A total of three people died in a small plane crash in the Swiss canton of Valais, Sputnik reported, citing local media.
According to the RTS radio station, a small Piper 28 plane, capable of carrying up to five people, crashed at around 11.00 GMT near the Sanetsch mountain pass. After the crash, the plane caught fire.
Despite rapid arrival of emergency services, all three people on board died.
The cause of the incident has not been established yet.

The single-engine plane, a Piper PA28, already had flown once before going up with the group, BBC News reported.
Swiss Civil Aviation closed airspace in the area after the crash, and an investigation is underway.
Police described the pilot as experienced and from the local area, and added that the teens were all from Switzerland.
The four-seat aircraft had been on its second flight of the day and crashed about 10 minutes after take-off.
The plane was being used in a flight initiation session organized by Aero-Club Switzerland, its spokesman confirmed.
Mr. Burkhardt said that the club had been operating youth summer activities for safely for 35 years.
Burkhardt said that the sightseeing flight at the weekend was to have been a highlight for almost 200 young people at the holiday camp that had operated without incident for 35 years.
Two 14-year-old boys and the pilot were killed in the crash. A special trauma team has been sent to look after the other children who were taking part in the camp.
