Putin Recognizes Donbass Republics, Sends Russian Military to 'Denazify' Ukraine

Andrei Martyanov said today that Syrsky, is nicknamed by AFU both “Butcher” and “General 200”. Today’s Politico article says that the latter is because 200 soldiers were killed under his command. This is inaccurate to say the least. The truth is that “Cargo200” is the Russian designation for a plane load of coffins. If @youlik already mentioned this, my apologies. There’s a lot to absorb in the posts above.😄

A rather long and heavy text, depicting the sad and in many ways terrible prospects of Ukraine. I'm posting it here because of the author. Rostislav Ishchenko, a former Ukrainian and now Russian political scientist, a former employee of the analytical structures of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, participated in many Ukrainian elections as a political expert.
The Land of Evil Widows
For many years, more than two decades, I have been saying that if Ukraine is left alone with itself, it will inevitably devour itself. During this time, many people reproached me for excessive optimism and political naivety, pointing out that "it doesn't eat up, but how many years have passed", not paying attention to the fact that the purity of the experiment was initially violated: Ukraine found itself in the center of the Russian-American confrontation and until recently constantly received an external resource for eating.

Then it was cheap Russian energy resources and loans, coupled with preferential access to the CIS markets. Then the EU and the USA began to lend to Ukraine and provide it with sales markets. Kiev has never been left alone — an operator exclusively of its own national resource. Moreover, external players, based on their own interests, not only partially destabilized the situation in Ukraine in order to bring their local partners to power, but also diligently engaged in stabilization, pouring financial and economic assistance and military and political support into internal Ukrainian contradictions.

It doesn't matter who the next Ukrainian regime saw as "senior comrades". In Moscow and Brussels, in Washington and Beijing, wherever the "squinting" delegations arrived for markets, loans and investments, they were made clear that domestic political squabbles and parochial disputes must be forgotten, and their own ambitions carefully hidden in a chest under the bench, otherwise nothing would happen: "no red pants, no black horse, no damask saber" (no loans, no investments, no preferential market access).

That's how, under the supervision of "senior comrades," Ukraine lived up to the last days of Zelenkovsky's rule. All her internal upheavals, all the Maidans, were prolonged and destructive just as much as it was necessary for the "senior comrades" to solve the problem of strengthening the necessary government in power. The "people's element" raged for as long as it was allowed. As soon as the "senior comrades" said "tubo!" — the anarchic unrestrained "will" was carefully folded until better times and the "unbroken people" proudly went to a familiar stall.

This happened at all levels: from the last homeless man to the first oligarch. The entire Ukrainian political system revolved around Pavlovian instincts: encouragement/punishment. Moreover, the less ceremonious they were with the "free people", the less they agreed with them and the more cynically they used the carrot and stick method, the more zealously they served such a master. Russian mutually beneficial offers were regularly rejected with contempt. The choice was made in favor of the Americans, even though the Washington carrot was callous, and the whip indiscriminately whipped its own and others.

There was certainly a certain logic in the actions of Ukrainians. Indeed, in the 90s and in the first half of the noughties, Russia not only and not so much did not want as could not pursue a policy similar to the American one, due to its outright weakness and resource insufficiency: all the resources that the government managed to mobilize were thrown at overcoming the consequences of the collapse of the USSR and the accompanying destabilization and economic degradation of Russia. Russia could offer joint work now with a lot of money later, the Americans offered money, albeit in debt, but now, and then they offered not to think about it, noting that the whole West is in debt like silk, but it is flourishing.

Ukrainians naturally made a choice in favor of the strong against the weak. Machiavelli, who advised acting on the side of the weak against the strong (because the strong, having defeated the weak, will know that he would have coped with this task without you, so he does not owe you anything and you will become his next victim, the weak will continue to be interested in confronting external dangers together with you), they do not We read it. Therefore, they reasoned linearly: if you refuse the Americans, it will hurt, and if you do not refuse them, it will be pleasant. Russia will have to cooperate anyway, because it has no alternative.

At some stage, these arguments corresponded to the actual circumstances, but not for long. Russia has started to create an alternative to cooperation with Ukraine. For the United States, Kiev was originally a stick for stirring the coals in the fire: the stick eventually burns down, but it is not a pity — it has fulfilled its task. However, Ukrainians living under the slogan "it has always been so and it will always be so!" did not notice all this.

