Hi all,

We did have a list going, in order to know how many to print. Did you guys request a calendar? I know holidays are really busy times, so it looks like folks may have missed that message.

Okay then, my mistake. I had thought the calendars were given to those who donated like usual, I didn't realize I had to send a message as well. No problem. I'll find something else to hang on the wall for this year. Thanks for the reply. :)

The address however, was slightly 'off'. The house address was correct but under state, code and country, it showed the following;

Aucklan 2018,
Australia

Presumably, it might have gone to Australia before arriving here in Auckland, New Zealand! ;)

I was under this impression too, for some reason -- but it's no biggie for me either, I'll make sure to make a request next year.

The thing is, there are plenty of people who donate who we don't know the address for. If we did it that way, we would have to go through all donations and then see which of them we had addresses for and write to those who we didn't. It would be very time consuming. So what we did was post the SOTT Focus: http://www.sott.net/article/308041-Sott-nets-Yearly-State-of-the-World-Address and then after that point anyone who donated $30 or more to SOTT/QFG up to a specific date would get a sott calendar. The catch is that we need to know how many to get printed. So we're looking at donations in a specific timeframe to QFG. Some people did request calendars who make regular donations or otherwise, and they were sent one. But without the request, it's kind of hard to know who actually wants one.

Hey guys, not to keep or anything but I checked both the email I received and the link you quoted in the SOTT focus article and no where does it say anything about requesting a calendar or a specific time frame to have donated by. All it says is to verify your address thru whichever way you choose to donate which I did and it hasn't changed in years. Maybe I'm still missing something but in the future if you could please make that message a little clearer it would greatly be appreciated. Thanks.

Saint Nicolas brought a special Christmas gift at home, thank you so much guys for your wonderful effort! I´ll frame the front page of the calender and cut off the 2017 bottom part. It will make a really nice FOTCM yin and yang image with all its blue nuances and the mountain in the background. Good god, never thought I once would hang an ufo image at home :). Of course, these do bear the indelible C´s imprint and watchful glare over our community.
