This was a great analysis of Russell Brand's message and the comments about the truth being universal were spot on imo. Hearing about putting people on pedestals reminded me of the Moses legend and turning these "leaders" into something they're not.

It really was. Like Kniall said in the broadcast, one of the worst things that could happen is Russell actually becoming the figurehead or 'brand name' for the information he's disseminating in the media, meaning he becomes connected with it somehow. One of the take home messages for me was that everything he's saying is information that's available to the wider public and he's just following in the footsteps of people who have said similar things before and others need to follow in those footsteps and speak out without the focus being on one, singular person.
Great show! And I'm glad to hear Nora Gedgaudus will be on next week.
I got a chance to listen to it this morning. Another great show! I totally agree that no one owns the truth and certainly it's the message that's important and the messenger is secondary.
I find it intriguing that the club owner has members of the 'Royal Family' as regulars, but won't allow Brand. Seems the owner Robin Birley is definitely trying to maintain appearances. fwiw
Thank you for the great show. I find that I don't mind cleaning as much lately-It's a good time for me to also listen to your radio show :) Also, looking forward to the possible show on High Strangeness.