For more than thirty years, from the beginning of 1992 to February 2024 (a long time, from the point of view of human life, but a brief moment on the scale of historical time), this tactic bore fruit. Gradually, they became less juicy, and the state resource was depleted, but there were fewer and fewer Ukrainians themselves, so in general they had enough, especially for the top level. But all good things end sooner or later, and by the beginning of 2024, the price /quality ratio ceased to satisfy the United States: they had to invest many times more in Ukraine than they received at the exit. Kiev could not even bind Russia with war and weaken it with Western help.

The United States reasonably decided that it was time to get rid of the toxic asset. And in their own traditional manner, they did not spend money on its disposal: Ukraine is located between Russia and Europe, which means that Russians and Europeans had the "honor" to clean up after Washington. Through the mouth of the assistant to the President for National Security, James Sullivan, the Americans simply said that they would no longer interfere in the personnel policy of Ukraine — sort it out, they say, whatever you want.

That's where it all started. Zelensky finally realized his dream and replaced the supporter of the maneuverable defense of Zaluzhny with the obedient Syrsky. Poroshenko immediately tried to organize a Maidan against Zelensky. They called on Zaluzhny to "protect", who did not need any protection, because he voluntarily and without resistance agreed to resign, agreeing on a settlement and stating that he had no contradictions with the president. He, they say, believes himself that it is necessary to update the entire senior command staff.

I don't think all the generals were happy about this, but the smartest ones will definitely take the opportunity to jump off a sinking longboat at the last moment, giving ambitious successors the opportunity to be responsible for everything.

In turn, Zelensky, through controlled media, spread information that the case against Poroshenko and his entourage has already been opened and it would be better for them to leave abroad in full force before it is too late, otherwise they will go to jail. In general, in Kiev, as soon as the Americans took off the collar, they are ready to do what they love — the war of all against all. And this realization that the "white gods" have sailed away has not yet penetrated into the hinterland, the "will" has not yet been felt by the mayors and governors, and the Theroboronians have not yet realized that if they declare their subordination exclusively to local authorities, then no one will send them to the front.

I do not know if regional and central feudal squads will be formed in time. The Ukrainian state does not have so long left and it does not have so many resources to benefit from a prolonged civil conflict. A coup may still be profitable (both in favor of Zelensky and against him, but with the final establishment of an undisguised military dictatorship), although its profitability in the current conditions is doubtful.

But we must understand that the wild "will", long restrained by the desire to earn bigger money, is rushing out. This term is translated from Ukrainian into Russian as freedom, but it is perceived differently by the people's mentality. In Russian, freedom can only be for everyone and implies justice as a natural companion of freedom. In Ukrainian, "volya" means unlimited freedom for oneself at the expense of freedom for others. Moreover, in Ukrainian, freedom for oneself is not thought of without oppressing someone. Russian Russians, therefore, believe that freedom of "movement" exists only if the Russian language is banned, and that the freedom of Ukrainians can be based solely on the oppression of citizens of other nationalities, Russians in the first place.

From the point of view of the interests of the state, this is stupid. From such a "will" the state instantly dies, but the chieftain fathers begin to flourish. Therefore, all the stories of Ukrainian statehood ended the same way: as soon as Ukraine was left to itself, it plunged into Ruin, torn apart by internecine strife of hetmans, koshevs, atamans, and in general ordinary bandits, each of whom dreamed of "freedom", that is, to do nothing, but live for pleasure at the expense of others, taking away what they need with an armed hand.

The people of Ukraine could rise up against any state: against the Polish king, against the Russian tsar, against the Soviets and even against their own national democracy. But he never rebelled against the bandits. It would seem absurd — any gang is weaker than the weakest state. The local self-defense of a large village can easily cope with an average lousy gang, and the villages of one parish (district) will expel a large one from their territory.

