Updated Flu message

Hello. This is an important message from the * Public Schools with updated information from the Health department about the flu. Parent and caregivers please check all family members, especially school-age children, for symptoms of the flu. The following is a flu-symptom checklist to help you:
Does your child have a sore throat, bad cough, or runny nose?

Does your child have body aches or chills?

Does your child have vomiting or diarrhea?

Does your child have a fever of 100 degrees or more?

If you answered yes to two or more questions, your child might have the flu. Keep your child home for seven days after symptoms start even if their symptoms end sooner. Students and staff members who are still sick at 7 days should continue to stay home from school until at least 24 hours after they have completely recovered.
Call your healthcare provider if your child is sick enough that you would normally see a doctor, has trouble breathing or is not drinking enough fluids. Please call the * Public Information Office at *.* if you need additional information or assistance. Thank you.
