New years eve sexual assaults in Cologne - a psyop?

The following is the executive summary from an open letter to the "fighters and followers of the self-declared Islamic State". It was signed by 128 of the world's foremost Islamic scholars and religious leaders, and can therefore be seen as reflecting the true beliefs of the vast majority of the world's practicing Muslims:

1- It is forbidden in Islam to issue fatwas without all the necessary learning requirements. Even then fatwas must follow Islamic legal theory as defined in the Classical texts. It is also forbidden to cite a portion of a verse from the Qur’an—or part of a verse—to derive a ruling without looking at everything that the Qur’an and Hadith teach related to that matter. In other words, there are strict subjective and objective prerequisites for fatwas, and one cannot ‘cherry-pick’ Qur’anic verses for legal arguments without considering the entire Qur’an and Hadith.
2- It is forbidden in Islam to issue legal rulings about anything without mastery of the Arabic language.
3- It is forbidden in Islam to oversimplify Shari’ah matters and ignore established Islamic sciences.
4- It is permissible in Islam [for scholars] to differ on any matter, except those fundamentals of religion that all Muslims must know.
5- It is forbidden in Islam to ignore the reality of contemporary times when deriving legal rulings.
6- It is forbidden in Islam to kill the innocent.
7- It is forbidden in Islam to kill emissaries, ambassadors, and diplomats; hence it is forbidden to kill journalists and aid workers.
8- Jihad in Islam is defensive war. It is not permissible without the right cause, the right purpose and without the right rules of conduct.
9- It is forbidden in Islam to declare people non-Muslim unless he (or she) openly declares disbelief.
10- It is forbidden in Islam to harm or mistreat—in any way—Christians or any ‘People of the Scripture’.
11- It is obligatory to consider Yazidis as People of the Scripture.
12- The re-introduction of slavery is forbidden in Islam. It was abolished by universal consensus.
13- It is forbidden in Islam to force people to convert.
14- It is forbidden in Islam to deny women their rights.
15- It is forbidden in Islam to deny children their rights.
16- It is forbidden in Islam to enact legal punishments (hudud) without following the correct procedures that ensure justice and mercy.
17- It is forbidden in Islam to torture people.
18- It is forbidden in Islam to disfigure the dead.
19- It is forbidden in Islam to attribute evil acts to God.
20- It is forbidden in Islam to destroy the graves and shrines of Prophets and Companions.
21- Armed insurrection is forbidden in Islam for any reason other than clear disbelief by the ruler and not allowing people to pray.
22- It is forbidden in Islam to declare a caliphate without consensus from all Muslims.
23- Loyalty to one’s nation is permissible in Islam.
24- After the death of the Prophet, Islam does not require anyone to emigrate anywhere.

This really should be posted on Sott.
IMO, it would go a long way to dispel all the myths and lies being perpetrated about the refugees by the msm and the far right.

I think this is a really important piece of communication and needs to be known by everyone. I'd also like to know more about when it was written and who those signatories are, although sott probably mentioned it. It's depressing that the mainstream media didn't make more of this. Too busy promoting problems for Russia and encouraging fear of Moslems around the world, perhaps?

Depressing, yes, but are we surprised given that the mainstream media is, on important matters, the propaganda arm of Western governments who are determined to demonize Muslims?

The letter is hosted at http://www.lettertobaghdadi.com/

There are also about 50 more new signatories.

This should be posted on Sott as well.

Brewer, I really don't know what to say, other than that you manage to defend a guy (Wilders) who openly calls for the imprisonment of all male asylum seekers while making up fear-mongering nonsense about a "sexual jihad" and "sexual terrorism". Plus, if I understood you correctly, you don't like Jews, and at the same time praise the brazenly racist Israel. Then again, it kind of fits, since Israel indeed locks away an entire Muslim population in a huge open-air prison.

Maybe you should focus less on what information you think is missing here and more on the tons of information that IS available here, including in this thread. Then maybe you would also understand more about Putin and his role on the world stage. But then again, if that's your attitude:

Brewer, if you don't care that you're wrong, then you're simply engaging in a very pathological persecution of a group of people simply to satisfy some inherent bloodlust and need to see mass suffering.
You need help.

Joe, you posted this from http://www.lettertobaghdadi.com/. What of it? It's fluff, soothing bromides for the true believers. If you researched the western signatories you'll probably find they have nice little well paid jobs in universities and so forth. BTW, I've studied islam, been invited to convert, have had many conversations with moslems who wished they were never born moslems. You could call me a scholar of islam too. This is pap, twaddle, trouble is, people kill, die and suffer for it.

How sad that you should dismiss something so important as nothing. Just because it doesn't support your racist, emotive ideas.

People should attempt to get their information from the best possible source/s available, and these people are it as far as I can see.

Thanks for the link Joe. When I think of terrorists who 'claim' to be Moslem or followers of Islam, this clearly shows they are the complete opposite.

Some ask why I don't talk about the paedophillia of the church and the entertainment industry. I'm well aware of it but this time I'm discussing islam.

You're on the same wavelength as ISIS, Donald Trump and a bunch of NeoCons. Not a good sign.

Religion doesn't create monsters. It mostly causes people to have self-destructive beliefs and often moves people in stupid and limiting directions. The type of activity you're writing about isn't driven by religion but by disturbed psychology. Certain types might latch onto a particular ideology to express their nature, but in reality the ideology in itself means nothing to them. It doesn't take a whole lot of thought to figure this out, particularly given the resources found on this forum, but it's also easily blocked from view when you're are satisfied with your own perceptions and don't care to learn or go beyond the scope of your own thinking and programs.

The more he shares. The more his hatred spills out. If he doesn’t even cares wherever he is right or not than he is simply not sincerely interested in the truth.

Also goes against the aim of this forum. With the ''final solution'' at the works its obvious where people like this will stand.

this would never have happened if PUTIN was in charge, it would've been rubber bullets, batons, tear gas, dogs, imprisonment and deportation.

He's quite the politician is he not?

he'll skim the cream of Europe for his empire.

He'll also offer assistance to the Germans, they're the ground zero of this psyop and have much to offer his empire.

Probably only works with your mid east dictator types like Ghadaffi, Hussein and Assad.

You could call me a scholar of islam too.

I could call you many things, but you've characterized yourself quite well all by yourself in your rants. Dunning-Kruger strikes again! You know as little about Putin and Russia, Gaddafi, or Assad as you claim to know about Islam and Islamic history, or its peoples.

An article on the compatibility of Islam with modern conceptions of justice and human rights:

"Islam's Path to Modernity" by Mohammad Fazlhashemi (professor of Islamic theology and philosophy at Uppsala University, Sweden) (18 January 2016)
https://www.project-syndicate.org/commentary/islam-sharia-and-human-rights-by-mohammad-fazlhashemi-2016-01?utm_source=Project+Syndicate+Newsletter&utm_campaign=3f28d2791a-Shiller_Economics_Refugee_Crisis_1_24_2016&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_73bad5b7d8-3f28d2791a-98027261

The theologian Ayatollah Mohammad Taqi Fazel Meybodi points out that Islamic law regarding punishment – which includes brutal practices like stoning and amputation – originates from the Old Testament. Islam did not invent these punishments; they were simply the prevailing practices of the time.

As societies progress and evolve, so must the rules and standards that govern them. As the Iranian theologian Mohammad Mojtahed Shabestari of the University of Tehran emphasizes, many of the ideas associated with justice and human rights, as we understand them today, were completely “un-thought” in the pre-modern era. But Muslims cannot simply disregard such ideas on the grounds that humans had not developed them at the time the Quran was written.

With the abandonment of outdated notions of tiered justice and the recognition of the liberty and dignity of all individuals, Shabestari believes that it will become possible to realize the Quran’s message that there should be no compulsion in religion. People’s religious decisions should be driven by their sense of faith, rather than their desire to retain their civil rights.

According to the philosopher Abdolkarim Soroush, this distinction between religious beliefs and civil rights should be obvious. But interpretations of Islamic law have traditionally been so focused on questions about mankind’s various duties that they have failed to recognize it. For Soroush, however, the denial of human rights based on “a person’s beliefs or absence of belief” is undeniably a “crime.”

The school of Muslim thought promoted by these scholars, who come from both Sunni and Shia backgrounds, offers a way forward for Islam. Its adherents know that key Islamic concepts, beliefs, norms, and values can be harmonized with modern social structures and understandings of justice and human rights. By recommending ways to do so, they are reaffirming the durability of the core Islamic tradition. To use the language of the German philosopher Jürgen Habermas, they are creating “saving translations,” whereby a language, conceptual apparatus, and social system is updated to reflect progress in human reason.

I've been told that in Muslim thought there is the concept of the "two Korans." One is obviously the book. The other is the world, itself. So the injunction to "study the Koran" also means to study the world, so the above makes sense to me.

But the story that was making waves on the Russian internet for the past two days was, that a 13 years old girl of Russian origin was kidnapped and raped for 30 hours by a group of refugees, that later released a video admitting to it. German police denies this fact and says that it never happened. Apparently, it was girl's aunt that approached the media directly, after claiming that German authorities are covering up the truth. It is actually quite possible that the story was invented either by the girl herself or the family.