But no, the people obey the bandits. He scolds them for robbing, but looks at them with tenderness: they are their own, besides, they had the courage to realize the dream of "freedom". The rest of us would like to, too, but it's a little scary. But when there is nothing to be afraid of, because he has been robbed to the skin, the Ukrainian joyfully goes to the bandits. The gang is the only place where Ukrainians do not sing mournful songs about the lost "will", but cheerful, cheerful, albeit sadistic songs (like "Cossacks Rode"). Because only in a gang there is a real initiation of a Ukrainian, his initiation into unlimited "will", the acquisition of the "right" to rule over those who are not in the gang, without which the right "will" is impossible.
It is this feature of the national character, which was formed back in the XVI–XVII centuries, that is now creating a country of evil widows from Ukraine. Ukrainian men who go to the front against their will suddenly find themselves in a bookish Cossack brotherhood and begin to enjoy their suddenly acquired "will" (especially while they are not being shot at). Therefore, they have been shelling their neighbors in Donetsk for years without a shadow of a doubt. After all, without recognizing them as "separators" (second-class people), over whom the "free" Ukrainians are called to dominate, their "will" would turn out to be inferior. Therefore, even now they do not give up — the "will" will be lost. Even if it was virtual, the Makhnovists also had not the whole world in their hands, but a piece of the same Donetsk steppe, for which they also died and killed, trying to preserve their "will" as domination over the "unwitting". By the way, the Ukrainian word "slave" (slave) clearly opposes having a "will" of someone who does not have it, concluding them within the same system.

So, while Ukrainian men are wantonly dying at the front, finally enjoying not a "sip of freedom", but a whole jar of virtual "will" with herds of obedient "slaves", somewhere beyond the event horizon, Ukrainian women are vigilantly watching so that no one escapes being introduced to the "will" with subsequent disposal.

It happens this way: every woman initially strives not to let her man go free, as Bulba's wife tried not to let go of Taras and her sons' house. But as soon as a man is caught by the shopping mall and sent to "freedom", his woman immediately begins to dream that his "joy" would be shared by all other men of the village, town, city, country. She immediately begins to identify those hiding from the "will", to demand an expansion and deepening of mobilization, eventually women begin to think that they can go "to freedom" with their children. Therefore, the more mobilized, the more vigilant beings there are in society, making sure that no one passes this cup.

Therefore, villages have already appeared in the South-East of Ukraine, in which men simply ran out: everyone was sent "to freedom". And their number is growing rapidly, as is the area of distribution of such widow villages. At the same time, even after killing all the men, they do not let up. Anger overwhelms them, and they are looking, firstly, for someone guilty of all their problems, in order to kill him right here and immediately start looking for a new one (because the relief from killing is short-term and it is necessary to repeat the procedure in acceleration mode). Secondly, they are looking for someone else to send to get "freedom" and "slaves" to the people.

These terrible packs are becoming more numerous every day. One hope is that Ukraine will end faster than they can replace the shopping mall. For the ideal of the Ukrainian "will", its quintessence, the logical conclusion of the process is a boundless space full of decomposing corpses of former people who have reached the paroxysm of "will", and a flock of Ukrainian widows wandering through this space to the same natural end in search of prey escaping from the "will", constantly decreasing due to natural loss.

And if the dream of proto-Ukrainians had come true and the whole planet had accepted the "Ukrainian civilization", then the last point in the existence of this civilization would have been put by the last evil widow, who suddenly discovered that everyone was sent to "freedom", the meaning of life was exhausted, it was time for her.

The opinion of a German newspaper, with which I disagree. They say that another 10 million will flee Ukraine. I think that someone else will run away, of course, but many of those who ran away earlier will come back. The specifics depend, of course, on exactly how Ukraine's collapse will happen. With an optimal (if such a definition can be applied in this case) development of events, the number of Ukrainian refugees may decrease very much.
Germany is preparing to accept another 10 million refugees from Ukraine after Russia's victory
The German newspaper Die Welt, citing representatives of law enforcement agencies and parliamentarians familiar with the forecasts, reported that the German federal government expects the arrival of another ten million Ukrainian refugees if Russia wins the conflict.

The publication says that "in the event of a potential collapse of Ukraine, the German government believes that about ten million more people will leave the country." In this scenario, most of the refugees will go to Western Europe, and Germany will become one of the destination countries.

In addition, it is noted that the government's forecasts proceed from the fact that Ukraine has every opportunity to prevent such a development, but the situation is complicated by the delay in assistance from the United States.

