Pineal, Puberty and Fluoride

Doubtful, after a certain age (20-25y.o.) the gland calcifies, and endogenous melatonin production and release is down.
Exogenous melatonin can help.

Decalcify Your Pineal Gland

Hello,
I saw this video already 1y before, and I just searched for it again.

I did my homework by searching well before, here's Laura's answer about :

Laura said:
If you want to de-calcify anything in the body, you have to change your diet. Check out our ketogenic diet thread. If anything will do it, that will.

So, I think that this video is worth it to have a look at it, it's nicely done and explained, but as i'm not english native, I can't "ensure" that all she says is correct, or if some corrections have to be made ?

She's really a smart girl, I'll check some of her other videos.

Re: Decalcify Your Pineal Gland

That video is more useful as a starting point on doing one's own research, after all we can't trust it to be accurate. Furthermore, it has a strong new-age slant towards astral projection and trance and high strangeness experiences which as we've discussed in other threads are rarely beneficial and dangerous at best. I think the best reasons to decalcify the pineal gland would be improved sleep and hormonal function, which do facilitate spiritual growth in a natural way.

But I think it is illusory to fixate on the pineal gland here. If your therapy is powerful enough to decalcify the pineal gland, you're probably doing a lot of other things around the body as well.

I think the real question here is, if you are following a healthy lifestyle, are there any reasons your body might not be able to decalcify? For instance boron deficiency might prevent your body from decalcifying even if you are otherwise healthy. We have an Arthritis/Boron thread here with information on that.

Re: Decalcify Your Pineal Gland

Decalcifying the pineal gland is certainly a good thing as it is to decalcify other organs/glands of the body; but it won't produce psychic effects/benefits. Those come from DNA changes and the pituitary is the link-up to the higher bodies.

I don't know how this nonsense got started but it's sure persistent and misleading.

This subject came up in this thread: The Pineal Gland: Our Cosmic Connection

http://cassiopaea.org/forum/index.php/topic,29886.msg395777.html#msg395777

In it, I suggested the following origin of this nonsense:
The beginning of this misconception may have been initiated by Samael Aun Weor
http://gnosticteachings.org/contributors/samael-aun-weor.html
Quote

Samael Aun Weor (a Hebrew name) remains largely unknown in the English-speaking world. But in his native Latin America, he is known internationally as the founder of the Gnostic Movement and author of over seventy books about the fundamental root knowledge from which all our most important philosophical, scientific, and religious traditions blossomed.

There's an excerpt from his book, Fundamental Notions of Endocrinology & Criminology, The Pineal Gland (created on Saturday, 17 January 1959) listing many of these same notions that the pineal gland is the third eye.
http://gnosticteachings.org/books-by-samael-aun-weor/fundamental-notions-of-endocrinology-a-criminology/1437-the-pineal-gland.html

for an idea of what he was teaching:
Quote

The pineal gland is situated in the posterior part of the brain[wrong! it's almost dead-center]. This small gland is only five millimeters in diameter. A very important, fine, sand-like tissue surrounds it.[calcification...has to do with aging] The pineal gland is a small tissue of a red-grayish color. This small gland is intimately related with the sexual organs. The pineal gland secretes certain hormones that regulate the whole process of evolution and the development of the sexual organs. [has more to do with circadian rhythyms, ie. melatonin.]

Conventional science assures that after these hormones have achieved their purpose, then this gland degenerates into a fibrous tissue. They state that after the total development of the sexual organs, the pineal gland is no longer capable of secreting any hormones.

Descartes assured us that this gland is the “seat of the Soul.” The Orientals assure us that this gland is a dormant “third eye.” When the occidental medicine of the world discovered that this gland is only a red-grayish tissue situated in the posterior part of the brain, then it rejected the affirmation of Descartes and the Orientals. It would have been better not to have created scientific dogmas and to have studied instead all the concepts in an eclectic and didactic form.

