Psychomantium Mirrors - Past, Present, Future?

Welcome to the forum katarinak. :-)

The work with psychomantium is a scientific process. Each parameter must be designed in a scientific way. For example, what you describe as a flicker might not be a flicker at all, or at least not a steady flicker. You should not see any shapes in the mirror, only a uniform background. Fix that first, later on you may work on other things.

Hello, I would like to ask for your advice. I've been trying to work with psychomantium for 2 months and I feel like I'm not doing very well so far. We modified the room according to C's advice - a black room, the door covered with plush blankets, 1 candle and 1 mini biofireplace, which provides a nice flickering. The lighting is above the head and behind me. I meditate in front of the mirror every evening for an average of about 40 minutes. I noticed that my sleep has changed and I have many different dreams. In the mirror I can only see light effects of various shapes, but I can't see anything concrete. As for thoughts, it's not easy to ignore them, sometimes I do better, sometimes less. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong, I feel like I've tried everything and nothing works yet. If anyone could help me move on, I would be very grateful.
Hi there katarinak, I see that you joined us a few months ago & it’s great to see you posting! It’s customary for new members to introduce themselves over in the Newbies section- nothing too personal, just a bit about yourself and how you found your way here.

A warm :welcome: to the forum!

Hi Persej, thank you very much for your answer. Do you have already any positive experiences and can you see something in your psychomantium?

The background in the mirror is a uniform background when I start the meditation. The light effects of various shapes what I can see are visible after such time of meditation. Sometimes is shorter time when they appear sometimes it takes longer time. I recognised that it is affected by my inner mood. As long as I am well relaxed with a minimum of thoughts, there are many more of these lighting effects. I also perceive the 6th chakra intensively, as if it is also involved in watching in addition to the eyes.

I think that there is a steady flickering, in connection with this, I was thinking whether the flickering is too strong and intense, as there is a small bio fireplace because this room is not heated.

I don't have a psychomantium. I was not able to create an appropriate light source which is a key thing, as the C's said.

Well, perhaps you do have a talent for this, you just need to learn how to improve your psychomantium.

5 candles can give you a lot of heat, so a bio fireplace will probably not be necessary for heating purposes. Plus, its flicker will interfere with the flicker of the candles, so I would not use bio fireplace. It's important to understand that what we normally call flicker, scientifically, is not a flicker at all. You must have a steady flicker of about 10 Hz, and you cannot achieve that with a single candle.

I don't know if I have talent. According to Dr. Moody, the people he worked with, saw something in the mirror even for the 1st time, if I remember correctly he said that almost half of the people had a positive experience right from the start. That's why I was confused that I probably have somewhere a mistake, when I only see pictures that are not anything concrete, rather they are some kind of abstract pictures, running lights, etc.

I tried different combinations and even 5 candles at the beginning, because I think C's recommended 5 candles. In my case, the room is a bit smaller than mentioned in the transcripts, and with 5 candles, it seemed to me that the room and the mirror were too lit. I also noticed that the amount of light in the room and the mirror changed depending on whether the candles were on the ground or higher. At the moment, they are on 2 cabinets next to each other, which when sitting are at a height slightly above the head. I think C's also mentioned this.

Thank you, I will try to cancel the small biofireplace and I will try to play with the candles. Please, I don't understand what steady flickering with an intensity of 10Hz means

Ok, anyway thank you very much for your time and that you answered me, I realy appreciate it. I will continue and we will see.:-)🙏🌸

Perhaps it can work even for the 1st time if everything is set appropriately. Unfortunately, Moody hasn't given the exact description of his psychomantium.

If the room is too lit, perhaps your room has too much light reflection. With black sheets, I think that light would be much dimmer.

Next to each other? The candles should be behind you.

Perhaps this video will help you:

Yes, you are right, so it's necessary to experiment.

The room is painted black and so is the ceiling, so I'd rather be careful that no one goes there 🙃
And thanks for the video, I'll definitely watch it. I wish you a nice weekend 🌸

You can say that it's your movie theater room. :-)
But that is a difference between your room and Moody's room. He had his room covered with black sheets. I always wondered what is their purpose. Is it just to darken the room, or something more? Perhaps also to work as sound insulation? Or is there even a higher purpose?

If the light is too bright, place the candles lower. That will dim the light. Or block the light from coming directly into the side of the room where the mirror is. That part of the room should be dark.

Yesterday I was thinking of Nostradamus. I don't know if he solved the room in which he read from a bowl of water so precisely. I imagine him sitting in a room with a half-open window, which helps create the flickering of candles illuminating the room. I think it is important to meditate correctly. Maybe I am wrong I don't know, so I will contimue and try to experiment more. we will see.

Another interesting alternative to candlelight are smart RGB LED lamps. They can be controlled by a smartphone app. But how precise? Can the flicker frequency be controlled?

I installed one app for such lamps and the speed of flicker can be controlled, but only from 0 to 100 percent. It doesn't say how much is that in Hz. So you would have to have some device to measure the frequency of the flicker.

I would say that people in the past had amazing abilities for precision, even if they had no electronic instruments like we do.

I think it is important to meditate correctly.

Possibly. But what is the correct method?

I finally found what I was looking for. It's the Havdalah candle!

After some warm up in the beginning, the candle starts burning with a beautiful stable flicker. It does stop flickering from time to time, but that is probably because the man next to it is breading into it. And that is what we need, ladies and gentlemen. Although, I would probably make it in a different way, with a single big candle but with 5 braided wicks.

Nostradamus's father's family had originally been Jewish, but had converted to Catholic Christianity a generation before Nostradamus was born.

It's possible that Nostradamus was familiar with this type of candle and used it for his viewing.