Earlier, German Interior Ministry State Secretary Mahmut Ozdemir, in response to a request from a Bundestag deputy from the CDU/CSU opposition bloc (Christian Democratic Union of Germany and Christian Social Union in Bavaria) Torsten Freya said that in 2023, almost 300 thousand Ukrainian refugees entered the country.

Meanwhile, Bild newspaper, citing its own sources, wrote that German generals secretly visited the Ukrainian capital on the day of the resignation of the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny.

The German Defense Ministry told the newspaper that the purpose of the visit was "to exchange information about current defense needs and future military challenges."

Information about the removal of Valery Zaluzhny from the post of commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine appeared last week, but officially the office of President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky denied these media reports. On Thursday, February 8, Zelensky recorded a video message in which he thanked Zaluzhny for his work and said that the general would remain in his team, however, the dismissed officer was excluded from the headquarters.

Alexander Syrsky took over the post of commander-in-chief, and the foreign press drew attention to the unpopularity of Syrsky in army circles, where he received the nicknames "Butcher" and "General 200" for the numerous victims among the military conducting operations under his command.

And finally, the next realities of the Ukrainian army. In the video, Ukrainian soldiers, for the sake of entertainment, allowed their colleague with Down syndrome to fire a mortar. At the same time, they did not say a word to him about how to do this, and for some reason they were very upset and began to swear when he tried to shove a mine into the barrel by nose first. Of course, it's not good to say that, but somewhere I regret that they managed to stop him. If he has succeeded, there would have been fewer moral freaks in this world. Poor Down, of course, would have been hurt too.
Down in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, they gave him a shot from a mortar

A very interesting twist. I will not translate the first video. Everything is written in the title there, but the second video needs to be translated.
The mother and brother of the Commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Syrsky live on the outskirts of the Russian city of Vladimir. A neighbor of Vladimir and Galina Syrsky said that they regularly call each other via video link and General Syrsky himself speaks of Ukrainians like this: "They are cunning and sneaky. I can't stand them."
How is all this possible in a terrible, bloody Mordor?! I can't imagine. The city of Vladimir is very close to Moscow, about 200 km away.

And Now The Punchline

Anyhow, we finally get to the punchline, this is what the nosy neighbor had to say: Despite whatever the old parents aver about the paternal curse, they are actually in frequent touch with their son, and frequently communicate via video conferencing.

There is more. According to the nosy neighbor, she somehow overheard one of these zoom sessions, and overheard Syrsky himself saying the following unflattering things about his Ukrainian colleagues, as the neighbor is quoted in the Telegram Channel Mash:

«Мы работаем с украинцами, мы сидим в одном штабе, но мы всех их украинцев ненавидим», — цитирует женщину телеграм-канал Mash.

“We work with Ukrainians, we sit in the same HQ with them, but we despise all these Ukrainians.” Syrsky went on to describe his Ukrainian colleagues as “cunning” and “sneaky”.

The West wants Ukraine to be under full control of G7.
The EU is openly disrespected around the world ; a subject for mocking and today politically marginalized . One of the reasons why its sordid nomenklatura runs to America. Together these cynics cannot even produce enough shells for war. That the West wants Ukraine to be under full control of the G7 is an excellent example of fantasy based on wishful thinking and also on ignorance , because there is almost complete Russian military and psychological dominance over the Ukraine .

Soon the next ukrops "fortezza" will be blown away.
The Russian army almost cut Avdiivka into 2 parts, expanding the control zone in the city and on the flanks (MAP)

Ukrainian propagandists publish new maps and panic messages about the "extremely difficult situation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine."

Russian troops are storming neighborhoods in the south and north, continuing to knock out the enemy and develop success by cutting the railway, they have approached the "road of life" of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, now the enemy maintains contact with the garrison in the southern part using field roads.

"Incredibly heavy fighting continues, the Russians are making progress in many areas."

"In the northern part of Avdiivka, the Russians have advanced, heavy fighting is underway in the garden association area west of the railway and along Stepovaya, Nezalezhnosti and Sapronov streets."

