If that was the intent, they clearly missed the mark.
Maybe I’m too cynical these days, but …
1. If Psychopathy is a maladaptive trait (and we know it is, as STS ultimately consumes itself), and psychopaths have most recently been estimated to account for 6% of the population (maybe up to as much as 10%,) then a bottleneck could just as logically indicate that women were actively selecting FOR psychopathy.
2. Why are female genetics not factored in to the totality of the gene pool? Is psychopathy only a male trait?
3. The psychopaths are hard at work and winning. Reality does not support the hypothesis.
I don’t mean to be harsh.
Cynical? Nah. In innumerable ways, cynics are usually objective realists. Most of the modern conception of humanity, civilization, progress, et.c. is just a fanciful conglomeration of a bunch of ideals, that have no basis in reality, henceforth the detestable "disenfranchisement" that those who actually perceive and experience what reality actually is, is usually ridiculed out of popular conception or discussion.
As for your points, here's just a few of my musings that I've had thus far:
1) Psychopathy is
not a mal-adaptive trait. Furthermore, it's less of a genetic trait, and more of a feedback process that self-propagates, akin to many biological correlatives, which have physiological, psychological, social, and meta-species mechanisms.
Consider how it is advantageous to be a psychopath in modern society:
A) If they're
homo sapiens, then they get automatic inclusion into human society, of any sort. The distinction between man, and human is something that has been entirely forgotten to moderns. As long as they look like you, and can interbreed with you, no one will largely consider anything to be "off" unless you get onto say Candace Owen's "beef list".
B) When every single interaction in any sort of human society has largely devolved into a transactional, or mechanistic interaction, it leaves very little for genuine humanity, human interaction, and discernment, to develop. IF everything's a zero-sum game to you, and IF the system in which you dwell also treats it that way ... guess what happens when your psychos get any modicum of socio-political power or influence --- they'll just turn into leeches and suck everything dry, along with influencing matters to suit their interests in the long-term.
C) What is humanity's immune system to this cancerous, psychopathic epidemic? Non-existent, perhaps.
D) Once you've been convinced to invest in a system of society that directly promotes, if not indirectly propagates psychopathy (objective metrics of social success, such as wealth, power, influence, along with the propagation of genetic lineages through time), you've basically setup the entire human population into the trap of its vicious cycle ... Psychos will indelibly achieve success, multiply their numbers, and spread throughout your society, particularly towards those esteemed positions of social hierarchy. Then they'll cause deleterious effects to the society en large, eventually causing it to implode and self-destruct, to which they'll then uproot, take up their wealth, and migrate to a different region when they'll start the process all over again.
2) That Y-chromosomal bottleneck refers to the 23rd chromosome diploid pair, in the human
genome? If I'm not mistaken, that Y-chromosome codes for very little physiological results, with the end result of human reproduction, resulting in a male, being more-so a recombination of either parent's genes from all of the other chromosomal pairs, rather than being specifically the sole responsibility of a withered 23rd Y-chromosome to yield an overarching effect that is greater on the resultant offspring than every other chromosome.
So humans choosing to do selective breeding? I wouldn't say it was a willful choice back then, since you can only do such while in the full knowledge of what you're doing, and also in what you will propagate through time.
Putting it in better words, if your favorite gender can be convinced to cull and subsequently conduct selective breeding practices, whose to say that they can't be subsequently convinced to let 4D STS favored offspring from being say adored when they mature? Meaning, how do they make their choices in the first place?
The epidemiology of it occurring isn't so interesting to me, as to the mechanism of the new paradigm of selection.
Having a 1:17+ male/female reproduction ratio signifies to me that you're artificially selecting for a whimsically small set of DNA recombination, to then have a disproportionate effect on the genetic makeup of the species, over the course of many generations. Once again, having humans do this to each other isn't all that interesting either -- you've been doing it for ages.
But having 4D STS direct your reproduction efforts along lines that benefit their long-term agenda IS very interesting, since they can screen/know the probabilities of genetic recombination, or genetic diversity, before they manipulate humans into doing the work for them, since it's not like humans can figure these things out without having sufficient technical capabilities. Breeding for psychopathy? Nay. Breeding for docility and domestication. That's what modern civilization requires of its constituents, and it's what I'd say 4D STS is aiming for - a docile pool of livestock, that is genetically incapable of doing anything else.
3) They're only winning because the systems that humans seemingly rely on (your legal, financial, political systems, and then some), have been crafted to benefit those types. Yet, it also underlines the point that the almost near entirety of people on this planet do not know what is going on.....
