re: Using India to keep China at bay

I've also interacted with a broad cross-section of Indians, and they are weasels too. But at least they have a sense of humor (unlike the Chinese), and they're not so stuck-up (they will talk to you).

However, all these Asian cultures are heavy, top-down, don't-think-for-yourself places, and to see them come out on top is just depressing, very depressing. But if you have to pick the least evil of the bunch, yeah, India would be either #2 or #1.

John, I hope you can admit that those are some pretty wide generalizations you're making. You've identified over a third of the world's human population as "weasels." Then you suggest that these two nations of weasels are of a kind with the remainder of Asian cultures -- that's half of Earth's population. How do you think the other continents rate on the weasel scale, the stuck-up scale, and the evil scale?

<< top-down, don't-think-for-yourself places >>
That's how I think of the US, which is where I live, but I'm trying to be objective about that viewpoint.

<< to see them come out on top is just depressing >>
What is the competition, in your view?
