Occupy Wall Street Video Project

Thanks for the advice SeekinTruth, but I don't seem to be able to fix it now. :-[ I cannot see a function to edit it.
Thanks Masamune for sharing. Please all share it far and wide.

You can click on your account name in the upper right corner and choose "video manager". Then you can click under your video "edit info". There you can change the description.

Wow they came out awesome. Nice Editing Fifth!!!! I felt like I was stumbling over my words at the time and I was a little nervous about how it would come across but I think it totally works. Now to make it go viral...

Done. Thank you.

Hey Puck,

You came out like dynamite. My editor's comment was: "Wow, this guy knows what he is talking about." I couldn't agree more :cool2: :cool2: :cool2:

Heh now we just need twenty million views...

If everyone can "like" the video and share it on facebook, email it around, put it on their blog, send it to alternative media sites maybe we can help nudge it into the mass consciousness.

Is anyone else having trouble with the audio? The music drowns out the vocal audio, so I can barely hear Puck - might it be my computer?

Posted to Reddit here: _http://www.reddit.com/r/worldnews/comments/ngexd/occupy_psychopaths_1_ows_vs_the_pathology_of_the_1/

and I made a twitter account to post it there, the account name is cyre2067 if you're on that.

@Anart - The audio comes across fine on my laptop, the music sounds more background then anything else.

Nice job everyone! Puck, you did great and it came across as from the heart with a lot of insight about our real problems in the world.

Have you tried external speakers, Anart?

I think that's the issue actually, I have a big 6 external speaker 5.1 surround stereo, subwoofer and all that nonsense set up so it's a setting in there that's bringing out the background music too much. It doesn't do it on other videos though, so it must be something about this video, but I can tinker with it to fix it. Just glad everyone else can hear him clearly from the get go.

Fine over here. I don't think others had that problem either. I will upload it on Vimeo also at some point.

You should be able to go to the audio settings in your media program, and adjust the equaliser?

Yep, already did - sorry that wasn't clear.

Re: Occupy Wall Street Video Project

Very cool guys!! :cool2:

Just some thoughts!:

Regarding a long informational video, you might want to take into account that most people's attention span isn't so long and when people usually follow what is being said, mostly what is remembered is what was said in the beginning and/or at the end. What I think could help with helping a video go viral, and to stimulate attention is to add some ''diversity'' in the video, for example you could have added short videos in between of other OWS people describing their thoughts of how they think of their leaders, how their (in)actions has affected them personally etc, and then go back to what Puck is saying about psychopathy, making it fluent that way. I'm not sure if you've seen the video of Ottershrew giving a presentation on spiritual breathing, but as an example, in that video you can see that after a certain amount of time of Ottershrew talking and explaining, a short segment of a person having practiced the program (expressing her/his thoughts) comes up, and then Ottershrew continues. So this is what I mean with adding a bit more variation in the video, it could help with supporting people's attention and might help with making things more believable. Of course this is just one example. But really!! These are just my thoughts and I could be totally off in this.

My other thoughts are that I enjoyed both videos and I think both men were really good at presenting and explaining! It was very fluent, natural, made sense and very well edited. Keep it up!!