The yogis of India assure us that the pineal gland is the window of Brahma, the Diamond Eye, the polyvoyant eye, that through some special training, gives us the perception of the Ultra....

The oriental sages say that sexual potency depends on the potency of the pineal gland. Now we can explain to ourselves the scientific basis of Chastity.

There is no doubt that all the great Biblical prophets were great pinealists. Scientific Chastity combined with certain practices permitted them to see the Ultra of Nature.

Gnostics state that the atom of the Holy Spirit is found within the pineal gland. Biology is resolved to investigate all these things. The Orientals affirmed that in the pineal gland is found the lotus flower of a thousand petals. There is no doubt that this is the crown of saints.

Human beings of great intelligence have their pineal gland highly developed. It has been discovered that the pineal glands of cretins are atrophied....The senses of this Astral Body seem to bloom like lotus flowers from the very essence of the endocrine glands. The lotus of a thousand petals, mentioned by yogis of India, is a psychic sense of the Astral Body.

The special development of the pineal gland allows us to perceive the Astral Body and its psychic senses as lotus flowers bloom from the endocrine glands.
He seems quite assured, as do many other new-agers on the web, but Descartes never proved his supposition. Dr Rick Strassman (DMT: The Spirit Molecule) also makes an unsubstantiated suggestion that the pineal gland and this endogenous neurotransmitter are coordinated toward "spiritual" connections, leading to questions such as Therpo's about psychotropic enhancers.

When you look at the appearance of the pituitary gland with it's lobes attached to a "stem", seems to resemble a lotus flower more than the pineal gland, which got it's name because it looked like a pine cone.
[....]
Many popular new age/ "gnostic" websites seem to be parroting his teachings or ideas about the pineal gland being a polyvoyant eye (is that even a real word?)

So how/when has the "third eye"(parietal eye) that is associated with fish', amphibians' and reptiles' pineal gland become synonymous with "third eye"(mind's eye) of the human pituitary/psychic center?
Very curious.

And VERY wrong on the scientific basis alone.

Does ibogan helps in decalcification of the pineal gland ?

I would suggest to read the new book written by Nora Gedgaudas "RETHINKING FATIGUE: What Your Adrenals Are Really Telling You And What You Can Do About It".

Here's a couple of extracts:

There’s more than one way to disturb your circadian rhythm, and one of the most common and least recognized is calcification of the pineal gland, the brain structure that produces melatonin. Fluoride is a major culprit.

The pineal gland is a pea-sized, pine-cone-shaped gland located deep within the brain where the two brain hemispheres join. Unlike the rest of the brain, though, it is not protected by the blood-brain barrier, which makes it especially vulnerable to dietary fluoride exposure.

More than a decade ago, a researcher at the University of Surrey in the United Kingdom found that fluoride deposits in the pineal gland accumulate with age and are associated with gland calcification. Eleven aged cadavers were dissected and their pineal glands were examined. The author of the study, Jennifer Luke, wrote: “There was a positive correlation between pineal fluoride and pineal calcium (r = 0.73, p < 0.02), but no correlation between pineal fluoride and bone fluoride. By old age, the pineal gland has readily accumulated fluoride and its fluoride-to-calcium ratio is higher than bone.” Scary.

Luke suggested that the pineal calcification could be an indicator of decreased melatonin production and could become an indicator for circadian rhythm vulnerability and useful for assessing the need for melatonin replacement therapy. In fact, Luke and her co-authors thought that the degree of pineal calcification could be a better indicator of melatonin deficiency than measuring the amount of melatonin circulating in the blood. Furthermore, she said, “a decrease of melatonin production ... might lead to a disturbed circadian rhythmicity in the sleep-wake cycle, with the principal symptom being daytime tiredness.”

She reported another disturbing finding: “Physiologic pineal calcification is more common in children than previously reported.”

Other researchers have found evidence that fluoride-induced pineal calcification is a risk factor for schizophrenia, Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, axial dyskinesia, stroke, Parkinson’s disease, tardive dyskinesia, Tourette’s syndrome, insomnia, and melatonin circadian dysregulation.

