Kurt Metzger (he co-hosts the Jimmy Dore show) was interviewed by Danny Jones the other day. I haven’t watched the podcast in its entirety (it’s a long one, over 3 hours), but did check out this shorter clip where Kurt talks about the Hollywood families, and what they do "behind closed doors".
It wasn’t anything new as such, as their pedo tendencies are known by this point, but when you see evidence of it, it sure causes a sickening feeling.
They showed a clip of Gene Roddenberry, where he mentions things about his daughters with a clear pedo-vibe to them. There are also pictures of Carl Reiner kissing Rob Reiner on the mouth, and Rob doing the same to his son, Nick Reiner, who ended up stabbing and killing both of his parents.
It seems to be a generational thing - the children are abused, and in turn, abuse their own offspring, continuing the cycle, generating psychological damage. A post from the comments section under the video:
Both Roddenberry (created the original Star Trek) and Reiner (directed e.g. Stand by Me) are responsible for making some genuinely good content (though in collaboration with others), and hearing about their derangement can "sour" it. I guess you would have to separate the art from the artist.
