The Codex Alimentarius -- the Beginning of the End?

This is pretty interesting, to say the least, and I had never heard of it, either, only whispers that food supplements were under attack and might go away -- but this is so much more. It also jibes with the popular belief that the PTB do in fact have their own sources of clean food and water.

I've been wondering for a long time what the mechanism would be for a kill-off, especially since they're attempts at spreading new diseases haven't succeeded much. I wonder if this is it. Most other methods that I can think of, including frying everyone's minds with HAARP, would appear to be too overt or too much of a mystery to be "accepted" by the survivors. I also wonder how many other schemes like this might be in the works.

Here in NZ, we are experiencing our own “battleᾠ with some corrupt people in govt attempting to “harmoniseᾠ with Australia re an Oceania version of CODEX. So, I looked at Dr. Laibow’s blog & read this:

“FAQ RE: Site Blocked
March 16th, 2007

As you probably know, yesterday the Natural Solutions Foundation website was blocked by its service provider www.1and1.com* …ᾠ

I don’t doubt that the strategies of the PTB include such as reported on the doctor’s blog & I certainly have reservations about Gen. Stubblebine. However, the site attack might be a piece of the puzzle – perhaps help to prompt resolutions one way or the other of the niggles in the minds of NormaRegula and Laura?

First off thanks TDR that was an interesting video and the lady was very articulate.

There was a question of why push no smoking in ?first? world countries. I think the info dant's daughter provided as well as dant's kind of has the answer in it.

Quoting dant and daughter:

"1) "Because aliens to not like to eat people who smoke".
2) Nicotine has a property the controls the metabolism of some people.
3) Nicotine enhances the brain
4) Nicotine is a stimulant
5) Nicotine enhances Psychic abilities
6) Nicotine is produced naturally by the body, in small amounts (so says my daughter)
7) Perhaps there is more...."
"..there is a receptor (the nicotinic acetylcholine receptor) that receives nicotine just as it would acetylcholine. So, the effects of nicotine on your body are similar to that of acetylcholine, which your body produces naturally.
Just wanted to clarify that."

If there is no real nutrition left in our foods and the brain needs to use acetylcholine, whether through a (healthy) bodies way of manufacturing it or by smoking.. it might be a good idea (if your out for population reduction) to maybe ban the smokes while you take out peoples nutrition.

Something that came to mind.

Edit: Realizing the terror of the situation further about how the sugars effect the neuro-transmitters (not too clear on the subject) that I think I read about in The Wave or an article by laura (both?).. and how smoking can be positive for ?alz-heimers? patients and another disease that is not coming to mind right now. Toss in some aspartame into the diets of a bunch of obese americans.. it makes for a pretty ugly situation in potential.

should we start stock piling mega-Vitamin suppements (not to hoard for ourselves but to share)while we still can buy them over the counter?
I just came down with a cold and it cost me the equivalent of 3-4 doctor visits to buy
natural medication, money well spent IMO,but I pity the "poor" or uninformed who just go to their doctor for pharma crap or even flu shots because health insurance
covers only doctors not Vitamins from the super market RRR

A while ago EU proposed a ban on vitamins supplements.

_http://www.newstarget.com/006764.html

Summary:

* In 2002, the European Union governments approved a directive that would ban many of the most common nutritional supplements throughout Europe.
* This ban covered vitamins, mineral plant extracts, and other various natural health products.
* Under the terms of this directive, manufacturers of these products were to be given until July 12 of this year to provide evidence that their products contained ingredients that are considered safe.
* Once approval was received, the products would then be put on a "positive" list and could be sold.
* In the three years since this directive was issued, the British health food industry has been up in arms.
* The Health Food Manufacturers Association (HFMA) the National Association of Health Stores (NAHS) and the Alliance for Natural Health (ANH) challenged the directive.
* In Great Britain alone, this ban would have affected approximately 5000 products.
* It is estimated that one-third of all women and a quarter of the men in Britain use health food products, and these consumers were not happy.
* In fact, the directive resulted in a petition containing over a million names.
* Yesterday, the advocate general of the European Court of Justice declared that this directive should be annulled since the parameters are not clearly defined.
* Although opponents of the proposed ban are encouraged by this decision, it is only an advisory and a final decision will not be made until the full court delivers a verdict.
* This is expected to occur within six months.
* HFMA director David Adams was pleased by the decision and said, 'We hope this opinion will be followed through in the verdict and that millions of UK consumers can continue to buy the specialist food supplements they have been using safely for years.'

