A very good and enriching conversation on history of USSR/Russia's relationship with the West, futile efforts on the part of Russia (since ever), history of Russophobia, and what it bodes for the future: Neutrality Studies' Pascal Lottaz talks with Michael Jabara Carley
Seems he retired as of September last year.
Anyway, started watching Professor Michael Carley in a recent interview (Dec) with Prof. Glenn Diesen: Rewriting WW2 - Historical Revisionism in Geopolitics. It begins to look at Stalin and his wiliness to work with western allies (the rest is history of the pen, albeit revised).
Michael Jabara Carley is a retired professor from the Université de Montréal, focusing primarily on Stalin the Soviet Union. Prof. Carley argues that the West's bold historical revisionism to fit current geopolitics results in failing to learn the wrong lessons from history.
