Smoking is... good?

I had to laugh, I added the document for his three hour lecture the chatGPT - Los Angeles Presentation - Nicotine 02-10-24.pdf
and this is what it came up with as a summary .. basically calling ot a conspiracy theory :cool2: 🤣

🔑

  1. Nicotine is Not Addictive (Alone):
    • The presentation questions decades of public health messaging that nicotine is inherently addictive.
    • It cites various sources and articles that either question or reinterpret the role of nicotine in addiction.
    • It claims that nicotine alone (outside of tobacco context) does not create addiction.
  2. “The Big Lie” Allegation:
    • Repeatedly quotes Joseph Goebbels’ propaganda philosophy: “If you tell a lie big enough…”
    • Argues that governments and institutions have promoted a false narrative about nicotine addiction to serve a hidden agenda.
  3. COVID-19 and Nicotine Connection:
    • Suggests nicotine may have protective or therapeutic effects against COVID-19 and “long COVID” symptoms.
    • Cites studies where nicotine patches allegedly relieved long-haul COVID symptoms within days.
  4. “The State’s” Hidden Motive:
    • Posits that governments needed the population to stop using nicotine (i.e., smoking rates had to decline) so they would be more vulnerable to COVID-19.
    • Claims this vulnerability allowed the vaccine campaign to be more successful.
    • Links this to a supposed long-term plan for global vaccination and control.
  5. Nicotine in Other Plants:
    • Highlights that nicotine is naturally found in foods like tomatoes, potatoes, eggplant, etc., to support the claim it is not inherently harmful.
  6. Alleged Cover-up of Health Benefits:
    • Claims nicotine may treat or prevent various diseases (e.g., brain tumors, HIV, myocarditis, rabies).
    • Asserts this knowledge has been suppressed by health authorities and pharmaceutical companies.
  7. Allegations Regarding COVID-19 Vaccines:
    • Suggests that the COVID-19 vaccines contain elements of snake venom proteins (e.g., phosphodiesterase).
    • Proposes “detox protocols” involving EDTA, glutathione, nicotine patches, and natural remedies.
  8. Detox and "Antidote" Protocols:
    • Lists various supplements, herbs, and therapies supposedly capable of neutralizing “venoms” or COVID-19 vaccine components.

🧠

The document constructs a conspiracy theory claiming that nicotine has been unjustly demonized in order to hide its healing potential—particularly regarding COVID-19—while supporting a broader plan of population control via vaccines.

⚠️

  • These claims contradict decades of medical research and the overwhelming scientific consensus that:
    • Nicotine is addictive, especially when delivered via tobacco products or vaping.
    • COVID-19 vaccines do not contain snake venom, and are extensively studied and regulated.
    • There is no robust scientific evidence that nicotine patches cure COVID-19 or long COVID.

Always consult peer-reviewed scientific literature and public health authorities before accepting or acting on medical claims.

I recently bought a tobacco rolling machine - could anyone recommend an organic rolling tobacco I could try? When buying cigarette packs I typically would smoke American Spirit gold, which is their organic blend with a light filter. But their organic rolling tobacco only comes in small 40g pouches, they don't provide 150g tins of the organic blend for some reason. And I'm looking for the bigger tins because they're cheaper (per gram).

So now I'm on the hunt for other quality rolling tobacco outside of American Spirit. Anyone have any recommendations? I'm in Massachusetts, but I'm willing to road trip all over New England and buy in bulk, if that's what it takes. Unless there's an online source you guys have that ships to US.

The whole point of rolling my own is it seems like it is cheaper, and cigarettes are expensive. $14.50 per pack for American Spirit gold here. Cheaper in New Hampshire because no taxes, but not much cheaper - maybe $12 or $13 per pack?

The cheapest I found is American Spirit non-organic 150g dark blue "US Grown" tins - for $52 in New Hampshire. For organic version they sell the 40g pouches for $15 in NH, which is close in terms of "price per gram".

Just wanted to throw it out there and see what everyone has been smoking these days!

And I guess organic isn't absolutely necessary, I just think it's better for the lungs, so I tend to prefer it if possible.

Also apparently I can get it even cheaper if I buy whole tobacco leaves and get a leaf shredder, which might be a viable route as well, I just need to research that process more.

Try looking into this company

@ScioAgapeOmnis
I use whole tobacco leaves. I buy the same quantity of Burley and Virginia. Remove the branches and use a shredder similar to this one: link

Then I use a wood moisture hydrometer. The leaves should have something like 20 to 30% humidity to be shredded. Then I dried the shredded leaves under the sun until they have something like 5 to 10% humidity.

Then I roll them with the powermatic III + machine.

The blend is fine with me but may be improved by adding some Oriental leaves to the mix.
The cigarettes may need to be dryer to be stocked to avoid moisture to appear.

My wonder about is if it also "works" when you smoke it ?

I browsed the https://www.leafonly.com/ website and went into the "Cigarette" section. What they propose is to insert tobaco in already-made cigarette (in french we say "tube"), but what about rolling them manually with papers like the rizzla brand ? I would suppose it's the same. The second part is about the filter : i read that it's better to avoid any filter, but it's less convenient to smoke a cigarette without a filter. Actually i'm using the Mascotte brand, 5,3mm, the packs looks like this :

If one has any comment or advise, go for it :)

Q: What other things does nicotine do?

A: Raises defences.

Q: What kind?

A: Immunological.

Q: Anything else?

A: Excites neurotransmitters. You require less sleep.

Q: Is this true for everyone?

A: No.

Q: (A) How much nicotine is necessary?

A: 100 mg per day.

Q: (A) Can it be in pill form?

A: Cigarettes infuse it to brain tissues most effectively.

I used to ship the organic cured leafs to Australia from leafonly when there was still a loophole and it was exempt from import duty (that has now closed). I bought a manual shredder from a guy in Poland (from eBay like this one) that worked very well and was quite cheap. Most others that you can see online are too flimsy.

That tobacco was awesome! Very sad this is not a viable option anymore …