"In the north of Avdiivka, Russian troops entrenched themselves in the territory of dachas west of the railway and advanced along Timiryazev Streets and Agricultural Machinery in a section up to 920 m wide to a depth of 200 m. Fighting continues east and south-east of the Avdiivka motor depot," Kiev military analysts write.

"In the south of Avdiivka, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation advanced south of Chernyshevsky Street and entered the territory of the Agrochemist art. A red zone has been added on a section up to 450 m wide and up to 300 m deep."

The advance of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation on the flanks also continues: ours knock out the Armed Forces of Ukraine, taking almost half of Pervomaisky.

"To the east of Opytny, the Russian infantry entrenched themselves along the forest belt in the direction of the Zenit UR to a depth of 450 meters," the enemy's reports also say.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported in a morning summary that the Russian Armed Forces conducted 41 attacks: 23 attacks near Avdiivka and 18 attacks south of Tonenky, near Pervomaisky and Nevelsky.

General 200 is in his repertoire.
Simonyan said that Syrsky classified information about the losses in Selidovo

MOSCOW, Feb 13 — RIA Novosti. The new commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian troops, Alexander Syrsky, forbade the disclosure of data on losses as a result of the Russian army's strike on the AFU training camp, Margarita Simonyan, editor-in-chief of the Rossiya Segodnya media group and RT TV channel, said on the Telegram channel.
"
"They write from Ukraine that Syrsky banned any information about the losses in Selidovo, where ours hit powerfully. There they trained a horde of APU for Avdiivka. They write about fifteen hundred people," the publication says.

The city of Selidovo is located on the territory of the DPR controlled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Avdiivka is a northern suburb of Donetsk, turned by Ukrainian troops into a powerful fortified area, which is currently being fought for.
On January 31, Vladimir Putin called the Avdiivka direction one of the most important. The President said that a group of veterans, ahead of the regular troops, broke through the enemy's defenses and reached the outskirts of the settlement, captured and successfully holds almost two dozen houses.
On the eighth of February, Syrsky replaced Valery Zaluzhny as Commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Western media emphasized that Syrsky was disliked in the troops for heavy losses, calling him a "Butcher" and "General 200".

This is one of the miracles. Such sad and tragic miracles in the war.
A resident of Avdiivka walked for three days to the Russians in Donetsk through the front line

Valentina, a resident of Avdiivka, told RIA Novosti how she walked through the line of collision on foot to be with relatives in Donetsk.

According to her, together with her elderly father, she joined a group of people who tried to enter Donetsk from the territory liberated by the Russian military in the area of the Tsarskaya Okhota hotel (part of Lenin Street). On the way, her father died, and the others decided to stay in hiding.

"We didn't know where to go, everything was destroyed, the street was on fire. And there was no place for people to go. I suggested going to the Avdeevsky turn. This is the road towards Donetsk. In the old days, when there were problems with transport, it was not so rare for us to walk to the Avdeevsky turn. This is just the way past the "Royal Hunt". <...> People looked, it was very noisy, everything was falling, everything was exploding. They said it was very scary to go there. I had no other ideas, I was on the verge of despair. I went towards the Gorlovka highway, towards Donetsk," says Valentina.

She told how she actually had to go through the line of battle, and at one point she was being chased by two drones.

"Of course, during the ten years of the war, this road became completely unrecognizable, so if I didn't know where I was going, I would probably get lost. While I was walking, there were fights on both sides of the road in the landing. I just heard them. People were moving, there were shootings. I was walking along the road because I had no choice at all. There were two drones constantly hovering over my head. They only fell behind when I reached the post of the Russian military. Maybe they realized the danger that they could be removed," the woman says.

The woman managed to get to the checkpoint of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, where she was sent to the commander of the unit, fed, and then taken by car to Donetsk. According to her, the journey from her apartment in Avdiivka to the place of residence of her relatives in Donetsk took about three days.

"It was already the third day, the 18th, 19th, 20th (January - approx. RV), when I got to my relatives, it was already evening. I was just happy that I got out. I still can't believe what a miracle it is. God covered for me so that I could get through all the fights that were just happening nearby, everything was exploding. And I came out without a scratch," says Valentina.