This is VERY disturbing, it seems they are just doing it slowly, genetic manipulated food, vitamin's illegal etc, and so many people don't know about it,

this flash movie shows very well what these psychopaths are doing with the food and we are as usual the experiment

''How the Government is Threatening Your Freedom to Use Supplements''
hXXp://www.mercola.com/2007/mar/15/how-the-government-is-threatening-your-freedom-to-use-supplements.htm

The FDA protects corporate interests, not consumers. The agency pretends they are on the side of free trade, but nothing could be further from the truth.

Instead, they are on the side of regulations and special interests, all for the protection of certain multi-national corporations.

That's the message behind this short video you must watch, We Become Silent: The Last Days of Health Freedom.''
but something is bothering me here, why have they decided to let this go live on 31 december 2009 is it because they know something is going to happen before that time, so they can pretty much ''take over'' instantly in the chaos, or they are doing it right now but slowly until it becomes really official in 2009.

what the hell man!! what's next?!?

Hah, take a look of this article, published in NYT. It just fit so into PTB vitamin/supplementation debunking agenda. Jeeez, I'm really p..... off!!!

News Keeps Getting Worse for Vitamins
By Tara Parker-Pope

The best efforts of the scientific community to prove the health benefits of vitamins keep falling short.
Consumers don’t want to give up their vitamins. (Tony Cenicola/The New York Times)

This week, researchers reported the disappointing results from a large clinical trial of almost 15,000 male doctors taking vitamins E and C for a decade. The study showed no meaningful effect on cancer rates.

Another recent study found no benefit of vitamins E and C for heart disease.

In October, a major trial studying whether vitamin E and selenium could lower a man’s risk for prostate cancer ended amidst worries that the treatments may do more harm than good.

And recently, doctors at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York warned that vitamin C seems to protect not just healthy cells but cancer cells, too.

Everyone needs vitamins, which are critical for the body. But for most people, the micronutrients we get from foods usually are adequate to prevent vitamin deficiency, which is rare in the United States. That said, some extra vitamins have proven benefits, such as vitamin B12 supplements for the elderly and folic acid for women of child-bearing age. And calcium and vitamin D in women over 65 appear to protect bone health.

But many people gobble down large doses of vitamins believing that they boost the body’s ability to mop up damaging free radicals that lead to cancer and heart disease. In addition to the more recent research, several reports in recent years have challenged the notion that megadoses of vitamins are good for you.

A Johns Hopkins School of Medicine review of 19 vitamin E clinical trials of more than 135,000 people showed high doses of vitamin E (greater than 400 IUs) increased a person’s risk for dying during the study period by 4 percent. Taking vitamin E with other vitamins and minerals resulted in a 6 percent higher risk of dying. Another study of daily vitamin E showed vitamin E takers had a 13 percent higher risk for heart failure.

The Journal of Clinical Oncology published a study of 540 patients with head and neck cancer who were being treated with radiation therapy. Vitamin E reduced side effects, but cancer recurrence rates among the vitamin users were higher, although the increase didn’t reach statistical significance.

What does it mean by "increase didn't reach statistical significance" and yet it was significant to say that "cancer recurrence rates among the vitamin users were higher".

And how about "the micronutrients we get from foods usually are adequate to prevent vitamin deficiency", when it seems that truth is quite opposite, the food we eat is everything but adequate to fill us up with nutrients!
A 1994 Finland study of smokers taking 20 milligrams a day of beta carotene showed an 18 percent higher incidence of lung cancer among beta carotene users. In 1996, a study called Caret looked at beta carotene and vitamin A use among smokers and workers exposed to asbestos, but the study was stopped when the vitamin users showed a 28 percent higher risk for lung cancer and a 26 percent higher risk of dying from heart disease.

A 2002 Harvard study of more than 72,000 nurses showed that those who consumed high levels of vitamin A from foods, multivitamins and supplements had a 48 percent higher risk for hip fractures than nurses who had the lowest intake of vitamin A.

The Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews looked at vitamin C studies for treating colds. Among more than two dozen studies, there was no overall benefit for preventing colds, although the vitamin was linked with a 50 percent reduction in colds among people who engaged in extreme activities, such as marathon runners, skiers and soldiers, who were exposed to significant cold or physical stress. The data also suggested vitamin C use was linked with less severe and slightly shorter colds.

In October 2004, Copenhagen researchers reviewed seven randomized trials of beta carotene, selenium and vitamins A, C and E (alone or in combination) in colon, esophageal, gastric, pancreatic and liver cancer. The antioxidant users had a 6 percent higher death rate than placebo users.

Two studies presented to the American College of Cardiology in 2006 showed that vitamin B doesn’t prevent heart attacks, leading The New England Journal of Medicine to say that the consistency of the results “leads to the unequivocal conclusion” that the vitamins don’t help patients with established vascular disease.

The British Medical Journal looked at multivitamin use among elderly people for a year but found no difference in infection rates or visits to doctors.

Despite a lack of evidence that vitamins actually work, consumers appear largely unwilling to give them up. Many readers of the Well blog say the problem is not the vitamin but poorly designed studies that use the wrong type of vitamin, setting the vitamin up to fail. Industry groups such as the Council for Responsible Nutrition also say the research isn’t well designed to detect benefits in healthy vitamin users.

So, what's up with vit. C now? Is it working or not!?!

Now, I've been curious, so I followed this link (_http://www.nytimes.com/2008/11/19/health/research/19vitamins.html?_r=1&ref=health) from article in which stands:
A large clinical trial of almost 15,000 male doctors taking vitamins E and C for up to 10 years has found that neither supplement had any effect on cancer rates, including cancer of the prostate.

The study comes on the heels of a disappointing finding regarding vitamin E reported late last month. After following 35,000 men taking selenium and vitamin E, investigators halted their trial because no benefit was seen and in some supplement users there appeared to be a slight increase in the risk of cancer or diabetes.

An author of the current study, an abstract of which was presented on Monday at the American Association for Cancer Research meeting in Washington, D.C., said his trial found neither risk nor benefit to use of the vitamins.

“The good news is you don’t appear to be hurting yourself ,” said Howard D. Sesso, an assistant professor of medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. But, he added, “There’s very little evidence to recommend taking these supplements for prevention of cancer, particularly in the case of vitamin E.”

The evidence regarding vitamin C is not as clear, since fewer large trials of vitamin C have been carried out, he said.
...

Again vitamin C, what's with it, does it work or not? One thing is sure, those articles are definitively contradicting within and if you just look to headlines you'll be under impression that vitamins and other supplements are if not bed then just inefficient in fighting against all sorts of ailments.

I'm not an expert, but I think that all those trials missed real point. That is, vitamins and other supplements are necessary in order to give our body chance to fight against free radicals and all kind of "bugs" by getting rid of toxins and parasites and only that way we can improve our health. (See anti Candida and detox threads)

Everything else is just more debunking and preparing ground for sep./oct. 2009, when Codex alimentarius gets in power.

Regulattor said:
What does it mean by "increase didn't reach statistical significance" and yet it was significant to say that "cancer recurrence rates among the vitamin users were higher".

What this means is that the person who wrote the article seriously needs to undertake a course such as Statistics 101, ASAP. In fact all journalists need to have a basic understanding of the statistics that they so frequently report. They should all be made to study statistics as part of their training.

"Statistically insignificant" means that the sample size used in the study was not large enough to conclude one way or the other whether the study's results really are indicative of a change in the greater population. Hence it is completely pointless, worthless and grossly misleading to report statistically insignificant results, unless it's to demonstrate the null (no effect) hypothesis.

Re the Codex Alimentarius. From: _http://educate-yourself.org/fc/ Scroll down for article:

"...a medical conspiracy...to create regulations that promote the use of drug (sic) medicine while simultaneously creating restrictive, controlling mechanisms (licencing, government approval, etc)designed to limit and stifle the availability of non-drug, alternative modalities"

And from: _http://www.livingnutrition.com/articles/codex.html

"Over the past decades, hundreds of caring, concerned and conscientious alternative healers have been jailed and abused like common criminals, for the 'crime' of curing people of life-threatening diseases in an 'unapproved' manner, by heavy-handed government agaents who swoop down on clinics with drawn guns, flax (sic) jackets, and Gestapo manners."

