Putin Recognizes Donbass Republics, Sends Russian Military to 'Denazify' Ukraine

WAR IN UKRAINE DAY 20: TIPPING PROCESSES AMID ABSENCE OF HIGH-PROFILE DECLARATIONS OF VICTORY

The 20th day of the conflict was not marked by the new occupation of any major Ukrainian towns or cities by the Russian, DPR and LPR forces. At the same time, there were significant changes in the configuration of combat forces on the fronts. Russia was rotating units. It was bringing fresh assault units forward. Throughout the day Russian artillery and aviation were engaged massively.
At the same time, the AFU continued to withdraw its units from the Donbass region to the west, towards Zaporizhya, Dnipro and Kiev, but stubbornly defending well-fortified positions in the region.
To the north-west of Kiev along the bank of the Irpen river, the destruction of the Ukrainian armed forces’ stronghold continued by intensive artillery fire. The Ukrainian armed forces’ positions in Moshchun, where there is a strong fortification prepared during World War 2, were being hit.

Significant Russian Airborne Forces units were located in the town of Bucha, Kiev region, 7 km. north-west of Kiev. Apparently these strike units were preparing to break into the city. To the east of the city, fighting took place to the north-east and east of Brovary.

The Russian Army’s Orlan-10 UAV uncovered a concentration of AFU combat equipment and a large number of military personnel at a railway station on the outskirts of Chernihiv. Artillery struck a missile and artillery weapons depot, destroying the facility and up to 20 pieces of weaponry and military equipment.

In the Mykolayiv area, fighting was taking place to the north of the city, which was preparing to repel an assault. For its part, the Russian Armed Forces had so far limited themselves to advancing towards Krivoy Rog and Nikopol, and had occupied the remaining settlements of Kherson Region and declared full control over it.
Odessa was waiting for the Russian Black Sea Fleet to launch a landing operation. The AFU command in Odessa feared that the Russian Armed Forces were preparing a strike on Odessa north of Mykolaiv. Therefore, a significant part of the remaining AFU forces in the area was in the Odessa area, although in theory they could alleviate the blockaded Mykolaiv. In the night between 15 and 16 March, reports began to come in that the Russian Black Sea Fleet’s ships had launched an artillery and missile attack on the coastal zone in Odessa Region near the village of Tuzla.
Throughout the day, fighting continued around Kharkiv. In this section of the front, the Russian army also adopted the tactic of suppressing enemy resistance through massive artillery shelling and air strikes.

In the Izyum area, the Russian Armed Forces, advancing from Kharkiv, were clearly pushing the AFU towards Slavyansk. Bridges to the southeast of Izyum were being actively undermined in view of this. The Slavyansk-Kramatorsk agglomeration itself was under attack, which augurs well for the imminent start of fighting for the city.
The assault on Mariupol continued. The DPR units had advanced in a number of areas. At the same time, the Ukrainian armed forces continued to put up stubborn and organized resistance. The warring sides in the city were fighting to total elimination and there was little or no reporting of captured. The 53rd mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces had been almost completely destroyed. There were reports that the AFU General Staff was considering disbanding the brigade due to its massive losses.

According to reports from Mariupol, fighting inside the city was being carried out exclusively by the DPR forces. Russian units manned by soldiers from Chechnya had not entered the direct combat so far.

On 15 March, offensive units of the Donetsk People’s Republic pushed back the Ukrainian Armed Forces by 8km near Horlivka, in the north of the DPR.

An eyewitness in the ranks of the advancing units reported that “the enemy fled, leaving their wounded behind. I attribute this success to the unconditional professionalism of the commander in charge there. He is not a general…”. As a result, near Verkhnetoretske (Horlivka sector), the DPR forces managed to advance with artillery and aviation support and create a direct threat of blocking the road leading to Avdeevka, as well as opening the possibility of developing a further offensive towards Dzerzhinsk.

In the Avdiivka industrial zone, bordering Donetsk in the northwest, DPR units that had earlier launched an offensive were forced to pull back.
At the late evening of Mar. 15, from the Avdiivka side, the Ukrainian armed forces launched another strike with a Tochka-U tactical missile, this time at the large settlement of Makiivka, which borders in the north-east.

Fighting continued near Ugledar and towards Marinka-Kurakhovo. The Ukrainian Armed Forces were slowly retreating, but the resistance of Ukrainian units was not disorganized. The AFU command in this direction was trying to buy some time before retreating to the next line of defence.