It is important to be sure you are getting your vitamin D along with a relative balance of other critical cofactors, such as vitamin A (retinol) and vitamin K2. This can help balance vitamin D and its effects in the body and help avoid problematic nutrient imbalances. With all the hot press and hype concerning the near-miraculous benefits of vitamin D, an all-too-commonly overlooked fact is that no nutrient functions in a vacuum away from the need for other nutrients. Too much of one nutrient can create serious imbalance with others, and this may cause very real problems. As I pointed out in Primal Body, Primal Mind, for every receptor for vitamin D on every cell there are at least two receptors for vitamin A (in the form of retinol – not beta carotene!). Liver is the best source for this critical fat-soluble nutrient, but supplementing with superfoods such as fermented cod liver oil can do the job, too.

Magnesium deficiency can additionally and very commonly lead to undesirable calcium imbalances. We are all far more likely to be deficient in magnesium than in calcium, and restoring healthy magnesium levels is critical for managing appropriate calcification of things in your body that are meant to be calcified and minimizing the calcification of things that were not meant to be calcified.

Vitamin K2 regulates calcification. Deficiencies in vitamin K2 (all too common nowadays due to the fact that most people fail to eat enough organ meats) can readily lead to calcification of soft tissues and inadequate calcium in the places where it most belongs – in your bones and teeth! In fact, poor vitamin K2 levels can additionally make you prone to poor bone health and dental caries, as well as harden your arteries and calcify your heart muscle. Add these dietary fat-soluble nutrient imbalances to fluoride exposure, and you find your pineal gland (and God knows what else) ensconced over time in a delightful calcium-rich crust. Trust me, you don’t want this.

SO HOW DOES ONE GO ABOUT REVERSING OR AVOIDING PINEAL CALCIFICATION?
I recommend:
Avoiding all sources of fluoride
Avoiding supplements with any form of calcium – almost no one needs this!
Maintaining healthy levels of vitamin D3, together with its critical cofactors, vitamins A (retinol) and K2
Taking magnesium L-threonate, which has specificity for the brain and by maintaining healthy intracellular levels of magnesium elsewhere in the body
Trying IV magnesium as part of a Myers’ cocktail
Taking vitamin K2 (natural dietary MK-4 and supplemental/dietary MK-7) and/or adding more organ meats plus 100 percent pastured raw butter. Or, if you have a dairy sensitivity, consider Pure Indian Foods Grass-Fed Organic Cultured Ghee. This cultured ghee product is certified by the manufacturer as being uniquely free of dairy proteins, a status that is in the process of being independently confirmed. Stay tuned.

You can buy the book here: http://www.amazon.com/RETHINKING-FATIGUE-Adrenals-Really-Telling-ebook/dp/B00LGDETD4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1416759961&sr=8-1&keywords=rethinking+fatigue

And of course, if you have taken too much fluoride, you have to get rid of it as soon as possible.

How to De-Calcify Your Pineal Gland with Food

Optimize your life and well-being by implementing the food-related suggestions to de-calcify your pineal gland and thrive!

By: Amanda Froelich,

True Activist.

What exactly is the pineal gland? In ‘New Age’ circles the term is casually thrown around in conjunction with talk about ‘awakening’, ‘ascension’, and ‘vibrant health’, but few are still very confused on it’s legitimacy or the correlation it has with health and well-being.

In scientific terms, what is referred to as the ‘mind’s eye’ is in fact the pineal gland, a small, pine-cone shaped endocrine gland in the brain that produces and secretes the hormone melatonin. It is believed to be responsible for the release of Dimethyltryptamine (DMT). Also referred to as the “third eye”, it has been known for centuries to be the “principle seat of the soul”, as described by Descartes.

