Wheat and dairy are the very first things that should be eliminated when changing one's diet due to the inflammatory proteins gluten and casein. On this forum, it's not just about going low carb to lose weight, but about eliminating those foods which are the prime suspects in causing inflammation and a whole host of autoimmune disorders. This also includes processed foods and anything that contains MSG like soy. There are lots of sources online which are not as strict as here, but with all the research that has been done showing the damage these ingredients do to our body, we have chosen to avoid them. It's up to you whether you do the same.