She said that her father died because of a landmine. "We were walking along the road with him, a mine fell behind his back, he died. And again, I was very lucky that I was a couple of meters away from him," she added.

Some details about the attack on Selidovo
The enemy command is completely at a loss. The messages are still confusing. At 11:30 a.m., a massive strike was launched by several Iskander OTR with a cluster warhead and Smercha missiles at Selidovo, where units of the 3rd Azov Assault Brigade were at that moment, hastily transferred from the Kremen direction to Avdiivka.
Shortly after the strike, when the enemy began to collect the wounded and dead, another crushing blow was struck. The number of destroyed militants of the formation is estimated at several dozen, wounded at several hundred.
The third strike is also reported literally at 3 p.m.
Now the entrance and exit from Selidovo is completely blocked, they are looking for gunners. Dozens of ambulances and corpse trucks.

Something from my childhood came flooding back. Let me remind you that I was born and raised in the same country as Estonians. Many peoples in our country then had certain characteristic features and among all it Estonians were considered slow, thoughtful, which in our teenage slang was called one simple word- brake. The next news is right about that. At the beginning of the third year of the active war, Estonian intelligence makes its conclusions.
Estonian intelligence reported on the superiority of Russia over Ukraine
The head of the intelligence center of the Estonian Defense Forces, Colonel Ants Kiviselg, told the Estonian broadcasting portal ERR that Russia has an advantage over Ukraine in attrition battles, as it produces more ammunition.

"Ukrainians are under great pressure, the situation is difficult. Last year, Russia produced 3.5 million shells, and this year that number is likely to increase to four million. If we talk about numbers, they can fire ten thousand shells a day for 365 days," he said.

The officer noted that the same situation is developing with military equipment and personnel. He also stressed that he does not expect a situation in the next couple of years when Russia will lose significantly more than it can produce.

Earlier, the British edition of the Financial Times wrote that the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine complain about the shortage of ammunition. As the interlocutors of the publication said, faced with a reduction in supplies, they are forced to limit the use of shells, while the Russian army is intensifying attacks.

The New York Times newspaper reported that, according to the West, without Washington's help to Kiev, there is a high probability of a gradual collapse of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the battlefield this year, and the Ukrainian air defense system without new supplies will be able to hold out only until next month.

In early February, Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu announced on a conference call with the leadership of the armed forces that the losses of Ukrainian troops in January exceeded 23 thousand people. He stated that Kiev is throwing the remaining reserves into battle and hastily conducting forced mobilizations to prevent the collapse of the defense. Russian units are moving forward and expanding their control zones. In particular, in the Kupyansk, Krasnolimansk and Donetsk directions, it was possible to liberate the settlements of Veseloye, Starch and Tabaevka.

Personally, I've heard it somewhere before. As always, there is nothing new in the sublunary world. Western historians and analysts have written similar things about the Fascist failure near Moscow in 1941. Allegedly, only because of abnormal frosts, the fascists failed to occupy Moscow. The old, tried-and-tested techniques, as we can see, are still being used with some funny amendments. In addition to the frost general, there is now a fog colonel. I would add a captain-diarrhea and a foreman-scrofula to this formation (Russians have a proverb when something gets in the way: if not diarrhea, then scrofula).
"General Frost and Colonel Fog" help the Russians: they break through the defense of the AFU in Avdiivka from the north and south (MAP)
The analytical resource DS working for the AFU publishes an analysis on the situation in Avdiivka:

"The Russians have 2 allies — General Moroz and Colonel Tuman. It is these factors that Muscovites often use when conducting assaults, the latter played an important role in recent days in the battle for Avdiivka.

On February 10-11, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, taking advantage of the fact that fog covered Avdiivka and the surrounding area, began assault operations in many places. Yesterday there was a saturation of personnel, and one Russian military installation almost reached Industrialny Prospekt.

Today they have increased the pressure. In particular, attacking Zenit (a fortified area based on an air defense base), attacks on which were repelled, unlike the flanks. In the north, Russians are pushing through the area of dachas and motor depots. Thus, they managed to cut the highway, which was already dangerous to use.

The situation in Avdiivka is getting worse every day. Logistics today is completely under enemy fire control, as a result of which arrival and departure to the city is a lottery. It is necessary to make decisions that, first of all, will save the lives of soldiers, and not turn Avdiivka into another "fortress" with songs and poems."

