Hi Jerry,
Hmmm. Where to start. I have known Laura for about 10 years or so. I have always found her to be quite articulate and her research to be as thorough as any I have seen, if not more so. She has never been one to take, well anything, at face value without extensive research. She is certainly not mainstream, but then again, her investigations of what goes on behind the scenes in the world has rattled an angry cage(s). As an example you well know, just look at the people and research in the free energy arena, that seems to disappear when something truly anomalous appears.
One very common way to try and eliminate those asking too many questions is ad hominem attacks. She gets those quite frequently and when she looks into the background of those making the accusations, she has found a lot of shady dealings in the accusers. She has written some enlightening pieces documenting the tactics and people. "Cult" and "wacko" seem to be commonly used terms that seem to get passed on and on, that other people pick up because it has been repeated so often. As they say, a lie said often enough becomes the truth. You've certainly run into that in your travels or should I say, travails. In fact, way back when, it was the Keelynet site where I first came across this type of "counter intelligence". Also in fact, Keelynet is where I first heard of Laura knight before Sott.net, before her moving to France, before she auctioned her house for less than it was worth (and no, she did not keep the house).
With sott.net, she has many researchers run it. Many of the articles, including the Tesla one, are often reprints of articles found elsewhere. Usually, below the title of the article, is the source reference. How much truth or fiction in the Tesla article there is, I don't know. Duncan may be quite correct about the story being unprovable. I just thought it was interesting and thought provoking, so I thought I would share it with you for you and your readers discrimination.
It seems that Duncan has had some run-ins with Laura and sott.net:

http://www.sott.net/articles/show/207531-Snake-Oil-Humbles-Nexus-Conference
Whatever their differences, I don't have a dog in that fight. Nexus seems to have some interesting non mainstream articles on their website on topics that are also found on sott.net.
Anyway, everyone has to make their own decisions and do their own discrimination when reading, well anything, on the internet (if its in print is must be true, right?) So, I thought I would pass along my two cents worth. I like Lauras no nonsense attitude in her research. I like yours as well, that's why I keep coming back to read both of your sites, for what its worth.
Steve
