Predictions and Prophecies

Just a follow up to SAO's jovial C suggestion. A moon circle would really wake us all up!! I can't imagine Cassiopaea responding to requests in solid action though, they be a talking type.
They be acting through us my friend... for we are they and they be we ;)

Interesting comment at the end of today's Signs chain on 'Iraq Manipulations'

What does the future hold?

The US finally "leaves" Iraq. Saudi Arabia (controlled by Zionists) arms Iraq's Sunnis with British weapons, but rather than turning on each other, Iraqis join with Iran, Lebanon and Syria, and turn on Israel. Israel threatens attacks on all, in the belief that the US will continue to support them. At the last moment, the US "balks", telling Israel it will have to fight this one alone. Israel, and much of the Middle East is destroyed in the ensuing war.

I predict that things will change, eventually for the better and I believe in a much more slow, cog like way than many think possible in our fast moving epoch.
Unfortunately this scenario seems unlikely. (And in any case, we should strive to eliminate belief from predictions.) It's unlikely that upcoming change will be slow, by any stretch of the imagination. All one has to do is look at the past to see that many changes were so fast as to be cataclysmic in scale. There is hard data that points to this as fact. Hence, due to the cyclical nature of our world, more rapid, and quite possibly cataclysmic, changes are likely to be "just around the corner". Uniformitarianism, the idea that changes to our world have always been relatively slow, is a scientific paradigm that stems from several influences, one of which is the false paradigm of linearity.

This is quite a prophecy, is a youtube video taken from _http://www.hercolubus.tv about the approaching of a very big planet to the earth called Hercolubus and the terrible consequences it will bring for us:

Yes, this is QUITE a 'prophecy'! And, it is a rather silly one it seems.
From Wickipedia:

"New Age author V.M. Rabolu writes in Hercolubus or Red Planet that Barnard's star is actually a planet known to the ancients as Hercolubus, which purportedly came dangerously close to earth in the past, destroying Atlantis.[5] Rabolu claims that Hercolubus will come close to earth again. He also claims that humanity will only be saved by means of mantras and "astral unfolding".[6] Nancy Leider has used Rabolu's ideas to bolster her claims.[7]

Barnard's star has been directly measured to be 5.98 ± 0.003 light years from Earth (35.15 trillion miles). At that distance, it would need to be travelling at ten thousand miles a second (an appreciable fraction of the speed of light) to reach Earth in less than a century. While it is approaching Earth, Barnard's Star will not make its closest approach to the Sun until around 11,700 AD, when it will approach to within some 3.8 light-years.[8] This is only slightly closer than the closest star to the Sun (Proxima Centauri) lies today."

It does not look like we have anything to worry about from this 'anytime soon', if ever!

Well, I was searching the world wide web for predictions for 2010. I came across this one site. At first the predictions look possible, but as they go on become maybe more than a little ridiculous. I thought I'd share it anyway, if nothing more than for a good laugh. And for any odd reason these predictions could be plausible, I'm sorry I won't live to see all of them :P

Well, in all fairness, I didn't suggest we should either.

I didn't suggest that you suggested that. Simply a comment about the site. Prickly, aren't we?

Sorry for misunderstanding then. I took the comment as it was directed to me, and I was not worked up over the site, or suggested such, so that was the base for my comment. I apologise.

Here's a site that goes into very detailed predictions of human technological development from the year 2000 to infinity. Even though technology is impossible to truly predict, I found it an interesting read.

And then I remembered Nostradamus records:
"Leave, leave Geneva every last one of you,
Saturn will be converted from gold to iron,
RAYPOZ will exterminate all who oppose him,
Before the coming the sky will show signs."
