OCD = STS

I think Laura's definition is quite succinct. I've been living with an individual with OCD for the last few months. He moved in after developing lymphatic cancer. As a result of his behaviour, his wife asked him to leave. Unfortunate at the time of developing cancer. He asked me for help and I have provided him a place to live and I support his unusual dietary requirements unlike his entire family who want him to have chemotherapy and do the whole modern medicine thing. He and I don't agree with that course.

He was hard to live with because of certain phobias, but he noticed a dramatic improvement in his condition after a month of living here. He has now moved up onto the Sunshine Coast to look for work. Good luck to him and I hope his health continues to improve.

On another point made. I think 3D student thinks approximately half the people in the world are STS. The Cs have said we all are fundamentally STS including 3D student. You can't escape that fact. Its a matter of realising this and adjusting one's life accordingly. We wouldn't be here if we weren't STS....whether that irks people or not.

I want to begin a thread like this one regarding alien abductions that result in human mutilation. I have an idea regarding this I wish to vet on this site. Its so good for feedback.

I think 3D Student gets it. In his initial post he wrote:

First we have what is said of the STS polarity. STS is the half of creation moving into imbalance, disorder, chaos, entropy, non-being, selfishness, black holes, primal matter, etc.
So it was like a double whammy to first know that we are all STS beings here, but also that my personal struggle is defined as the epitome of STS.

The thing about STS and labeling OCD as STS was kind of me not fully grasping the deal I think, as I was kind of new. I was thinking in black and white terms, and judging myself, which I still do sometimes. I know we can only be STS, but the things that OCD makes you do don't seem to increase your STO potential, with a big part being fear. And it does increase pathological behaviors.

Yes. Fear as I understand it, is generated in the reptile brain (the R-complex) and that part of the brain can dominate and override all other parts of the brain when it kicks in during some perceived emergency. No other brain area has this ability to 'take over'. The reptile brain is also responsible for STS thinking and exists at the base of the brain stem above the spinal cord. This is the area that the Cs say was altered to some extent.

To challenge the STS influences in all of us, I think it is important to learn to take control away from this area. It is significant that the reptilians organise our lives to be full of fear, presumably so that this part of the brain remains active and potentially in control.

I think most of the exercises and methods of thinking pursued on this forum are designed to circumvent, to a large extent, the reptile brain. I have been using audio visual synthesizers and brainwave entrainment to accomplish this end.

That reminds me of these threads I saw recently: this and this. The 110 hz thing I have been pondering a little. I find it pretty interesting.

Yes that is very interesting. I have a lot of software with the ability to replicate all sorts of sounds and frequencies. I've been creating music with these ideas in mind. The music has embedded beats and other natural sounds including indigenous Australian music. The result is amazing and could be defined as shamanistic. I have had good feedback from friends who have listened and meditated to the music. It would not be difficult to incorporate 110hz beats into a meditative creation.

Have you tried the Eiriu Eolas program?
