my feelings. My coping skills seemed to allow me to let things slide off my back and that is a first for me. Happily I report that I am softer towards her and can do kind and loving things for her because I am thinking about her feelings now. In the pre-KB220Z period, there was so much hate and resentment. I am learning how to like her/love her. In general I feel that KB220Z and my doctor (TM) are responsible for these beautiful changes in my life.”

Q: (Psyche) I want to ask something about ketosis. Why is it so healing for the brain? It's been useful for cases of epilepsy, but now they're finding uses for bipolar disorder and other psychiatric and neurological diseases.

A: It reflects a balance. That is, no gluttony, respect for the gifts of the goddess blood.

Q: (L) So it's as much a spiritual balance as physical.

I think I found my missing factor. This could be the reason why I couldn't replicate some things. Since I was always underweight, I never fasted intentionally, so every time I fasted it was accidental. But this accidental fasting perhaps opened my brain to some interesting effects.

There are a lot of articles about the effects of fasting on the brain produced in this century. And there seems to be several things involved in the process. From a purely nutritional point of view, fasting is all you need, but from a brain perspective, fasting may not always be enough, because for some effect people may need to actually feel hungry. And this is something that I think that many nutritionists do not speak about. Because it is quite possible to practice intermittent fasting without feeling much hunger. Now, fasting by itself can have some positive effects, but if you feel hungry that can produce additional benefits because hunger hormones behave like neurochemicals in the brain which can change some brain receptors. One of them is dopamine in the reward centers in the brain.

So, instead of trying to avoid being hungry so that you can prolong your fasting, perhaps doing the opposite can be more beneficial for the brain for some people. What makes you hungry is probably quite individual so you would have to experiment a little. I know a woman who claims that coffee makes her hungry, for me, it's the opposite. In my case, vitamin C makes me hungry.

I mentioned how a light setup in my room was somehow affecting my dreams. I wonder if it has anything to do with this:

Is it true that Spiritus Mundi tends to get trapped in enclosed spaces?

As absurd as it may seem, after having said that it could pass through glass, one of the systems to “catch” it is through stone boxes with slits or holes. The fact that the opening must be narrow makes us immediately think that the Spiritus Mundi travels with the laminar flows of air and not with the turbulent flows that would form with larger openings. Even the systems to “catch” the dew and morning humidity of the air have narrow slits. Having also mentioned above the probable “sonic force” of the Spiritus Mundi, we find ourselves in a puzzling cul de sac. In conclusion, I also want to mention the fact that the first sacred buildings were tombs, temples came later. And this at least does not contradict the tendency of the Spiritus Mundi to slide ever further downwards. Even in this case, we must rely on “tradition” without being able to understand why.

In physics, this phenomenon is known as diffraction grating:

What Is a Diffraction Grating?

A diffraction grating is an optical component featuring thousands of parallel, closely-spaced lines or grooves that split and diffract light into its constituent wavelengths. Unlike prisms which use refraction, gratings use the principle of diffraction to separate light. When polychromatic light passes through or reflects off a diffraction grating, each wavelength disperses at a distinct angle, creating a spectrum. The mathematical relationship governing this behaviour is described by the diffraction grating equation, which relates the angles of diffraction to wavelength and grating spacing.

Astronomy

Light diffraction is instrumental in astronomy for analyzing and interpreting celestial phenomena. Telescopes equipped with diffraction gratings or prisms can diffuse incoming light into its component wavelengths, revealing valuable information about the composition, temperature, and motion of distant celestial objects. Spectroscopy, a technique based on light diffraction, allows astronomers to study the chemical composition of stars, galaхies, and nebulae, proνiding insights into their formation and evolution.

CD/DVD/Blu-ray Discs

Optical discs, such as CDs, DVDs, and Blu-ray discs, utilize light diffraction to store and retrieve digital data. Tiny pits and lands on the surface of these discs modulate the reflection of the laser beam, causing diffraction patterns that are interpreted as binary data.

Some people sell diffraction grating glasses: Diffraction Grating | Study Light & Color | Rainbow Symphony
It is only for education, but if prism glasses can be used for therapeutic purposes, perhaps these glasses can also be used for something similar?