For those who can't watch the video this is a good summary of what she discusses, and then some :scared:

“NUTRICIDE: THE KILLING CAMPS OF CODEX ALIMENTARIUS”

Or How the Nazis Took Over the World Food Supply.
Rima E. Laibow, MD
Medical Director

Natural Solutions Foundation
www.HealthFreedomUSA.org

Nutricide (noo trih side):

1. Intentionally bringing about our causing the death of a body of knowledge and
information concerning the health promoting and curative attributes of herbs, food
and food components

2. Intentionally bringing about our causing the death of large numbers of people
through nutritional manipulation

Codex Alimentarius (the international food standard organization) and multinational
corporation collusion together impair and gravely threaten world health. If Codex has its
way, its deadly standards and guidelines will be implemented in the United States by
2010 significantly impairing the health and health prospects of all Americans, killing
those with chronic illnesses who depend on therapeutic dose nutritional supplements for
survival.

Codex Alimentarius will contaminate every bite of food you eat and make your favorite
vitamins, minerals and herbs illegal substances. It will become impossible in the United
States to find clean food to feed your family or yourself or to use natural health options to
get well and stay that way, at least legally. Codex rules governing organic food so
degrade it that pollution with veterinary drugs, pesticides, genetically modified foods,
toxins and growth hormones will make the designation totally meaningless.
Implicit in estimates by the two organizations which run Codex Alimentarius for the
UN[1] are that implementation of just the restrictive Vitamin and Mineral Guideline
alone[2] will result in the deaths of at least 3 billion people world wide. Those
estimates anticipate the deaths of at least 1 billion people from simple starvation and 2
billion more from what WHO and FAO identify as the “preventable chronic diseases of
under nutrition”: cancers, cardiovascular disease, stroke, diabetes and obesity.

[1] World Health Organization (WHO) and Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO)
[2] Ratified July 4, 2005 by the Codex Alimentarius Commission in Rome, Italy
2

To accomplish that vile goal, Codex is in the process of degrading the health and social
integrity of the global community by, for example:

o Requiring all animals used for food to be treated with antibiotics.

o Mandating all food animals be treated with growth hormones

o Mandating all dairy cows be treated with Monsanto’s bovine growth
hormone.

o Allowing unlabeled genetically modified (GM) food worldwide.

o Permitting shockingly high pesticide residues in food, including 7
pesticides already banned by agreement of 174 nations at the Stockholm
Convention (2001).

o Mandating irradiation of all foods despite the serious dangers this
presents to the environment and consumers.

o Degrading Organic Standards to the point of meaninglessness.

Codex Alimentarius (Latin: “food rules”) was created by the UN on the instigation of the
mastermind of the German death camps, Fritz ter Meer, former “Over Manager” (CEO)
of the German industrial combine, IG Farben. He realized that the control of food was
the key to world control while he was in prison for crimes against humanity (including
creating and running the German death camps and slave labor system) after WWII.
In 1954, after his release from prison, ter Meer became President of Bayer
Pharmaceuticals and, along with 4 other drug companies, lobbied the UN to take control
of the world’s food supply. In 1963 the UN asked WHO and FAO to run the Codex
Alimentarius Commission, controlling the international trade of everything that could
legally go into your mouth (except drugs) and, allegedly, protecting “the health of
consumers”. Operating in effective secrecy (because of a near total media blackout),
Codex today is a fantastically complex bureaucracy actively degrading the quality of food
of every nation in the world, including the United States, while it works to make all
natural health options illegal.

Today’s Nutricide system is Codex Alimentarius and it is, to be sure, the resistance of the
multinational illness industry dinosaur to the inevitability of its demise and the
burgeoning desire of humanity for a healthier, saner, and more sustainable way of life.
But it is much more: it is the modern incarnation of the “Eugenicists’” belief in the moral
and economic imperative which makes it incumbent and urgently correct for those who
control society to protect and perfect it from depredation and defilement by “them” for
the benefit of the rightful masters of monetary and moral gold: “us” whatever it may cost
“them”. The social “sterilization” slope is steep and well lubricated with moral selfjustification driven by self-interest and worse. Beginning with those with “physical
disabilities” and extending to those with “social disabilities”, widening to those with
“genetic disabilities” and culminating finally with those with “political disabilities.
“While examining how the Nazis treated people with disabilities it is wise to review the
macropolitical and social forces that still impact our view of the disabled today.”[1] notes
Professor Mark Mostert of Regent University in his informative essay, “Useless Eaters”,
[1] _http://www.regent.edu-today

