I bought a PEMF device end of 2013, a whole kit. I first searched what would be the best one known and found the one named "iMRS", which was manufactured at this moment by a Swiss company named MediConsult, they renamed to "Swiss Bionics" a few time after.
They visibly do not sell anymore the iMRS, but and upgraded version of it they name iMRS Prime, and one similar kit which seems to be more portable to connect to an android phone or tablet named Omnium.
But i do not have much comment to make about, or testimony, i did not bought it to try to solve a specific health issue but because i felt it would be useful in the future. What I do is that at some periods, i place the PEMF mat on my sofa, for a couple of weeks or months, during a period I have whether a series or a couple of movies i want to watch, i set the power to max + 60m which is the maximum then run it. Sometimes after 60m i start it again for 60m more. (or when my sofa calls me for a nap
)
I did not gather documents on the subject when i searched about in 2013, but remembered some keys facts, advises, or rules. For instance : avoid having metal on you when you are on the mat, and also, avoid to put the mat on something which contains metal. They way i summarize what this technology does is a bit simplistic but here it is :
When you are on such a mat which is pulsing the right frequency waves, it's like surrounding your body with an healing cocoon, or better say a magnetic cocoon which simulates the earth's life frequency, and under such cocoon any part if your body, any cell, is functionning better, improving anything. From the researches you can read, and the good post @Gandalf wrote with many excerpts from the book, it's more complicate than my simple explanation, and that you can visibly focus on specifc parts of the body that need to be healed, but also that if you respect a kind of biological (organ) clock, you can enhance a treatment for a specific organ or part of your body.
I had the idea to recontact the person who sold me the iMRS since a couple of time, and even more recently since the HBOT topic starting to be seriously discussed since end of April. He's Belgian (dutch speaking, but also english) and an official reseller of the products from Swiss Bionics. He has a small website in dutch which is at the following link.
There are a couple of good summarized information to find on the site of Swiss Bionics or the Belgian reseller. I'm personnally confident that this technology gives good results, and from year to year, the idea to open something came to my mind (i explained the idea in this post in the hbot thread)

I finally phoned a few days before to the Belgian reseller and I have to write him a mail with precise questions, i would like to refresh my knowledge on the subject and how to well use the device. When i told him I was doing 1h and sometimes up to 3h of the mat at max power he told me this was not a good idea, only if i did physical exercices during the day ... so yes, i have to review this.
One detail i well remember when he came to my village to make a demonstration, he came with his wife, and told us that a few years before she was in a wheelchair and Dr said she would never walk again, but she did a lot of PEMF, more than 1h per day, and she healed and was present at the demo, with no visible problem at all. I had a good feeling of this person and i finally decided to bought the iMRS kit and one of my cousin who was also there did the same. The whole kit was sold at 3500€.
You can see what this old iMRS looks like on this page (the device, the big mat, the half-moon shaped mat and the stick), it misses the helmet + the mask you can see on the 3rd picture on the page. I never use them, only the big mat. My cousin told me recently that for acute pain he regularly uses the stick and he said it works well for him.
What he told me on the phone is that for this new version of their device (iMRS Prime) they added infrared (or what they name Far Infrared - FIR), they also replaced the 3rd (applicator) device which was a kind of metal stick by a another device (the kit comes with 3 connectable devices = the big mat, the small mat and the 3rd device) - smaller means to be used to cure specific areas of the body. This 3rd device now looks like ... well, difficult to describe, you can view it at page 7 of the following PDF. (they named it "The punctual applicator"). They also replaced the "head kit", which i agree needed it, it's very difficult to put the current helmet they provided with my old iMRS (for sound) + the kind of glasses for the eyes + a 3rd device to hand on one's hear for heartbeat monitoring. Now you visibly have an all-in-one helmet.
I remember that the Belgian reseller told me many stories he witnesses from his customers, i'm confident that they were all true. He started this business of reselling these devices after having spent many years as a specialized technicians in installing big and expensive medical devices in hospitals.