And the fighters from the Omega unit report: "Yes, unfortunately, the enemy was able to get to the same road. The situation has deteriorated significantly, logistics needs to be addressed! We are very worried about the guys who are there now, but we believe and hope that we will be able to fix the situation."

What happened to Jens? He ate something wrong, or rather, he got a new cheat sheet from real managers. Just yesterday, Russia was a terrible danger, just waiting to sink the sharpest teeth into the white and fluffy NATO members, and then everything passed. How? What has objectively changed?
Stoltenberg no longer sees threats to NATO from Russia
The Secretary General of the North Atlantic Alliance, Jens Stoltenberg, said at a press conference in Brussels that NATO does not see any immediate military threat to its member countries."The NATO countries do not see any immediate military threat to themselves," he said, stressing that this can be explained by a sharp increase in military spending by the alliance states. "Although we do not see an immediate threat of a military attack, hybrid and cyber threats remain. We are carefully monitoring these risks and vigilantly monitoring the border with Russia," he stressed.

Stoltenberg also expects the US Congress to approve a new package of assistance to Ukraine soon. "I welcome the EU's decision to allocate aid (in the amount of €50 billion for the next four years), and I expect that approval from the US Congress will follow soon," Stoltenberg said. He stressed that during his last visit to the United States at the end of January, he held several meetings with Republican congressmen, urging them to support the package of assistance to Ukraine. "I heard from them words of broad support for NATO and Ukraine. I welcome the decision in the Senate (on approving aid to Ukraine), and I expect that this will soon be followed by a decision of the House of Representatives of the US Congress," he said.

On February 13, the U.S. Senate, with the support of several Republicans, passed a bill providing for the allocation of $95 billion in aid to Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan. However, this package bill does not contain provisions to tighten controls on the southern border of the United States. The Speaker of the House of Representatives of the US Congress, Republican Mike Johnson, indicated on Monday that the document prepared in the Senate does not address the border crisis, the "most serious problem" facing the United States. In addition, Johnson, who holds the third most important post in the US government hierarchy, recently called the version of the bill developed by senators "obviously impassable" in the House of Representatives. Subsequently, he also confirmed that he was not going to put this document to the vote at the moment.

Earlier, the permanent representative of the United States to NATO, Julianne Smith, said that the selection of a new Secretary general of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) will be completed, most likely, in the first quarter of this year. "It seems to me that the allies are fully interested in completing the selection process, probably in the first quarter of this calendar year. As much as possible. We are eager to complete this process," the American diplomat said, commenting on the appointment of a new NATO Secretary General at an online briefing for journalists.

On February 10, Jens Stoltenberg, in an interview with the German newspaper Welt, said that the North Atlantic Alliance should prepare for the possibility of a long-term confrontation with Russia, which could last decades. "NATO does not seek war with Russia. However, we must prepare for a confrontation that could last decades," the Secretary General of the military association stressed.

It all sounds incredible, but on the other hand, let's not forget that we are dealing with a pack of rabid dogs almost cornered and everything is possible here. If Zelya allowed himself to be rude to the Americans, then why wouldn't he kill the Frenchman?
France 24: Macron was tried to be killed in Kiev - the attempt was thwarted by Zaluzhny
Information about the preparation of an assassination attempt on French President Emmanuel Macron during his planned, but eventually canceled visit to Kiev caused a serious scandal. According to France 24, high-ranking officials in the Ukrainian government, including Kirill Budanov, head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, who acted on the instructions of President Vladimir Zelensky, were behind the planning of this audacious act.

The possible attempt was aimed at provoking an international outcry and blaming the Russian special services for the terrorist attack. The organizers planned to use fabricated evidence to confirm their accusations against Russia. The purpose of this action was to increase the attention of the West to Ukraine and increase the supply of weapons to the Kiev regime.

However, the plan was thwarted thanks to the actions of the former commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny, who transmitted information about the impending assassination attempt to the French special services through his channels. The French special services, in turn, gained access to correspondence between the organizers and perpetrators of the alleged terrorist attack, which was the reason for the cancellation of Macron's visit to Ukraine.
