It really looks that the mass media are preparing us for something, exactly like they did with covid and social influence: constant brainwashing to induce strong processes of peer pressure, conformity, compliance.

Everywhere you look, you can see Ukrainian flags, and marks of support for the ukronazis. Flags on tv, flags on apps, profile pics, messages on all social networks, and everyone is "forced" to say something to be "socially accepted". It's like Je suis charlie all over again.

And of course if you are a youtuber, instagram influencer, or public figure, your MUST say something in favor of the Ukrainians and against Russians.

I still remember when in 2012 Russia was already very criticized, but I could still go outside with a Putin tshirt or Russian flag tshirt.
Now it's impossible of course. The same happened for covid, because in the beginning there were different opinions accepted, but after the mass media brainwashing, if you didn't comply, you were "evil".

I don't think this preparation is only a result of what is happening in Ukraine. I think it's also a preparation for something else that directly targets us.
And if they needed extreme social polarization again, they could repeat a 9/11 somewhere and say it was Russians (another MH17 crash maybe?).

When I talk to people in the city, or in my family, many of them think that even if the USA is not beneficial for us in any way, it's still "unquestionably better than dictatures like Russia or China".

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was pleased that Prime Minister Naftali Bennett extended an offer to Russian President Vladimir Putin to mediate between the two Eastern European countries following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Kyiv’s envoy to Israel said Monday.

In a briefing with reporters, Ukrainian Ambassador Yevgen Korniychuk claimed that Putin was not thrilled by Bennett’s offer when the two leaders spoke by phone Sunday. However, Korniychuk said Ukraine believed there was still a chance that Russia could take up the Israeli initiative.

“At the moment [the Russians] think they can conquer us,” Korniychuk was quoted as saying by Hebrew media, “but of course they won’t succeed.”

The remarks came as Ukrainian and Russian officials met for talks on Ukraine’s border with Belarus, amid high hopes but low expectations for any diplomatic breakthrough to end the biggest land war in Europe since World War II.

Korniychuk predicted Putin could reconsider Bennett’s mediation offer if the talks in Belarus fail to yield a breakthrough.

Ukraine suggested last week that Israel could mediate talks, owing to its close ties with both Kyiv and Moscow. Putin reportedly did not take up Bennett’s mediation offer during their conversation Sunday, which the Israeli premier initiated.

The phone call marked the first time Bennett and Putin have spoken since Russia invaded Ukraine on Thursday. Bennett spoke with Zelensky in a phone call on Friday.

At Monday’s briefing, the Ukrainian envoy said Kyiv has been pushing for the past year for Israel to mediate talks between Zelensky and Putin regarding the years-long war in eastern Ukraine, including when former prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu was still in office.

“Netanyahu told us that he can mediate between two sides that want to reach an agreement but clarified to us that he only sees one side that wants an agreement, and that is Ukraine,” he said.

Korniychuk also said Jerusalem has not opposed the Ukrainian embassy’s efforts to recruit Israeli volunteers to fight against invading Russian forces and thanked Israel for sending 100 tons of humanitarian aid, the first batch of which is due to be shipped Tuesday.

The Foreign Ministry said the initial shipment would include 17 tons of medication, medical equipment, tens, jackets and water purification systems, among other forms of assistance.

“We appreciate everything Israel has done for us,” Korniychuk said according to the Haaretz daily. “It is difficult to describe how complex it is for me to be the ambassador to Israel when my prime minister is Jewish, because he has high expectations of Israel, more than Israel can provide,” he said.

Unlike many other democracies, Israel has not announced it will supply Ukraine with military assistance and Bennett reportedly turned down a request from Zelensky to do so.

Israel has been careful in its comments on the conflict and Bennett has avoided criticizing Moscow publicly. This is believed to be at least partly due to its need to work with the Russian military presence in neighboring Syria.

An Israeli citizen was shot dead as a convoy he was traveling in outside Kyiv came under fire, apparently by Ukrainian troops who mistook him for a Chechen militant.

The man’s family identified him as Roman Brodsky, a father of two and DJ who had been living in Ukraine with his family.

He was the first Israeli citizen reported killed in the Russian onslaught against Ukraine, which Moscow launched last Thursday.

The Foreign Ministry said Brodsky was part of a convoy of vehicles traveling to the Moldovan border to leave the country. He and his partner were intending to then fly to Israel.

Despite Ukrainian soldiers shooting Brodsky, his family told the Channel 12 news outlet that they blame the “dictator” Vladimir Putin for his death. His father told the station that they want help bringing him for burial in Israel, and asked that Israel do more to ensure that people who are still alive can make it safely to the Jewish state.

Brodsky came to Israel at age 13 with his family. He lived in the country for 27 years and had two small children. He returned to Ukraine about 2 years ago to start a business in Kyiv.

New York (CNN Business)RT, the Russia-backed media outlet infamous for promoting Vladimir Putin's talking points, has seen its influence significantly diminish in recent days as cable carriers and social media companies have taken swift measures to block its reach.

