Tito is really interesting as a person.
First, many think that he did not come from a humble family from the Croatian countryside. Mostly because of his speech, which resembles the speech of someone whose mother tongue is not Serbian-Croatian. Also, because of his manners (playing the piano, swordsmanship, etc.), but I think he could certainly have mastered it during his youth if he was dedicated and diligent. It remains a mystery how he spoke the language of his own people so badly.
The Serbs reproached him for ignoring the largest Ustasha camp during the Second World War - the Jasenovac camp. He never visited it. The official information was that 700,000 people died, of which 500,000 were Serbs. Today, in Croatia as well as in Serbia, that number is reduced by various experts and ranges from 80,000 to 1,000,000 Serbs killed in Jasenovac.
In this regard, please, if anyone is interested in asking, perhaps, at the session, a couple of questions that are quite interesting to us from the Balkans and for which there are so many different sources and interpretations.
Is Josip Broz Tito of the origin he claimed to be (Kumrovec in Croatia)?
How many Serbs were killed in the Jasenovac camp during the war?
How many people were shot in Srebrenica in July 1995?
Presidential elections are being held in Bosnia next month (October 2). It is worth paying attention to the events during the election campaign, especially to Republika Srpska and its main politician Milorad Dodik, who is openly pro-Russian and is going to Moscow on September 20 to get Putin's support.
There is a possibility for an attempt at a colored revolution in the Republic of Srpska. But I think there is little chance of success because the majority of people (80+%) are pro-Russian and anti-NATO in Republika Srpska.
