Maybe not as impressive as Gobekli Tepe, there are other ancient sites in the nearby region that are interesting for other reasons. For instance, in Karahan Tepe, it looks that there is some water-related stone work:

Thanks for bringing this up - I was not aware of this site. I will be looking into this also, as I have found Gobleki Tepe to be fascinating.
There sure are a lot of ancient mysteries, eh?

Hello to you all,
I have just read the 7 pages of this topic and it is fascinating.
Thanks to all those who gave new indications.

I remembered to have copied an article on Göbekli Tepe, in 2014
Resonance at Göbekli Tepe, Turkey

In all the articles of this site where there are photos of archaeological sites, there is always the translation of the writing in paleo-sanskrit and it speaks of "roar", "vibration" and Jupiter...

And I found two sentences from Laura (Ancient Science):
"In these scenarios, Jupiter's "lightning bolts" are exchanges of electrical potentials between planets"
"Others have suggested that these stories represent the interactions of aliens or human-extraterrestrial hybrids with advanced technologies.
In these theories, Jupiter's lightning bolts are nuclear weapons, and Jupiter is just an ordinary guy who used a big bomb."

On the other hand, someone talked about a kind of "concrete" and in the article used, he talks about geopolymer.
All the pictures are very beautiful; here is one :

Ethical Skeptic's work deserves more coverage. Here's his latest take on the "handbags". His interpretation of the snake as the Milky Way seems spot on (article linked here):

An Interpretation of Göbekli Tepe Pillar 43

In Exhibit A below, the reader can observe how the nine iconographs carved into Pillar 43 correspond strikingly well to the nine asterisms I have identified from the sky field map shown below right (produced using Starry Night Pro 8.1.0). The carvings on the stone align precisely with the Sanliurfa night sky as it would have appeared around 14,600 BCE. Four birds, including the Condor, two snakes, a scorpion, a dog, and what may be a headless frog (?) all align exactly with the star formations visible in the heavens at that time. I estimate odds of this match occurring by accident or lucky forcing to conservatively be about 1 in 10,000 at the least.3
Pillar-43-Summary-Chart-3.png

Exhibit A – Pillar 43 Outlined and Matched to Regional Sky – my construct conjecture turned out to be correct. Pillar 43 depicts very precisely and competently, the stars which made up the northern sky over what is now Sanliurfa, Turkey (Göbekli Tepe) in 14,600 BCE.4 Note the artist’s use of details all the way down to twin stars serving as ‘nostrils’ for the condor motif. The iconic ‘H’ symbols are also cited and an interpretation is proposed herein. Why are we not told any of this? Read my other articles in the ECDO Earth Cataclysm series, and you will comprehend why.
Pillar-43-Aurora-Borealis-2.png

Figure 1 – A rare and robust aurora borealis is interpreted as flames burning in the Sanliurfa, Turkey night sky above Göbekli Tepe. The 11 boxes represent true north, and five points of bearing to either side thereof, constituting the horizon-range over which these flames spread in the Pillar artist’s night sky (blue annotations and borealis colors are my additions).
It could have been plasma events too?
Exhibit B – Aurora Borealis and Meltwater Pulse 1A Coincidence
The bottom panel image presents a conjectural interpretation of the markings on Pillar 43, attributed to the two distinct color bands—red above and green below—characteristic of an aurora borealis visible as far south as Sanliurfa, Turkey. Accompanying this is a brief description of the global cataclysm known as Meltwater Pulse 1A, a sudden and dramatic rise in sea levels around 14,600 BCE, likely triggered by massive glacial melting. Together, these elements suggest a compelling alignment between the artist’s message and the celestial and terrestrial phenomena of this prehistoric epoch. The top panel image integrates this stellar arrangement into the framework of today’s constellation schemes.
