Dear Natsu,

I am a reader of the Signs-of-the-times.org forum. Your article ‘Now is the Time to Speak Out! The Regents and Ward Churchill’, which appeared on Signs news today, goes to the very heart of matter to what degree American Higher Educational System is already ponerized. Such paralegalistic accusations as used to marginalize Professor Chirchill to silence his political dissent should never be allowed to surface in a psychologically sane society. Professor Chirchill’s firing abstentious attempts by administration of University of Colorado just demonstrates that the cancerous germ of pathocracy already penetrated the very heart of American spirituality and thought – its Universities. It is evidenced in case brought by pathological today’s system against ‘dissident’ Norman Finkelstein, against Ward Chirchill, and these are just two names from American citadels of thought appeared in news in the recent 24 hours.
Neoconservative psychological deviants, which by the way of deception laid their way to the highest power positions in US power structure laid their cancerous semen in educational system and now what we deal with are abundant cancerous sprouts proliferating here and there in Universities. Such cancerous societal system, devoid of moral restraints imposed by conscience of human beings eats itself because germs, causing cancer to American society don’t realize that germs that they are destined to die together with organism, they currently prey and parasitize on, if society doesn’t recognize timely and apply sanitation antibiotics to remove these society germs.
Polish clinical psychologist Andrew Lobaczewski in his groundbreaking book ‘Political Ponerology. The Study of Evil adjusted to Political Purposes’ presented in-depth study of worldwide phenomenon of psychopathy-in-power, and the mechanisms of society ponerization processes imposed on society by a gang of humanoid psychopaths, devoid of conscience and empathy per se.

Lobaczewski wrote: ‘The ponerogenesis of macrosocial phenomena – large scale evil – which constitutes the most important object of this book, appears to be subject to the same laws of nature that operate within human questions on an individual or small-group level. The role of persons with various psychological defects and anomalies of a clinically low level appears to be a perennial characteristic of such phenomena. In the macrosocial phenomenon we shall later call ‘pathocracy’, a certain hereditary anomaly isolated as ‘essential psychopathy’ is catalytically and causatively essential for the genesis and survival of large scale social evil.’
[…] Understanding the nature of macrosocial pathological phenomena permits us to find a healthy attitude and perspective toward them, thus assisting us in protecting our minds from being poisoned by their diseased contents and the influence of their propaganda. […] The bottom line is that we can only conquer this huge, contagious social cancer if we comprehend its essence and its etiological causes. This would eliminate the mystery of this phenomenon as its primary survival asset. Ignota nulla curatio morbid!’

‘the evidence has established that all of the charges investigated were solicited or invented by University administrators. None were filed by the allegedly aggrieved parties.
The specific charges against Ward have been debunked. Recently, fifteen professors and two attorneys filed two sets of formal research misconduct allegations against the
investigative committee which wrote the report used to justify sanctions. These illustrate that the committee members were so determined to convict Ward that they engaged in falsification and fabrication of evidence, twisting the facts to fit their conclusions. In addition, CU Professor Tom Mayer has exposed the pretextual nature of the so-called plagiarism charges.’

Lobaczewski dissected psychological methods applied by negligible minority of various types of psychological deviants in society to steadily subjugate normal psychologically healthy individuals and lead to ponerization of society as a whole:

-- Contagious and wide-spread usage of paramoralisms
from Cassiopedia.org:
A paramoralism is a linguistic device of persuasion. It is an argument or line of reasoning which is pitched so as to appear to be driven by ethical concerns, yet under scrutiny it completely fails to do this and is in fact driven by self-interest or by an adherence to a system of rules in which matters of conscience are disregarded. A general purpose example would be: breaking of the 'spirit of the law', in order to stick to the 'letter of the law'.
A Paramoralism is a psychologically contagious phenomenon: the person on the receiving end is vulnerable to wrongly ascribing a principle or motivation (that he readily identifies with) to the argument given, and thereby becomes mistakenly identified with this flawed argument. In this way, a well meaning individual can be misled into unwittingly supporting a cause, or propagating an ideology with which his own conscience disagrees.
The widespread use of paramoralism in society is a defining trait of a pathocracy.
Lobaczewski wrote: 'Paramoralistic statements and suggestions so often accompany various kinds of evil that they seem quite irreplaceable. Unfortunately, it has become a frequent phenomenon for individuals, opressive groups, or patho-political systems to invent ever-new moral criteria for someone's convenience. Such suggestions often partially deprive people of their moral reasoning and deform its development in youngsters. Paramoraloism factories have been founded worldwide, and a ponerologist finds it hard to believe that they are managed by psychologically normal people.'

-- Reversive blocade –
Lobaczewski wrote: 'Reversive blocade: Emphatically insisting upon something which is the opposite of the truth blocks the average person’s mind from perceiving the truth. In accordance with the dictates of healthy common sense, he starts searching for meaning in the ‘golden mean’ between the truth and its opposite, winding up with some satisfactory counterfeit. People who think like this do not realize that this effect is precisely the intent of the person who subjects them to this method. If the counterfeit of the truth is the opposite of moral truth, at the same time, it simultaneously represents an extreme paramoralism, and bears its peculiar suggestiveness.
We rarely see this method being used by normal people; even if raised by the people who abused it: they usually only indicate its results in their characteristic difficulties in apprehending reality properly. Use of this method can be included within the above-mentioned special psychological knowledge developed by psychopaths concerning the weaknesses of human nature and the art of leading others into error. While they [pathocracy] are in rule this method s used with virtuosity, and to an extent conterminous with their power.

