I do wonder why when I am humming the music I sound better than when I am singing the lyrics. It is also easier to convey emotion while humming IMO, but maybe that's me. 8 pm it is!

I've noticed the humming thing too. It's like I can match the tune better with just humming. But I'd think that actually singing the words would have more of an effect. Maybe humming just for practice?

While humming, we have more control over the breath for maintaining the right pitch. A probable good practice before singing the lyrics would be to sing an open syllable, like "ahhh" or "lalalala" in order to get used to a different breath while maintaining the right pitch as much as possible.

Thought I would report that the crystal charging sessions are completed and tomorrow we begin the selection process. Obviously, with the overwhelming response, we are not going to send out to everyone from the first batch. We already have the second batch in preparation.

We've made a glass platform with legs that will be placed over the stones and will have a few basic words to help indicate written on there. Everybody's request will be printed on a separate sheet of paper with all details, organized by greatest need at the top. We'll go through the requests, selecting the right stones, and then packing them up.

So, that's the report for the present!

That sounds great, thank you for putting all that work into this project. Hopefully these crystals will help many more people get through these dark times.

Thank you for that link. That is a great endorsement for the ketogenic diet. It might help some of us get through to others who are skeptical. At least Meryl Streep is a well known personality who is using the fame for a very worth cause of information and caring. :)

Yeah, I'm not really aware of the work Meryl Streep do on promoting ketogenic diet. I watched the movie ...First do no harm, which talk about an epileptic child who gets on ketosis, but it's from 1997... Maybe she does a great job but on a more restricted level... Anyway I will sing again with her !

I'm from Ecuador and I would like the next question is made: Two earthquakes occurred, one of 7.8 in the Pacific Ocean near the equator line on the continent, a month after another quake of 6.8 to a few kilometers north of first. If earthquakes will continue ascending along the coastal of the continent for some arrangement of plates or is there a pattern to follow these earthquakes? Thank you.

Welcome to the Forum :) We would appreciate it if you would post a brief intro about yourself in the Newbies section, telling us how you found this forum, how long you've been reading it and/or the SOTT page, whether or not you've read any of Laura's books yet, etc.

As far as your question for the C's, we have a section on the Forum for just that purpose. We also have an ongoing thread on Earthquakes around the World that has some interesting discussion on earthquakes and how they may occur.

Additionally you can read the book Earth Changes and the Human Cosmic Connection by Pierre Lescaudron and Laura. It gives a good possible explaination for why the earth seems to rebel like it does now.

It seems to me that most peoples are busy in the morning to prepare for the day- going to work or school, or start something new.
But 8pm is the comfortably resting time for most people, probably Laura consider all that and decided on that reasons.
Like Laura said singing before bedtime is probably good for the vagus nerve to work.
Please let us sing together 8pm everyday and you can sing 8am too!

What if time is not so critical but the intent and relation to the meaning of it?

In Cloud Atlas there was a song that linked the stories through lives together.
It brings tears to my eyes thinking about the movie and how we very well may be in a similar situation. As the C's said, a past or future life could be now and so on. It boggles the mind and stirs my heart:
