Nigel Farage: Summary

Initially i was inquiring as to whether there were any further details regarding exactly why we were 'doomed', i'm aware of the potential ice-age weather and potential for upheavel in the towns and cities (i just moved from the London to a small village with this in mind), but i wondered if there was anything else in particular that i had missed; like a comment from the C's or something.

Laura's quote about "the doomed island" can be found in this thread in the Swamp:

I see that you have over 50 posts, itellsya, so you will be able to read it. It is more a personal question and assessment, as far as I know, the Cs haven't said anything about the UK in that regard.

About the thread itself, I will give an update shortly.

Thank you MT, very kind of you to bring that to my attention; i see we had similar reactions! Which makes it even the more helpful and.. reassuring considering there are similar ideas being discussed by other POHMs* (never has that saying rang so true). I will definitely follow the discussion and wish you all the best till then.

Fwiw, i've been contemplating my escape for a while and have been slowly learning Spanish as a compliment to those aims that as of now are still in the planning stage. Although i am open to most mainland Europe destinations, i picked Spanish for a number of reasons. Either way i have remembered that i really enjoy the challenge of learning another language.

It is quite a recent occurrence that i have had the opportunity to discuss these topics amongst colinear thinkers, since joining the forum, it feels very real and all the more urgent. :scared:

*Prisoners of her majesty - first time i heard this was from Australians and i didn't really get it. As an aside, during the queens jubilee i went out with a big group of friends and found myself in what can only be described as a bizarre argument over the validity of the royal family! What was alll the more shocking for me was that these people were 20-35 years old, 'cool', and they were vehement in their opinions (as was i ;D )

Farage & UKIP - other than the English defence league and the British national party, are there any other options for the disaffected English to vote for? The Greens?? The EDL & BNP are extreme and so you are left with UKIP, this has me thinking they are just another vector, tptb know they need to have a 'release valve' so they set up the controlled opposition. That the papers are attacking Farage could be an attempt to incite the British trait of 'supporting the under dog', of which the affairs and 'minor infringements' to law are intended to support. More speculation from me :)

I wanted to comment on the acceleration that i have been observing in the UK, which i think is exemplified in the push for Fracking. Having seen the proposed map it leaves no area on the UK map untouched. And the damage of Fracking is not limited to the council boundaries. They recently attempted to sneak through the 'proposals' in our village but thankfully a group of mature ladies caught wind and took up the challenge, were it not for them, few people would have known about it, including me. There would have been less people attending the village meetings and without a doubt they'd be drilling right now. I also found out at the meeting that the local marshes have lots of unidentified toxic waste dumped there.

I bring it up - sorry Farage! - because as has been mentioned, 'they' are behaving as if it's 'the last chance' they'll have to do such things. I mentioned my local Conservative MP was outed for buying drugs and rent boys, and surprise surprise, he had a say in approving the Fracking in the town a few miles up from me (Blackpool/St Annes) which currently has a drill in action, it was contested but as is England, people are dispersed and rarely get together as a community, osit. Unsurprisingly, the very beach which hosts the Frack well has been deemed unfit for humans; i snapped the newspaper sign yesterday which declared it so. However it has never been known as the safest/cleanest beach, infact the NW coast near me is often deemed unfit.

Telegraph headline
"Among those likely to be ruled too polluted for bathing are popular resorts such as East Looe and Penzance in Cornwall, Lyme Regis in Dorset, Blackpool in Lancashire, and Southsea in Hampshire."

Should they have their way, most of the water ways will end up polluted, and if the flooding and swells this winter are anything to go by, the wells will flood (as in the US).

Finally, the local government and their fluoride propaganda; even though a protest in 2011 defeated it being added to the water supply, the fluoride fans have a begun a fresh campaign in 2014 which i saw in the news the other month....

Ok, so apologies if it seems i'm going on. A question we could ask is: What are Farage's opinions on these issues? If he has one. And if not, does he deserve any support?

Well I do know that Farage stated in his TV debate with Clegg that he thought Nuclear Power was clean and was the way to go.....it would be worth you watching that debate itellsya.

Hm fracking - I think that i've red somewhere that some experts realized that it is not profitable at all. So i'm wondering if real agenda could be hiding Earth's changes (the opening up): "Nothing unusual those jolts are due to fracking! Continue as normal!

About Farage he is promoted all over as respectable euro-skeptic, but Cameron also promised a referendum on leaving EU... with fingers crossed i guess. So they are talking the same mantra - but Farage is just jostling more... Maybe there are some real strategies behind that role play: if it is in plans of PTB for UK to be separated from EU for some reason, why not play on that card

Mind you, if Nigel & Co. have their way and pull us out of the EU you wouldn't have the right to live in Spain! ;)

Nah, I don't trust him one little bit. I have now read and watched pro UKiP stuff, read and watched anti UKiP stuff and still, I don't trust him or any of our politicians. At all.

Watched 'em come....seen 'em go....! It seems like they have given up trying to find ther best policies, just the best "sound bites"