Just the note that this story is still in the Russian news and doesn't lose its momentum. In fact, even Lavrov and Zakharova talked about it and demanded German authorities to start investigating the story. According to the Russian news, German media uses this story to push anti-Russian propaganda and says that this story was invented by Russians in order to ignite anti-refugee chaos.

But yeah, it does seem like Russian media is more anti-refugee than not and constantly mentions other cases of "refugee violence".

What is strange, that the case seems rather confusing and there are all kind of facts that point toward the girl herself inventing it, or at least twisting the facts. She did have real bruises on her afterwards, but German police claims that there is evidence that she was in "seedy" places before and also had sex before. And that even if sex was consensual, the other side could go to jail for up to 3 years. So perhaps that's another good reason to blame refugees. It's possible that she was also threatened or coerced to lie.

Also, one would expect German authorities to actually look for cases to blame the refugees and kick them out. But here they are supposedly see no connection to refugees, and it's the Russian side that screams "rape-fugees".

Looks like the more likely scenario for me, at least based on what's been reported so far:

http://fortruss.blogspot.ca/2016/01/berlin-prosecutor-states-their-version.html
The heroine who became the center of an international scandal, a 13-year-old resident of Berlin with Russian roots - Lisa, spent a night at her friends, reports RIA Novosti quoting the representative of the Berlin Prosecutor - Martin Steltner.

"We were able to recover data from the girl's mobile phone, which led to a certain person that we have been able to identify. This 19-year-old man, a German citizen, a German, is a friend of hers. She was looking for him, so to speak, for asylum. This shows, obviously, there are problems at school," said Steltner.

As was declared in the office of public Prosecutor of Berlin, the police found some things of Lisa's in the young man's apartment, who is living with his mother. The boy and his mother are currently listed as witnesses, but are not accused of anything. However, as was noted by Steltner, the young man did not tell his mother that Lisa is only 13 years old. The woman thought that the girl was older.

"We conducted a search of the witnesses, interviewed them, they told us what happened – we reason to doubt. We have no indications of sexual contact, or indications of a sexual offence", — said the representative of the Prosecutor's office.

However, he stressed that the situation with the other 19-year-old girl friend and the investigation of two other suspects are two totally different things. Currently the Prosecutor's office continues to check previously detained people who may be involved in the disappearance of Lisa.

Earlier in the report, the TV channel "Russia 1", according to the aunt of the girl, spoke about the kidnapping and rape of the child migrant. The police of Berlin, after some time, declared that there was no rape or abduction, and were not releasing any details.

As was reported by RIA Novosti, the girl got German citizenship at the Russian Embassy in Berlin.

The Russian Foreign Minister, Sergey Lavrov, said that the investigation of the sexual crime must triumph, and stressed that information about the incident has, for unknown reasons, long disappeared from the German authorities. He also expressed hope that Germany will manage to overcome the crisis with the influx of migrants, "without significant losses". In response, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier has accused Lavrov of meddling in the internal affairs of Germany.

On Wednesday, Steinmeier said that the German Foreign Ministry will give the Russian Ambassador to the Federal Republic of Germany the necessary information in connection with the incident.

It's beyond me why so many people seem willing to swallow this entire 'rapefugee' scenario. Could it be that we've really been conditioned enough that the image of Muslims ganging up to sexually assault Europe can be taken seriously? Russian media, Western media, alternative media - they all seem to be falling for this cruel propaganda. But where is this kind of outcry when the BBC is implicated in the West's rape culture? Or when people are sexually assaulted during Germany's Oktoberfest? How many people caught in this uproar find it quite easy to brush all of that under the rug?

On ZeroHedge they published an article showing a refugee boy having a mental breakdown after what looks like (to me) he was bullied by a refugee camp worker. They seemed to weight the article towards the accusation that he was 'making it up':

In the video, one of the refugee youths is seen pleading with the worker “please, please, please”, before the worker erupts in anger.

“You have a problem with me?” the youth then asks, getting closer, before he begins shrieking, "fight me! fight me! fight me!" and then breaks down screaming and sobbing uncontrollably on the floor.

[...]
The worker told Swedish Radio that a disturbance had broken out shortly before the video was recorded which had forced him and other staff members to lock themselves in their rooms.

He claimed that the man filmed apparently undergoing a nervous breakdown was the ringleader of the refugee youth, and was faking his apparent anguish for the camera.

If this boy was making it up, he sure is a great actor. He plays the part of a young man far from home, confused, and lost in a racist society that sees him as nothing more than a potential rapist very well. A bunch of cruel, psychopathic idiots, if you ask me!