The LPR troops continued fighting in the western part of Popasna and also occupied at least half of Rubizhne, north of Lysychansk and Severodonetsk. Fighting also continued there, as well as on the outskirts of Severodonetsk. Also, the republic’s troops are anchoring themselves on the administrative border of the former Kharkiv and Luhansk regions.
People trying to evacuate from Kyiv-controlled Rubizhne told how Ukrainian soldiers opened fire on their car, one person died and four were wounded. The family was evacuated in a car marked “Children”.
LPR forces removed the family from under fire and took them to a hospital. Ukrainian servicemen shot the boy’s grandfather. In the video, the great-grandfather, grandmother of the boy and daughter of the dead man (mother of the boy) talk about the incident. According to them, the rest of the family managed to survive only because Russian soldiers literally pulled them out of the targeted fire of the Ukrainian nationalists.

There are hundreds of testimonies from residents of liberated Volnovakha about how Ukrainian soldiers shot residential houses at point-blank range from tanks while the residents were in their basements. This was done for fun and to destroy as many buildings in the city as possible before retreating. AFU soldiers looted civilians and stole personal vehicles. Before retreating, they completely destroyed the city hospital. Patients and medical staff were kept in the basement of the hospital. Now more than 85% of all buildings and structures in the city are fully or partially destroyed. Units of the DPR MOD and emergency services are delivering humanitarian aid to the city and have begun demining and clearing the streets.
The videos below shows some eyewitness stories.

In Mariupol, it was possible to start evacuating civilians as DPR units occupied peripheral areas around the city perimeter and took control of the exits. Many people break through to the exits from the city at their own risk, choosing those roads inside the city where there are no Ukrainian soldiers.

The Russian Defence Ministry reported that the nationalists had mined all approaches to the city, blowing up bridges, residential areas in Mariupol, kindergartens and schools, medical facilities and other civil infrastructure.
In the video below, the Ukrainian “journalist” being live on air, called for Russian children to be killed first and foremost, referring to statements by his idol, the Nazi criminal Adolf Eichmann. Because then, he said, the children wouldn’t grow up and take revenge. If we were called Nazis, we should not be ashamed of it.., he added.
These statements explain very well the behaviour of fighters from nationalist units of the AFU, which they have demonstrated throughout the 8 years of conflict

On 15 March, there were serious staff reshuffles in the command of Ukraine’s Joint Forces Operation (JFO). Due to the defeat of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Donbas, Zelenskyy dismissed commander Pavlyuk and appointed his deputy, General Moskalyov, to this post. It can be assumed that the Ukrainian leadership lost confidence in him due to General Pavlyuk’s complete inability to manage the AFU defence, as well as the loss of Volnovakha and the blockade of Ukrainian troops in Mariupol.
However, the decisive factor for Pavlyuk’s removal was his unauthorized use of a Tochka-U tactical missile system with a cluster-type warhead on the city centre of Donetsk, which killed 21 civilians and wounded 37. This was a strong rehearsal for Ukraine’s political leadership, which was particularly sensitive against the backdrop of Kiev’s increasing need for external financial and military assistance from the West.
Laurentian, please attempt to format your posts when you're putting the contents of whole articles here. If you just copy-paste with one click - the text, images, videos and everything - your posts end up looking messy. We can no longer discern which is your text, and which is the article's.

Added: For your last post with the South Front article on 'Ukraine War Day 20', I placed the entire contents within blockquotes, added paragraph spacing where they were missing, removed paragraph spacings where they were unnecessary, removed 'Video' references and timestamps (these were the result of the videos not copying properly from the South Front page), and removed most images (I left those important to the article's information).

I looked up what history tells us about today, March 16:
1802 - United States Military Academy / West Point was founded, the first in the military training facility in the US
1921 - Treaty of Moscow was signed between the Soviet Union and Turkey
1926 - American Robert Goddard successfully launches the world’s first liquid-fueled rocket
1945 - US captures island of Iwo Jima from Japan in WWII
1968 - My Lai Massacre at the hands of US soldiers in Vietnam
2008 - Eighty-five-year-old Investment bank Bear Stearns collapses and is bought by J.P. Morgan Chase (at rock-bottom price)
2014 - Crimea voted to leave the Ukraine and join the Russian Federation

