Which makes sense regarding this excerpt... Which session does it come from exactly, by the way? Just for the precision.

If you click on additional pictures in the link, it shows a series of "different" holes.
One shows a lot of foliage over it, so these are not all the "same" hole, though there is no mention of any others.

Oh, it's the same hole. :) The tree hangs over the scene, so depending on the camera angle you see a lot of it or none of it.

One way to tell is that the sinkhole has a corner with a right angle.

Many sinkholes were reported on the week-end in Québec (province). We've had very intense and agressive weather and most likely, the heavy rain did it.

But still, they are sinkholes nontheless and so many is very unusual here, even during very bad weather.

So if relevant, I'll try to find them.

Peace!

Keep it up guys!

I kept hadding them as fast as I could, the last one is the Otawa one. I'll have a look for Quebec asap :)

Update on Baton Rouge, Louisiana Sinkhole - August 13th, 2012

Title: 9:45 a.m. Increased Seismic Activity Reported
Source: Assumption Parish Police Jury
Date: Sept 12, 2012

There has been reported increased seismic activity in the Bayou Corne/Grand Bayou area. This activity is not the sharp tremors that were occurring prior to the development of the sinkhole; however, indications show (through monitors set up by USGS) that seismic activity has been occurring NW of the sinkhole and it’s unknown at this time what this may mean. USGS is continuously monitoring this activity.
