Jet crashes into Philadelphia residential area at high speed

Looking at the comment section, some suggest it was a missile. If you look at the images, there was fire before it hit the ground:

Look also at the crash from the angle of this video.

Problem with it being a anything other than a plane is that the people who were on the scene immediately, before any emergency services, show parts that indicate it was an air ambulance in their videos. You can see the ambulance style logo on the remainder of the fuselage in this video:

It could be the lights of the plane at a particular angle.

That's what I was thinking. At first I thought meteor, then missile, but now I think it was actually a plane.

It was only 3 miles from it's take off point and it was flying to Missouri, so it had a tank full of fuel intended for a long flight. This would explain the massive fireball and the speed suggests it wasn't a malfunction. This would mean it was just the lights on the plane that people saw as lit up.

And flying at that speed and angle the lights would appear as a blurred line, especially with cameras on cell phones or dash cams. Apparently the occupants were all Mexicans and had flown from Tijuana and were on their way back to there. So yeah, plenty of fuel for the fireball, but that burned off quickly. Explosive force limited to the kinetic energy from the body of the plane, which is probably not that much. Hence not much serious damage beyond the impact point, which looks like a parking lot.

Yes, perhaps also a camera does not always capture it the same way as a human eye. Is a point of light as seen from an observer captured more as a streak of light?

About Learjet 55,
Among specifications the Wiki says:
  • Empty weight: 13,000 lb (5,897 kg)
  • Max takeoff weight: 21,500 lb (9,752 kg)
  • Powerplant: 2 × Garrett TFE731-3A-2B turbofan aero-engine, 3,700 lbf (16 kN) thrust each
Performance
  • Maximum speed: 541 mph (871 km/h, 470 kn) at 30,000ft (9145m)
  • Cruise speed: 462 mph (744 km/h, 402 kn) at 49,000ft (14935m)
  • Range: 2,492 mi (4,010 km, 2,165 nmi) with four passengers and fuel reserves
Edit begin: The above difference in empty and max takeoff weight, would indicate that perhaps three tons could be fuel; that is a lot of energy if released as a fireball. - Edit end.

They say under accidents:
Learjet is a common business jet; some people are probably paying attention, even if the crash is described as an "accident."

Recalling the midair collision over the Potamac River in Washington DC between the military Black Hawk helicopter and American Airlines Flight 5342, discussed in a separate thread, it seems as if the lines between missiles, drones and planes/helicopters are blurring.

That's a shocking video.. and it kinda proves that it was indeed a plane. How is it possible that it was flying towards the earth with such speed?
Someone already mentioned the possibility of opening to 4D, whereby the "curve" is not visible and the pilot accelerates confidently towards the open sky, which is what he sees.

We know that it will start to happen and it is something to take into account.

Then high speed drone? If drone, then what cargo is that? Yesterday’s Official story is that The medical jet seems to have lost contact after took off at 6 Pm, they realize they lost contact by 606 , with 6 people n board and now some articles say 6 injured people as of now . If this speculation is correct, it will be similar to 911 plot.

Some videos show parts of the plane scattered around with rescue air ambulance logo on some of it, like this one:

which looks like a parking lot

It's the middle of a main road. Haven't found which, yet. But it's somewhere around Roosevelt Mall.

Edit: According to CNN's graphic, it's at the intersection of Bustleton Avenue and Cottman Avenue. They also say:

Philadelphia’s emergency management department said roads were closed in the area of Cottman and Bustleton avenues due to the “major incident.”

Officially reported summary so far:
  • A medical transport jet carrying a child patient, her mother and four others crashed into a Philadelphia neighborhood about 30 seconds after taking off, erupting in a fireball and engulfing several homes in flames.
  • The crash occurred shortly after 6 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 31, 2025, near the intersection of Roosevelt Boulevard and Cottman Avenue. Multiple videos obtained by NBC10 show the plane plummeting from the sky, crashing to the ground and a massive explosion shortly after. Multiple homes in the area caught fire.
  • According to the FAA, the plane was a Learjet 55 that left Northeast Philadelphia Airport and was headed for Springfield-Branson National Airport and stopping in Missouri before traveling to its final destination of Tijuana, Mexico.
  • A girl who was returning to Mexico after receiving treatment for a life-threatening illness in the U.S. was among the six people on board the flight. The girl's mother, a pilot, copilot, doctor and paramedic were also on board.
  • Jet Rescue Air Ambulance, which operated the Learjet 55, said in a statement: “We cannot confirm any survivors.” There was no immediate word whether anyone on the ground was killed, but at least six people were treated for injuries at a hospital.
  • The FAA said the National Transportation Safety Board will lead the investigation. The NTSB said an investigator arrived and more officials would be there Saturday.
  • A shelter for those impacted by the crash opened at Samuel Fels High School on 5500 Langdon Street in Philadelphia.