The actions taken by television providers and technology companies against RT have dealt one of the largest blows to the outlet in its history, reducing the Kremlin's ability to peddle its narrative at a pivotal time when its international standing has fallen as a result of its unprovoked war on Ukraine.

Meta, the parent company of Facebook (FB) and Instagram, and TikTok separately announced some of the harshest measures taken thus far against RT on Monday. The social media companies said they had moved to block RT in Europe. The outlet's accounts will no longer be accessible to users on that continent through those companies' services, depriving RT of crucial venues to advance its messaging.

Meta had previously announced that RT would no longer be eligible to monetize its content on the company's platforms.

Google (GOOG) on Sunday also announced that RT would no longer be able to earn ad revenue on its platforms. YouTube, which is owned by Google, has also been a key platform that RT uses to amplify its content's reach.

Television providers across the world are also dropping RT.

Two of Canada's largest television providers, Rogers Communications and Bell Canada, said Monday that they have made the decision to remove the channel from their lineups, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

1+1 Media Group, a Ukrainian media conglomerate, said Monday that it had written a joint letter with other Ukrainian media companies to television and other providers imploring them to scrub Russian news channels from their services.

"More than 20 local providers from Poland, Australia, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Canada, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Bulgaria, Germany, as well as representatives of international corporations have already responded to the request," 1+1 Media Group said in a press release. "As of 26 February they have started the turning off of the propagandistic TV channels on their satellites, cable networks and across other platforms and sources."

1+1 Media Group said some of the providers have started to air the United News Marathon, a nonstop stream of news produced by the company with other Ukrainian media outlets, in place of the channels it previously carried.

Ofcom, the UK media regulator, said Monday that it had "opened 15 new investigations into the due impartiality of news programs on the RT news channel."

"We have observed a significant increase in the number of programs on the RT service that warrant investigation under our Broadcasting Code," Ofcom said in a statement.

In the US, RT still continues to have a foothold. Both DirecTV and DISH broadcast RT America, the US version of the outlet, to their customers.

When asked for comment, a DISH spokesperson told CNN, "Our thoughts are with all the people of Ukraine, and particularly with our team members in the country. We are closely monitoring the situation."

The DISH spokesperson did not elaborate beyond the brief statement.

A DirecTV spokesperson did not respond to a request for comment.

A handful of RT staffers have also publicly quit the network in recent days, adding to the outlet's turmoil.

"In personal news, I have resigned from RT with immediate effect in view of recent events," Danny Armstrong, a former correspondent for the network, wrote in a tweet.

"In light of recent events, earlier today I resigned from RT with immediate effect," tweeted Jonny Tickle, a former staff writer.
A spokesperson for RT did not respond to a request for comment from CNN.

I have echo of rumour of a false flag in Paris, or not far from Paris, imputed to the Russians, in a near future.

I can't believe it, it is though I am living in two different realities in Canada. After the events of the past 3 weeks, all the totalitarian measures have been forgotten, and those that were protesting against the truckers have now directed their venom against Putin and the invasion of Ukraine. Protests are being held in all major cities in Canada, although not as large as those in support of the truckers.

This is speculation on my part, but could the reason that NATO has been holding back, even though they have been beating the drums of war for weeks. They do not have the support and backing of the people at this time. A false flag event that could possibly secure that support. As history has demonstrated to time and again. In times of imminent societal, financial and/or political collapse, war for these psychopaths seems to be the only way, to put the final nail in the coffin and restructure society. Could be something and nothing, just had to share my thoughts.

The results of the blood testing will not be provided to the study participants.

Such a procedure cannot cause death. However, according to the project report, “all volunteer deaths will be promptly reported (usually within 48 h of the PI being notified)” to the Georgian Military Hospital and WRAIR.

As things are, anything can happen... although if I think it would be unnecessary at this time, it would ignite even more the spirits and leave a worse vision before the world of Russia without giving it room to show a little that its procedures and objectives are sensible and real... In the section of this interview, entitled"Why now?" JP actually asks a good question on what the West did wrong. He knows it always takes two to tango in conflict, and is trying to understand the West's role in this conflict. So that's different than the idea that the West is innocent. What wants to know what our responsibility is in creating this mess.

Kagan's response is that "Putin has been carrying forward operations to take control of Ukraine since 2014."

Yes, it was Putin who tried to take down Ukraine in 2014, implying Maidan was all his fault, etc. No evidence given of course.

And then to clarify his position, Kagan says that, "There's no straightforward explanation to why Putin decided he needed to invade now, which is the question that preoccupies me as someone who's focused on Putin's calculus."

those planes won't do anything against russian aviation, weapons it's ok to send for "appearances" but this is something else and there was apparently a lot of division and it was not specified in the case of Poland, while other governments denied it... plus i think maybe things are about to get more difficult for ukraine, but i can't say how much further this will spread.
