Research shows histones play an important role in epigenetic inheritance

Just wanted to share an idea that popped in my head a few days ago.

While reading this recent article:
http://www.sott.net/article/303706-Research-shows-histones-play-an-important-role-in-epigenetic-inheritance

"If you have diabetes, or cancer or even heart problems, maybe you should blame it on your dad's behaviour or environment. Or even your grandfather's. That's because, in recent years, scientists have shown that, before his offspring are even conceived, a father's life experiences involving food, drugs, exposure to toxic products and even stress can affect the development and health not only of his children, but even of his grandchildren."

This bit clicked in my head when I was reading up on articles recently mentioning the "Strauss–Howe generational theory" and the Fourth Turning.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Strauss%E2%80%93Howe_generational_theory

What clicked for me was that the cycle of 4 Turnings that Strauss-Howe abstracted from analyzing data PLUS the recent findings about histones possibly playing a role inter-generational environmental inheritance would line up quite nicely with the idea that man is stuck in a "time-loop" which he must work to free himself from.
As long as the 4 Turning cycle persists, the traumatic effects of a Fourth Turning will carry over for generations until the same traumatic effects occur again the next Fourth Turning comes around.

So... working on the self and changing your DNA with diet, exercise, meditation, exposure to natural habitats (hugging trees!), reading SOTT (i.e. seeking out true news) are worthwhile (and necessary!) efforts to free oneself.

And in-line with this recent bit from the Cass transcripts:

(Galatea) So basically, be the change that you want to see.

(L) Yeah. Be the change you want to see. I guess begin to model yourself on the people that you want to be LIKE or be WITH.

(Pierre) It goes beyond presentation and appearances. With those medieval guys, for example, that's the visible manifestation of what they like, what they think about...

(L) Yeah, how you present yourself is about what the values are that go with certain ways of appearing, like having self-respect, care for yourself, external considering, and so on. I mean, some of the hairdos these days are just completely... They disrespect the fact that they're a woman or the fact that they're a man and most of all that they are human beings.

(Pierre) And even the fundamental notion of beauty. It's almost like disrespecting the universe.

(L) So these are the kinds of small changes people can make. And by making these changes, what then happens?

A: Will attract the new reality incrementally.

I can imagine that environmental inheritance can work the other way around; well-being can also be an inherited environmental effect. So "Be the change you want to see in the world" can work towards incremental changes for the better.

Sorry this though isn't that well articulated. Just wanted to jot this down before I forget and I'm still at work. :-)
