Thank you, everyone, for your kind words of support.
Your sentiments mean a lot since, in my life as the manager of a bookstore, I often feel like the demands of profit motives and "keeping everyone happy" usurp my energy and marginalize my free-flowing creative expression. I still maintain some personal creative time (and I am working toward creating a lifestyle which is healthier and more expressive), but it's not often shared with others. So, thank you again...
de-tached, very nice. It's great to be able to connect the work wih art and find the backroads and bumps in yourself as you work. It is inspiring. Thanx:)
Well De-tached, it's always good when someone has "butterflies in their stomach" before showing art. It means that you're willing to let your Inside show and that's always a moment of self-discovery. Shows creativity and risk-taking and that is why we're all here. Thanks.
Don't Forget to Fly, I really loved how the whole thing seemed to play on perspective?/dimension?/angle (I'm not sure how to properly translate my mundane thoughts into the correct artistic jargon, forgive me). The rainbow waterfall is amazing in many ways.
Light in face of Dark/1st one, the bottom of the axial skeleton morphing up curving around into the arm and then back for the face was reeeaaallly cool. I'm into anatomy and such, so I thought that was a suuper cool effect.
Oh, I like to see people's artwork! Very impressive and creativem De-tached. Drawing is an extension of really seeing, whether outward or inward. Have courage. :)
