Rare mishap during live concert

This was awesome! Thanks for sharing. The way she handled the situation with such humor and good spirit shows real character. I also love musical improvisation.

Having performed in front of an audience before, I can tell you from experience that knowing out to deal with technical difficulties and also recovering from mistakes without getting upset is an important skill to have. It can also be applied off stage to our everyday lives, in principal.

So graceful in dealing with that mishap! When she said "might as well experiment", I thought it was an excellent way to use curiosity to face a problem. This makes me want to practice with my keyboard.... thanks for sharing! :)

GREAT FIND! This woman is a consummate professional. As a musician, it is nice to see a big name 'roll with the punches' and not have a meltdown when something goes wrong (which I have seen, unfortunately). I had a nice, genuine lol moment while watching this.

This was brilliant! Very talented musician and patient person here... I was thinking about the problems that we make are sometimes (or a lot of times) in our heads, as the responses and how we act towards "difficult" situations. Thanks Palinurus!

Great video, she really gave amazing example of how to deal with surprising and potentially disastrous situations with calm and humour. :)

Kudos on how she handled her pedal problem. A true virtuoso, as well as a talented performer and pianist.
Thanks Palinurus.

Thanks for the video Palunirus!
I really appreciate when classical musicians have the opportunity to improvise.
Which can often happen especially in the stage, opera.
I have seen things, like pants falling of in the middle of a dramatic moment and you can't laugh,
you can just turn away and try to act like sobbing...
Then there are "nice" colleagues, pranksters when they bored, they making you laugh when you not supposed,
I had that also. It's remarkable. :D

Musicians have a great sense of humor. I can attest. :P

That is the first thing I learned when I studied music, just keep going, no matter what.
"You don't stop and don't you DARE to be upset! "
That's what my teacher used to say!

:D

Thanks for sharing this! I liked how entertaining people is seemingly in her music and in her heart!