Seems like she invented the whole story.

A 13-year-old Russian-German girl has admitted making up a story about being kidnapped and raped by migrants in a case that triggered a furore in Germany and briefly embroiled Berlin police in a spat with the Kremlin, state prosecutors said.

The parents of the teenager, named only as Lisa, reported her missing on 11 January after she failed to appear at school in the Marzahn district of the capital. She reappeared 30 hours later with injuries on her face, and told her parents she had been attacked by men of Middle Eastern or north African appearance. News of the incident spread on social media, sparking outrage among Berlin’s Russian-German community.

But when she was questioned by trained specialists three days later “she immediately admitted that the story of the rape was not true”, said the spokesman for the state prosecutor, Martin Steltner.

He said the teenager had been scared of going home after the school had contacted her parents over an incident at school.

Yet the allegations caused uproar in Berlin, particularly after reports of mass sexual assaults allegedly carried out by migrants in Cologne. A Russian-German community group staged a protest, supported by the Pegida-related Bärgida movement. The far-right National Democratic party also demonstrated in Marzahn.

The mood was exacerbated by a report on Russian state TV, in which the girl’s relatives claimed her allegations were not being investigated.

The Russian foreign minister, Sergei Lavrov, also weighed in to criticise the Berlin authorities. “The news that she disappeared was kept secret for a very long time,” he told a press conference, blaming “political correctness”.

Analysis of the teenager’s mobile phone records showed she had spent the night with a friend, who is not being treated as a suspect.

Her mother told Der Spiegel magazine on Sunday that Lisa was “doing very badly” and was having treatment in a psychiatric ward.

The fascist state emerges as a response to the assaults. It's really beyond me how this incident was blown up in the media to such an extend that people are so worried they welcome more police and surveillance...

Authorities double Cologne carnival police numbers in effort to ensure safety

New chief promises heavy police presence on ‘women’s carnival day’ to avoid repeat of widespread muggings and sexual assaults on New Year’s Eve

Authorities in Cologne have vowed to do everything in their power to make sure the city’s famous carnival is not blighted by a repeat of the violence seen on New Year’s Eve.

The city’s new police chief, Jürgen Mathies, said on Monday that more than 2,000 officers would work 12-hour shifts alongside 350 cadets to guarantee safety on the streets during the “women’s carnival day” (Weiberfastnacht) on Thursday, twice as many officers as were employed in 2015.

Video surveillance would also be increased, said Mathies, whose predecessor resigned after the scale of the New Year’s Eve assaults became apparent in early January.

More than 1,000 people have since filed criminal complaints, including about 433 women alleging sexual assault. Some of the victims have jointly filed a single complaint, so that the number of alleged crimes stands at more than 750, of which more than 380 are sexual offences, including at least three rapes.
Cologne police are investigating 43 suspects in connection with the incidents, the majority of whom are Moroccan or Algerian. Nine of the suspects are currently in prison.

The organisers of the Cologne carnival have published a leaflet for refugees that explains the customs of the tradition, warning non-Germans not to worry if they meet locals wearing historic soldier uniforms. “Their guns are only made of wood, and are only loaded with flowers – every single one a small expression of colourful, peaceful coexistence,” it reads.

Marking the last Thursday before Lent, Cologne’s Weiberfastnacht traditionally sees women dressed in colourful costumes frequenting the streets and bars of the city, pecking strangers on the cheek and playing practical jokes, such as cutting off ties. The “crazy days” of carnival peak with a procession of floats on the following Monday.

Cologne’s mayor, Henriette Reker, said she had “not the slightest concern” that people would not be able to celebrate carnival as usual, while also admitting that “one can never provide a guarantee for 100% safety”.

In an interview with Die Welt newspaper, Reker also said she regretted the phrasing of her controversial suggestion that women “keep at arm’s length” from strangers to avoid harassment.

“It would have been more sensible to say in that press conference that I was talking about New Year’s Eve and nothing else,” the mayor said. The remark about keeping strangers “at arm’s length” had been a quote from a brochure for young women, Reker said.

“That’s something that every good mother would tell her daughter when she leaves the house. You can’t do schunkeln [swaying from side to side with locked arms, another Cologne carnival custom] at arm’s length either, I know that. I’m a Cologne girl, after all,” Reker said.

Would be interesting to somehow get the data on how many people traveled from Israel to Germany in the last couple of months. Or Israeli nationals from the US to Germany for example. Especially with diplomatic passports. I mean, just take a Israeli, get him in the corresponding clothes, let him be unshaven for a couple of days, and you get a nice Syrian.