Dr. Mostert reminds us that when considering our response to the vulnerable in our
society, it is wise to remain aware of “the role of science, the power of ideas, the
convergence of macrosocial convictions, the complicity of the medical profession, and
the role of propaganda”[2] He points out that what made the idea of eugenics dangerous
did not lie in the concept itself but the way in which it was co-opted to drive social
actions “with scant regard for decency and compassion”.[3] Codex has co-opted science
to drive social actions with the same scant regard for decency and compassion and now
presents a threat as great to the global community as the Nazi killing machine presented
to Europe.

In our global society, Fritz ter Meer’s world view, embodied so well in Codex
Alimentarius and its deadly policies, extends to global urban slums and low economic
level villages rendering their inhabitants useless and therefore ripe for “disinfection”.
Those who resisted were silenced in the tidal wave of demand for conformity of all
people, everywhere in all ways. Those who resist Codex are silenced in the same tidal
wave of demand for conformity of all food, everywhere in all ways. In a weird historical
twist, Nazi inspired genocide has gone from being based on what you are to what you eat.
The result of Codex Alimentarius is much the same without the need to institute
expensive and resource-consuming Killing Centers or Death Camps. Poison the food in
village markets and city supermarkets and they become your death camps. Think about
how much money you save and how much blame you escape!

German “social sanitation” began with a definition of who was useful to society and who
was not. Those with obvious disabilities were the first class of ‘useless eaters’ Next came
people with “economic and social disabilities” and then people with “political and ethnic
disabilities”: Slipping from lack of economic productivity to lack of acceptable behavior
to lack of social and political conformity to lack of genetic conformity, the slope was
steep and easy to slide down. “Sanitizing” and “disinfecting” society becomes a
responsible act to protect it until the unworthy, those not worth saving, are purged and, so
it is claimed, their demise “strengthens” the survivors.

Make no mistake: despite its claims to be scientific and benign, Codex is a death machine
coming out of a long tradition which justifies the death of those of us who are “Useless
Eaters”, a term popularized in Germany by Professors Karl Binding and Alfred Hotch in
their 1920 essay, “Permission for the Destruction of Life Unworthy of Life”. In this
widely read – and debated – essay, the academics argued that the right to be alive was
earned, not conferred, and that killing people with disabilities, or others whom they
determined were unworthy to live, was justified. The right to live was earned, they
argued, by being a useful economic contributor to society. Absent that ability, one
becomes a “useless eater” who, because they are not needed, may be disposed of.
Included in the class of “useless eaters” under the Nazis were the disabled and the
mentally ill, the vagrant and the unemployable. This world view, in which ter Meer
vigorously participated, would lay the foundation for Codex sub text: survivors
collaborate with the major international corporate sectors (Big Pharma, Big Agribiz, Big
Biotechna, Big Chema and Big Medica) to centralize distribution, standardization, trade
and accumulate wealth through illness. Simultaneously, remove those who were not
useful to serve the needs of the new rulers who would preside over the new economy: one
without consumers, only masters and their servitors.

Under the Nazi system, the one which ter Meer served so successfully and ardently
championed, the economic worth of an individual determined his social standing and his
right to the resources available. People of lower economic worth could be deprived of
support or resources without social guilt: hundreds of thousands of vulnerable and
disabled Germans were permitted to die of inadequate sanitation, medication, food,
shelter and clothing because they were useless eaters and their loss strengthened the
State. This valuation of human life by economic markers was a key intellectual piece in
the social acceptance of genocide.

As institutional care for the indigent, insane and disabled vanished, these vulnerable
populations were seen as a danger to social morals and decency. As in the US,
dysfunctional behavior was increasingly viewed as a legal offense and the disabled
entered the criminal system by virtue of their dysfunctional behavior. The cost of their
incarceration was then seen as a drain on the economy and pressure for their elimination
mounted while economic disability, physical disability and criminality became fused in
the public mind. In fact, by the late 1930’s in Germany there was open dialogue about
the desirability of killing inmates of asylums. Useless eaters all, there was no reason that
society should not be served by killing them and giving the resources that they would
consume to the worthy.

