Obama special statement - Osama bin Laden 'dead'...

My take is that this is the PTB's way of declaring the War on Terror over and won. They are setting up Obama to have "won" this like Reagan was set up to "win" the Cold War. That means they are moving to a new phase. Also it seems the WOT may have outlived it's usefullness. They made tons of money, instituted police state measures, perfected techniques and technologies. Maybe the natural disasters are imminent.

This does appear plausible. We have already been experiencing several major disasters around the world, such as epic floods, big earthquakes, more volcanic activity, etc., etc., and perhaps these are the precursors to the really big-league events that are imminent, and we must keep in mind that the PTB probably have technology years and years more advanced then what’s on main street; as such, they would be acutely aware of these upcoming mega catastrophes, and the possible ensuing chaos, riots and stampeding. What better way to keep the sheepie contained, asleep and manageable by having them rally around the Grand Old Flag. Of course, those that squawk and protest, attempt to keep the 9/11 truth movement alive, or otherwise don’t follow the “new” more restrictive rules will magically disappear into FEMA death camps.

But there are umpteen possibilities here, as already pointed out here by other posters, so we’ll just have to “wait and see,” and “pay strict attention.” And be ready to jump in the right direction when the time comes.

What strikes me as interesting is the apparent "timetable" of the announcement. Aside from the interesting fact that it was done on May Day, it seems that there was some urgency for some reason. I mean, geeze, late at night? When was the last time you heard of a president making some kind of announcement like that so late at night? Or any kind of announcement?

Need to have simply a good drama, no ?

fwiw (and this is pure speculation) the sudden timing of the 'event' plus the above info.....what if they've been waiting for a comet to hit, and this is the back/cover story?

The PTB spot incoming comets and track impact probabilities to 'high', so announce 'Osama bin laden dead' -> revenge announced (to reinforce wiki leaks info) -> nukes across Europe/America (that happen to be comets - but who'd know the difference?) -> clamp downs and government 'taking charge' in the aftermath....we can all blame 'terrorists' for it.

This might just be another example of news people speaking 'gibberish', or maybe it is because it is hard to keep everything straight when one is lying, and what's more, knows darn well they are lying.

The PTB and the media are pushing the 'Americans are all one' line very vigorously. Are they testing to see how many will rally to the 'call', ten years after 911? It's quite probable, I think, that Americans are being set up for something very nasty in continental USA. Another 'terrorist' attack on US soil and the people will acquiesce to whatever the PTB have in store for them.

Yes, we were talking about the Canadian elections last night, when the announcements of Osama's death came up. They could be related, no doubt, the first thing however that came to my mind was the Gaddafi family murders. They had no reason whatsoever to attack the family house and kill all those people, children included, just a couple of days away. But showing the burning twin towers justifies anything that America/NATO does abroad.

Re: Bin Laden post mortem photos???

Does anyone else find it a bit odd that the psychopaths haven't plastered Bin Laden's death photos all over the news and internet yet? (Besides the one photo that is a proven fake; it's a composite of two photos) I mean, Uday and Qusay photos were all over. This just strikes me as a bit odd. If they did in fact kill him over the weekend, one would think they would want their trophy displayed for all to see.

Had a similar thought, and perhaps that's why it was done in such a hurry.

It's a tactic of dealing with intimidation or a threat of revealing potentially embarrassing data by disclosing the harming information themselves. But of course, they won't tell the truth but will offer their own version of events. And when it is done in such a dramatic and sudden manner, especially with all the hoopla going on around it, including new "threat of retaliation", who will pay attention to those who try to tell a different story. But who knows if this tactic won't backfire.