Both physically and and metaphysically, this gland has many functions. Human beings are only now becoming aware of its importance, however, as well as how to keep it functioning optimally so every individual may ‘awaken’ to higher consciousness and perceive life in a new way.
The issue is, as all beings age the pineal gland begins to calcify and become sluggish. Depending on dietary choices, mentality, attitude, and lifestyle, the rate of calcification varies; however it’s clear that both illness and feelings of disconnect from Source are related to a sluggish pineal gland.

Fluoride is believed to be a risk factor associated with calcification of the gland. Because it collects in extremely high amounts in the pineal gland, it causes faster degeneration. This compound can also decrease melatonin production, reducing one’s ability to get deep, restorative sleep..

Besides contributing to one’s lack of divine recognizance, calcification of the pineal gland has shown to be in strong correlation with the development of Alzheimer’s disease. In addition to a diet laden with preservatives, chemicals, pesticides, calcification and premature aging often both result.
How Should one Eat to Prevent Premature Aging and Calcification?

Quite simply (though not as simple to adopt), a healthy, preservative/chemical-free diet that is rich in healthy fats, fruits, vegetables, high-enzyme legumes, nuts, seeds, and leafy green foods should be implemented.

In addition to adopting a healthier diet, one can optimize their nutrition for the mind’s eye and de-calcify their pineal gland with the following recommendations:

Remove Fluoride

While it may be difficult to cut it out completely (unless you move to a remote location with pure, spring water), drastically lowering the fluoride levels consumed will positively benefit your health and mission to de-calcify the essential endocrine gland.

You can do this by:

Properly filtering water before consumption. Most communities have water supplies teaming with fluoride. To properly filter, you need a reverse-osmosis filter on the tap. It is also an option to buy bottled water from a clean, fresh spring.

Switching to a fluoride-free toothpaste. Many commercial toothpaste companies add fluoride to their products. While the debate on its efficiency or necessity rages on, it has been shown to be another form of toxic input that you don’t need.

Consume Apple Cider Vinegar

Purchased organic and with the mother, Apple Cider Vinegar is a great tonic to detoxify and de-calcify the body. It is rich in malic acid and helps alkalize the body. An entire website has been devoted to sharing its many benefits, visit it here.

You can sip this vinegar 3 times a day, or add it to a glass with water, lemon juice, and honey.
Opt for More Iodine-Rich Foods

Iodine-rich foods, such as seaweed, kelp, cranberries, green beans, kale, darky leafy greens, bananas, shrimp, and lobster, can help support thyroid function which is essential for the pineal gland. While the list is incomplete as there are far more sources of iodine-rich foods, their importance cannot be overstated.

Iodine is essential for helping to remove sodium fluoride from the body; as stated earlier, this is necessary for de-calcifying the pineal gland.

It is important to note that too much Iodine can be toxic if consumed / supplemented in very high levels, therefore be cautious and use a water-soluble form such as losol to avoid the risk of over-consuming it
Indulge in Raw Cacao

The delicious, mineralizing, and highly-prized raw cacao bean (which chocolate is derived from) is abundant in antioxidants that fight free radicals and keep the brain healthy. Raw cacao – a 7th chakra food – has also been touted to stimulate the mind’s eye and help detoxify it. Highly prized by indigenous Indians throughout South and Latin America, who really needs an excuse to consume this food anyways?
Nourish with Coconut Oil

This incredibly healing food nourishes all parts of the human body. But it’s greatest benefit may be that it revitalizes the brain and detoxes the pineal gland. Rich in medium-chain triglycerides which are converted to ketones in the liver, this food restores neurons and improves nerve function in the brain.

This is incredible news for those seeking alternative form of therapy to reverse damage in the brain and prevent Alzheimer’s disease.
Cultivate & Consume More Herbs

Nature offers many preventative and healing herbs. The following are incredibly helpful for healing the body and de-calcifying the pineal gland:

Gotu Kola: This incredible herb nourishes the whole brain and stimulates the pineal gland.

Alfalfa Sprouts: Rich in enzymes, vitamins, and minerals, these sprouts help to detoxify the body and energize the pineal gland.

