Actually, it is I that feels like I owe you something because of what has developed. Perhaps if I had just said nothing or worded my replies differently, this may have been prevented altogether. I don't think I could feel much worse about something I wrote, but it's no one on here's fault. I feel like you owe me nothing, so don't be concerned with me. :)

Hi Bud,
I do feel I owe you and others something here and it's important that I convey this now...

I have always felt that I can not commit to the levels that I see others do on this forum, and I mean in areas such as reading, health, programs, research, sharing and so forth. Although I do spend a lot of time 'working' on myself, I doubt it is at levels that I should be. Having said that, I feel that I am traveling my own path and that whatever levels of commitment I put in are 'right' for me..I rarely question them as I feel this puts weight on me, rather I have found that I am better at just asking the inner me 'what do I need to do?' and then let go and let whatever develops develop.

Having said that, I still find this forum to be the most open about things and I 'always' without hesitation turned to this forum before any other place when I want to know what others think about a particular topic. It's like the canary in the coal mine....someone out there makes a claim about something, I immediately come here first to see if others have investigated it and what their findings are...

I say this with the risk that because I do not commit like others on this forum, that my presence may be more of a drain on others rather than a contribution...I hope this is not the case

Anart, I have just read your last post..I would ask that you consider what I have just said above to Bud and if you think it's still ok to have posting privileges, you can be assured I have learned my lesson regarding posting and external consideration.

Maybe, we can change the title of this post to 'read this before you decide to delete a post' or something similar...maybe there is a silver lining to this that can benefit others in the future :)

Thanks again
Dingo

It's not the case or we wouldn't be having this conversation. ;)

There almost always is, which is why learning is fun.

This is a sensible approach and can be useful to others as well. Sometimes there are subjects and topics that haven't been brought up and other times there are topics with quite a bit of detail of the situation at hand. The search function can be useful. :)

"Please delete" has a certain meaning to it too, given what has happened. The silver lining will apply to mostly apply to yourself as far as I can see. Sometime in the future you can look back and see how automatically you react when gripped by fear. This thread will remind you of that.

Nevertheless in future, you may be helpful to someone going through a similar fearful experience because you have some knowledge and understanding of it; having gone through it at some stage in your life. An empathy comes with this, if you let it. You can point them to this post. In this way by sharing and drawing on your life experience, you don't become a drain but a contributor.