Wonder if any of these events are symbolically relevant to today

From Maria Zaharova spokeswoman for the Russian foreign ministry:
"Methodology:
On March 16, 1968, 54 years ago this day, the Vietnamese village of Songmi in Quang Ngai Province was burned down along with every last house and barn by American soldiers. 567 residents of the community (including 173 children, 182 women, including 17 pregnant women) were killed with extreme cruelty.
The truth about the crime was not immediately revealed. Washington denied everything. Everything changed after the photos were published. Ronald Haeberly of the Charlie Battalion of the Punitive Guards took pictures during the massacre, but he didn't show them to anyone for a year. It was not until November 1969 that he sold (capitalism) the photos to several American and European publications. They show completely peaceful people, peasants (it is clear from their clothes) with horrible wounds and mutilations: heads shot through, entrails torn out, faces distorted in pain. And nearby, American soldiers - laughing and setting houses on fire. That's when the grand scandal broke out. But as a result, only one soldier (William Kelly) was found guilty of the crime committed. He was sentenced to life-long hard labor, but after 3.5 years of house arrest he was pardoned.
Songmi is a terrifying reminder of how Americans fight wars. This story became public by accident. How many atrocities remained unknown only because the Americans left no living witnesses or testimony. The extent of the Vietnamese casualties can be seen in another episode. The American bombing campaign Rolling Thunder, a series of air raids on high-priority targets in the Viet Cong, had been launched somewhat earlier, but also in March 1965. The operation spanned three years and was the largest for the U.S. since World War II. Thunderclaps deliberately destroyed the civilian population, bombed cities and villages and civilian infrastructure - bridges, railroads and highways. U.S. pilots deliberately burned rice paddies to cause crop failure and starvation. According to various estimates, between 50,000 and 180,000 Vietnamese died under the bombs.
Why this historical reference?
The Americans have led the Kiev regime down the same road:
extermination of the unruly (in Donbass), blockade of the peaceful (across Ukraine), informational boycott (across the world).
Today, against the background of what is happening in Donbass, the leading Western media's ignoring of the tragedy in Donetsk, where a Ukrainian missile explosion killed 20 people and injured 30, it is useful to be reminded of the methods."

Wife chose March 16 as our wedding day. And this day is her birthday. It was not very smart of her because 1 gift for 2 holidays (I tactfully agreed:whistle:). My 2 cents.:wizard:

Not surprising that this come out of his mouth,
“We have to learn from Israel how to defend our country, with every citizen”
"Mr. Klichko !!! Your family + relatives too ?"

Let me guess where his family is right now. Is it,
Germany ?
Switzerland ?
US ?
Canada ?
How about Congo ?
I think you have it backwards: Tulsi bringing important issues to the public, while being slaughtered by the establishment, is very meaningful. She appearing on some website, not so much. By their fruits you shall know them.
I don't think WEF put her on the website just because they like her. Even from their won website they indicated that the candidates are carefully selected. Speaking of "fruits", I can't think of anything that made a splash from anything Tulsi has been doing. Talking yes, but that is cheap currency in DC. What she says is meaningless. Ron Paul has been talking and talking about Fauci's lying for quite a long time. Has anything changed ? NOPE, Fauci is still there.

An excellent example a slick tongue and PR management, followed by the jackpot is Obama.

I think that after a certain point one needs to learn the lesson, as Putin has. No one in US politics today can be trusted to do the right thing. They are all bought and paid for, as they appear to be in Germany.

Are you really suggesting that if someone speaks out about criminality and lies, and if the criminality and lies don't stop, the person speaking out is a fraud?? You better include all of us here as frauds too then.

I was watching some older "Best of Putin" videos and there is a thing where people come up with Chuck Norris type memes about him. Yes, there are some negative comments as well now because of Ukraine, but the positive comments and memes are still in the majority. I thought it was interesting how even Westerners seem to have some kind of intuition that Putin is one of a kind. Here are a few:

When Putin looks at the stars, the stars make a wish.

Putin is the type of person to read the terms and conditions and click "I disagree".

When Putin installs windows, Microsoft accepts his terms and conditions.

Putin is the type of guy who runs windows on a mac.

When Putin was 18 he left his parents house and told his father : Dad you’re the man of the house now.

If aliens ever gonna attack us, let this man lead humanity.

Next: Russian President: Putin catches an asteroid that is supposed to hit on Russia.

The german west Campaign on the Netherlands, Belgium and France has been posted already. So there you have a comparison. The russian campaign seriously slowed down. Maybe its not planed to finish the war ASAP?

For the economic sanctions to become "fruitfull", damaging the EU economy, the "Ukraine situation" must last for "some time". A soon end of the russian campaign would open up the possebility of trade recovery and hence european econmic recovery. Which is clearly not what our STS/NWO friends are after. They want a complete economic breakdown in europe so they can implement their plans. State owned digital money, AI controled social score system coupled with total surveillans, abolishment of free travel and private owenership of "anything". You know "the program".....