Parsley: Not only does this herb detox heavy metals, it stimulates the pineal gland, cleans the body, and energizes the entire system.

These are only some of the herbs which are beneficial to the human body. Add them generously to your dishes when cooking, preparing a nutritious salad, or serving up a delectable side dish.
Ditch the Sunglasses

Light reflected by the retina stimulates the pineal gland. Because our eyes need to be exposed to indirect sunlight on a daily basis, sporting sunglasses at all times can contribute to calcification of the pineal gland.

If they are an essential must in your life, at least take breaks from wearing the sunglasses and spend plenty (intelligent amounts) of time in the sun. Because many people are deficient in Vitamin D, getting enough through sun exposure can not only support your brain health, but also help fight depression.

Ways to benefit the brain and de-calcify the pineal gland are not limited to this list, but these suggestions will most definitely benefit your health and enrich your life.

Nourishing your body is a priority, so should be supporting your ‘mind’s eye’! Adopt the listed habits and experience the many positive benefits that flow into your life when you optimize your body and mind.

5 Ways to Decalcify Your Pineal Gland Regardless Of Your Age

April 18, 2015 Steven Bancarz - 102 Comments

pineal-gland-decalcification1. Avoid all things fluoride:

Fluoride is in so many things – it’s purposefully made to be hard to avoid. Get a reverse osmosis water system if you can. Drinking with tap water and cooking with it heavily calcify our pineal glands. Get fluoride-less toothpaste, and stay away from any sodas and artificial food.
2. Pineal gland detoxifying foods:

Garlic, ginger, cilantro, hemp seeds, coconut oil, kale or any dark leaf similar. static1.squarespace Also raw cacao is incredible for this. Bentonite clay, colloidal sliver, noni juice and so much more! There are many different lists on the internet to check out.
3. Essentials oils:

Bergamot, Lavender, Sandalwood, Frankincense, Pachouli, Spearmint, tea tree oil, eucalyptus, rose water, sage and soo much more! Essential oils stimulate parts of our brain and can help activate our pineal glands.
4. Citric acid:

Putting lemon in water and drinking it every day, not only helps decalcify our pineal glands but it’s incredibly healthy in all aspects. It clears your skin and helps balance your PH levels and can take years off your face!
5. Garlic:

Garlic alone fights so many infections. It is a natural anti inflammatory, immune system booster and helps flush out the toxins in our body. The intense infusing flavors are so strong, it helps take the calcium off our pineal glands!

Re: How to De-Calcify Your Pineal Gland with Food

Thank you Happyliza, for this informative post, it has lots natural ways to help get a good health, and best of all to help in detoxify our Pineal Gland....

Re: How to De-Calcify Your Pineal Gland with Food

HappyLiza, have your read the many posts on the forum about diet and health? Have you read the sessions about the pineal gland?

A whole lot of the above article is just plain wrong and New Agey.

Yes I have but have 2 months of catching up to do due to the sheer volume of posts and Sott articles to get through daily.

What I liked about the articles was the fact they mentioned oils, herbs, coconut oil and iodine etc - things we DO use. I assumed that peeps here would automatically know what to avoid because of our studies.

But I also posted it on my FB because I hoped that even if folks follow it not having the wealth of information that we have here - that hopefully it MAY be better that what they are currently doing. That maybe it MAY help towards not losing the activity of their pineal gland.

I agree it is 'new agey' especially the second article on '5 ways' etc.

This was my true objective behind posting - like all the continual repeats we have to do on articles, and sharing them, on Sott.

It was not my intention to be misleading at all. I apologize if I gave that impression. I think it affects us all here seeing the complete and purposeful killing of people's health and lives that is so intentionally done by the ptb - worse still the ruination of the little chance people have of having any 'spiritual' connection whatsoever - particularly those who sincerely do try to do their best for humanity.

I don't think I can trust any article like that when I don't know the source of their information. How do they know what helps the pineal gland or what doesn't? Maybe they asked their own ouija board? I would like to see some original research at least.