--Information selection and substitution.
Lobaczewski wrote: 'The most complex process of this type is substitution of premises thus eliminated by other data, ensuring an ostensibly more comfortable conclusion. Our associative ability rapidly elaborates a new item to replace the removed one, but it is one leading to a comfortable conclusion. […] Such substitutions are often affected collectively, in certain groups of people, through the use of verbal communication. That is why they best qualify for the moralizing epithet ‘hypocrisy’ than either of the above-mentioned processes.
[…] People who have lost their psychological hygiene and capacity of proper thought along this road also loose their natural critical faculties with regard to the statements and behavior of individuals whose abnormal thought processes were formed on a substratum of pathological anomalies, whether inherited or acquired. Hypocrisies stop differentiating between pathological and normal individuals, thus opening an ‘infection’ entry’ for the ponerologc role of pathological factors.
Generally, each community contains people in whom similar methods of thinking were developed on a large scale, with their various deviations as a back drop. We find this both in characteropathic and psychopathic personalities. Some have even been influenced by others to grow accustomed to such ‘reasoning’, since conversion thinking is highly contagious and can spread through an entire society. In ‘happy times’ especially, the tendency for conversion thinking is generally intensifies. It appears accompanied by a rising wave of hysteria in said society. Those who try to maintain common sense and proper reasoning finally wind up in the minority, feeling wronged because their human right to maintain psychological hygiene is violated by pressure from all sides. This means that unhappy times are not far away.
We should point out that the erroneous thought processes described herein also, as a rule, violate the laws of logic with characteristic treachery. [...] This decreasing tendency in a society’s capacity for proper thought should be counteracted, since it also lowers its immunity to ponerogenic processes. An effective measure would be teaching both proper thought and skillful detection of errors in thought. The front of such education should be expanded, including psychology, psychopathology, and the science described herein, for the purpose of raising people who can easily detect any paralogism.'

-- Spellbinders
Lobaczewski wrote: 'In order to comprehend ponerogenic pathways of contagion, especially those acting in a wider social context, let us observe the roles and personalities of individuals we shall call ‘spellbinders’. Who are highly active in this area in spite of their statistically negligible number.
[…] Spellbinders are characterized by pathological egotism. Such a person is forced to make an early choice between two possibilities: the first is forcing other people to think and experience things in a manner similar to his own; the second is a feeling of being lonely and different, a pathological misfit in a social life. Sometimes the choice is either snake-charming or suicide.
Triumphant repression of self-critical or unpleasant concepts from the fields of consciousness gradually gives rise to the phenomena of conversive thinking, or paralogistics, paramoralisms, and the use of reverse blockades. […] The ideology’s instrumental role in influencing other people also serves the spellbinder’s needs.
The spellbinder believes that he will always find converts to his ideology, and most often, they are right. However, they feel shock (or even paramoral indignation) when it turns out that their influence extends to only a limited minority, while most people’s attitude to their activities remains critical, pained and disturbed. The spellbinder is then confronted with a choice: either withdraw back into his void or strengthen his position by improving the effectiveness of his activities.
The spellbinder places on a high moral plane anyone who has succumbed to his influence and incorporated the experiential method he imposes. He showers such people with attention and property, if possible. Critics are met with ‘moral’ outrage. It can even be proclaimed that the compliant minority is in fact the moral majority, since it professes the best ideology and honors a leader whose qualities are above average.
Such activity is always necessarily characterized by the inability to foresee its final results, something obvious from the psychological point of view because its substratum contains pathological phenomena, and both spellbinding and self-charming make it impossible to perceive reality accurately enough to foresee results logically. However, spellbinders nurture great optimism and harbor visions of future triumphs similar to those they enjoyed over their own crippled souls. It is also possible for optimism to be a pathological symptom.
In a healthy society, the activities of spellbinders meet with criticism effective enough to stifle them quickly. However, when they are preceded by conditions operating destructively upon common sense and social order; such as social injustice, cultural backwardness, or intellectually limited rulers sometimes manifesting pathological traits, spellbinders’ activities have led entire societies into large scale human tragedy.
[…] It is a characteristic phenomenon that a high IQ generally helps a person to be more immune to spellbinding activities only to a moderate degree.’

American ponerization still has an ultra-thin layer of illusive (or non-existent?) deceptive ‘democracy’and ‘respect for human rights’ while it’s steaming full speed into overt tyranny. Soviet pathocracy under Lenin – Stalin when dissident voices like that of Professor Chirchill were silenced forever just with one shot in the back of a head often in a matter of one night and after a single anonymous letter should serve as a terrifying example to American society as how pathocracy devours society at-large and affects everyone when it starts operating as an overt tyranny.
I heard from my grandfather the story of it, as, no matter how ironically it may sound, the onset of WWII literally saved his life - he was arrested and waited for tribunal (although he wasn't in a military) only because he refused to sign a letter based on false fabricated information that would permit to prosecute one of his colleages (and his friend). He was literally sitting waiting for tribunal when the war broke and only because he was a qualified engineer he had been released from a would-be death-row. He then was building Soviet Tank-34 plants in Siberia. Nazi pathocracy fighting Soviet pathocracy - the result is that 60 million humans dead

Lobaczewski book draws a map of ponerization infection spreading in the body of society and how to perform a proper psychological sanitation of society infected by psychopathic germs.