Which, off course, is a clear hint at Putin being part of the plan. No other action did play this well into the hands of the NWO as the ukraine campaign. And exactly at the right moment when inflation started to hit and FIAT money printing had been as its peak.

Yes indeed, the ruthless cabal is controlling everyone's every single move, thought, and emotion - and Putin is not-so-secretly one of their minions! I've even heard that there are Satanists in Russia. Satanists, I tell you. How could Putin let them operate there UNLESS HE WAS ONE OF THEM?!? Woe to us, all hope is lost! Putin, a secret Satanist.

You have a number of subjective ideas and assumptions, and are attempting to force the data to fit what you have in your head. I've been there before, and I think many of us have. It's an effect of COINTELPRO conspiracy theories of the Q variety. Lobaczewski calls it 'selection and substitution'.

What I'm reading is this:

(1) You think that there is a valid comparison between Germany's WWII campaign of conquest which spanned many nations of Europe with Russia's special military operation designed to de-Nazify and de-militarize a neighbouring puppet state that has been shown to be engaged in biological and even nuclear provocations, and threatening to join an openly hostile military alliance.

There is quite simply no valid comparison here. So the basis from which you are attempting to determine the 'required speed' of Russia's victory is erroneous, which means that your conspiratorial economic speculations, built on this erroneous foundation, are also highly questionable.

(2) You don't seem to understand that your perception of 'slowness' of Russia's military operation is based on a number of other factors:

(a) the Western media narrative that is lying every day about Russia's troubles and 'stagnation' or stupidity ie. 'not finishing the war ASAP', which is intentionally ignorant of the facts on the ground

(b) the customary use of indiscriminate violence and destruction in the wars of the past 20 years has leads to a widespread notion that war is a phenomenon that is necessarily both quick and brutal (this is the American carpet-bombing model)

(c) Russia has no interest whatsoever in killing the civilian population of Ukraine, as clearly expressed in the concept of 'Slavic brotherhood', and also basic human decency during the difficulty of armed conflict. So Russia's op is unfolding on the basis of its experience in Syria, from what I've read, when terrorist factions were embedded in the civilian population (using them as shields, as now in Ukraine), which necessitates a painstaking street-by-street 'mop-up' in order to prevent civilian casualties as much as possible

(3) The idea that cabal is all-powerful and that there is no way anyone can ever escape or resist, and that all actions on the global stage are purely STS-inspired... comes straight from 4D STS.

Are you really suggesting that if someone speaks out about criminality and lies, and if the criminality and lies don't stop, the person speaking out is a fraud?? You better include all of us here as frauds too then.
No. But Gabbard being mentioned on WEF for me at least does not make her someone that I would pin my hopes on. Obama said a lot of wonderful things and what become of that. Nothing good. This good cop bad cop is just standard game played in DC. Plenty of old video clips around of how righteously sounding was younger Biden, only to show that in the end he was just part of the DC Team.

Well it looks like WEF must have noticed the chatter about Gabbard+WEF. Twitter sure has.

1647447215218.png

I don't think WEF put her on the website just because they like her. Even from their won website they indicated that the candidates are carefully selected.

How do you suppose organizations like the WEF work? Initiate politicians into a satanic cult before they put them on their website or what? Programs like the Young Leaders Program are ubiquitous to recruit people into certain circles, for better or worse. The way it works is they invite all kinds of people who seem to be on track for a successful career, whether in politics, business, academia, journalism etc. They offer those who they perceive to be the most promising scholarships, conferences, networking events and so on, and sometimes they set up a program for all that with a fancy name. The Young Global Leaders program is just one of those. The goal is to help those people into positions, and profit from their contact with them in turn. This in no way means that all those who went through one of these programs are necessarily puppets of those who run them. It is impossible to tell how close the alumni of such programs are to the organization - some very close for sure, while many have never had anything to do with them.

So, Tulsi was one of many, many people who went through such a program, which is almost a requirement to make a big career these days. I'm sure she has participated in other programs as well. And I'm sure the WEF saw in her a super-smart, talented rising star. And I'm sure some of those who might have helped her with her career hoped she would become a mainstream-left politician who would support their particular faction of the elite. I'm equally sure that those people didn't get the return-on-investment that they hoped for.

But Gabbard being mentioned on WEF for me at least does not make her someone that I would pin my hopes on.

And would you put your hopes on her if she wasn't mentioned on the WEF site? What does "hope" even mean? That she will save America? I have zero hopes for anyone in that regard, no matter what. What I do have is huge respect for someone like Tulsi reaching the hearts and minds of millions, stoically facing the public character assassination, and having the courage to think for herself and stand by her principles.
