Quick Question for Everyone

Death with Scythe :scared:
Seriously I don't know why but yeah definitely that was the first image that came to my mind.
Also Halloween started to be popular in my country only few years ago , like 4-5 maybe more but not much.

When you read the word (or hear it) "Halloween".... what is the first image that comes to your mind? Just one or two words is all I'm looking for.
Large full moon
Silhouette and darkness
Gnarled twisted tree
Cold and frost
Candles and firelight

I think of all hallows eve. The veil would slightly lift an opening into the "other" world. A night where all the stars and planets line up to enable schtuff of mystical nature...

Movie "Halloween"

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0077651/

Music from the movie, mask, knife, blood. Remembering fear of the movie when watched it as a kid.

In my country there is no halloween, and movie "Halloween" was transcribed as "Night of the Witches".

Yeah me too, Michael Myers was the first thing to pop up!

Wispy ethereal phantoms travelling in the dark to a place I know not where - I always immediately think of All Souls Night in relation to Halloween ( R C primary school education and age probably.)

This was the first thought that came to mind. Had i seen this as a kid with my friends, (whom at time in the 60's we went out without adult supervision) we would all have turned as white as the pillow sacks full of candy we carried. The many thoughts as reiterated by previous post to let any child out would parental, care would be unheard of and unsound, as well as to check all contents of the bag of the little ones, goodies before they consumed the treats, that could be tricks given the times we are in.
