Picture Puzzle - Spot the eight differences

Guardian !

you found nine ?!

*** Spoiler Follows***
did you count the changes to the color on the white truck as two changes ?
:)

No, I counted the truck as one.

I'm seriously questioning why this topic is even ON this forum. A little fun is okay, but this really is silly. Giving a link to a puzzle website is one thing, taking up the time and space on this forum is another.

Laura,

a little fun + a visual exercise is what was meant, but if this is not appropriate then maybe it should be taken down ?
:/

You know, TP, some of us on the "front line" taking the hits for everybody else, are a bit cranky at constantly having to do that, PLUS do the lion's share of the work and it just sorta rubs the wrong way when we are sitting under threat and so much needs to be done, and so few are doing it - instead, just playing games.

See?

Although the saying goes like "It's lonely at the top", I think it will be even more lonely at the vanguard of things you are exploring for us and with us.
So being a little 'grumpish' at times seems fully understandable to me. ;)

i'm sorry that this is the case. i don't know what more to say :-[
i will not participate in this stretch of the forum anymore.. ?

Edit: typo.

maybe it's just you said you will take care of the "studies to give to your doctor" thread and instead you spend much time in anything else...

my two cents

That's exactly why I do puzzles, it's a break from the hard stuff, but useful too. I especially like the "compare the pictures" ones, they're similar to the "what's changed in this room" mental games I play with myself. However, if yawl think they're inappropriate for this forum, I apologize for my contribution to the thread.

Maybe it's just me being cranky. My left knee blew out yesterday and I couldn't sleep last night for the pain. It was taped all day yesterday - no relief - put pure DMSO on it last night and it only helped a little. Plus, we haven't seen a glimpse of the sun in days...

Sorry to hear that Laura. Hope you get better soon -- especially being pain-free ASAP.

In December, there was about a 3 week period where there was no sun here, totally overcast and pretty cold. And then the sun finally came out and has been out most days since and it's much warmer. Hang in there, this too shall pass.

I don't think you really understand the seriousness behind Laura's words, unless I'm cranky too and that's all there it to it. The puzzle thing is just a tiny drop in all the things that can make one cranky for carrying the weight of the world in one's shoulders. Instead of saying, "being grumpish" is OK, how about using that to really think about what each one of us is really giving back to the universe for all the work put on this forum and the whole of this groups' activities, and try to contribute more? That might not only remove some people's crankiness at times, but it would also actually, MAYBE, make a difference in our beings and in the world, as little as that difference might be. See the point?

Same here. Think a bit wider, and you'll see that this is not just about a silly puzzle or you participating in this thread. If things were more balanced, and people were really paying rent on Life and working on themselves instead of just taking from Life, then even a puzzle like this one would be fun to do for a break! It might be different for each person, of course, but I think that if there is anything to be learned from this little episode is to actually think about your role in the network, instead of saying " I won't post here anymore".

FWIW.

personally, my body has gone through hell over the past few years, so
i know first-hand what pain / stress can do to us psychologically.

i hope your knee gets better ASAP !

thinking about the "role" we play on the forum is important, i agree.
i have decided that when i feel the need to wind-down a bit, i will do so on my own time and in my own space.

I too have been thinking about my role in this network, especially since I now have this sense of urgency....The end is in sight.

Here are what I consider two pressing goals:
(1) "Discover" UFT
(2) "Unlock" DNA

Still, I think we all do battle in our own way. Everybody receives individual attention from 4D STS, right?

Probably only those doing something to warrant it. That is, only those attempting to move out from under the influence of the "general law".

I think the point here TP is that that kind of puzzle can be found in any magazine or paper or whatever any time anywhere. Do you know how many "spot the difference" images there are out there? What's so special about this one? My point being that this forum has a particular theme, so don't you think you could have come up with a puzzle that was more relevant to the topics discussed here or the general theme of the forum? Like a puzzle that introduced a new topic or added to a topic already under discussion, or a puzzle that was at least tangentially linked to same?

Have you read the threads on 'strangers to ourselves'? I'm sure there are a bunch of particular types of puzzles that are relevant to many points made in that thread (and the book under discussion). Had you posted a puzzle like that and added some context, you would have been actively trying to add to an important topic. The point being that everything posted on this forum should ideally add something of value, whatever that something is, rather than just posting something that, as I said, can be found in the back pages of the national inquirer, and to post it as is..

Hope you're getting what I'm trying to say here; that this forum has a definite aim, and ideally therefore, everything that is posted, in whatever area, should in some way directly aid that aim and the type of knowledge and understanding that we promote.

Learning is meant to be fun, so try and make the fun part of learning as full of potential learning as possible.