Social Darwinism, whose most extreme version is eugenics, holds that all behavior is
genetic, the strongest, richest, whitest, blondest, most powerful are the most genetically
desirable and that incarceration, sterilization or death would rid the population of
undesirable genes, thus making it stronger and more successful. In ter Meer’s world, the
poor were more likely to commit social offenses so they were the least worthy of
resources to consume. If they were really worthy of maintaining life, they would be
making a significant contribution to society. Since they were not, and were only useless
eaters, they could – and should – be disposed of for the good of the remaining members
of society, those worthy of life.

“Eugenics”, coined by Francis Galton in 1881, gained its most influential early proponent
in Charles Davenport, an American who defined the term as “the science [sic] of the
improvement of the human race by better breeding.” The concept was popular with
Americans and found a place in the United States when Cary Buck, whose mother was
“feebleminded”, gave birth to an illegitimate “feebleminded” child in 1927. Politicians
jumped on the issue and many states passed laws requiring compulsory sterilization of
the mentally defective. Useless eaters, they should not be permitted to procreate.

In the Germany of the Nazis, the inferiors of the world would be eliminated through
“Positive Eugenics” or high birth rates by desirable people and “Negative Eugenics”, the
death of undesirable people who had neither genetic nor economic worth and, because
these factors were determined by genetics, would never develop any desirable
characteristics, traits or contributions to society. IG Farben’s Germany had 220 Health
Courts which determined who would be involuntarily sterilized before the ter Meer’s
death camps went into full swing. It is interesting to note that the linguistic confusion
and obfuscation caused by the merger of “health” with “death” has strong echoes in our
own society in which “healthcare” is actually, for most people, “illness care”.
Very much in the spirit of the current Administration’s new Military Tribunals for
American Citizens (which were recently decried by the American Bar Association), in
which anyone who is thought to be a “suspected terrorist” (including, according to
Arizona branch of the FBI, a person who “defends the US Constitution”) may be held
without legal representation, charges or a trial for an indefinite period, Germany’s “Law
Against Dangerous Habitual Criminals” stipulated that people who qualified could be
held in indeterminate “protective custody”. Further, they could be surgically castrated
and committed to asylums at the whim of the Health Court. Hitler reasoned that,
although it was his intent to murder the “undesirable”, only the heat of war would ready
the German public, conditioned by suitable propaganda, to accept that course of
“cleansing” action.

Entire classes of people, defined by biological markers like skin color, social markers like
opposing political views or economic markers like poverty could be easily classed as low
value, high threat populations and could be dispensed with. Racial, ethnic, social and
economic profiling run amok coupled with the concept of Social Darwinism and the
waste engendered by useless eaters leads to only one conclusion: get rid of THEM for the
safety and good of US.

1939 was the year in which Germans were officially informed that it was their duty to be
healthy. It was also the year that the German Children’s Killing Program was launched
to officiate over the extermination of all children with disabilities or who were otherwise
not wanted. Pediatric useless eaters, too, were disposable. Reporting directly to Hitler
under the scientific-sounding “Committee for the Scientific Treatment of Severe,
Genetically Diseased Illness”, the Children’s Killing Program produced a document on
August 18, 1939 which called for the registration of all children up to the age of 3 with
any kind of disability.. Across Germany, midwives were paid a bounty for every child
registered. Reports went to 3 German doctors who marked the children’s records either
for survival (a minus sign), termination at a later time or, if their records were marked
with a plus sign, for what was variously called “treatment,”, “disinfection”, “cleaning” ,
“therapy” or “selection”. Housed in 28 “killing centers”, medical staff supervised and
participated actively in the removal of tiny useless eaters.Starvation (not preferred as it took too long), exposure to the cold German winters, chemical agents or lethal injections to the heart were, in ter Meer’s Germany, perfectly acceptable actions to get rid of socially useless people with the help and participation of the medial world. The source of the chemicals for the lethal injections? IG Farben.

In 1939, Hitler personally authorized “Aktion T4”, a program to kill all “adult
undesirables”. Because shooting them in the back of the head (4000 Poles), tying them
together and blowing them up with dynamite and mass train wrecks were inefficient and
unsavory, mass carbon monoxide poisoning became the favored means of extermination.
It was noted by the German authorities that the murder of so many inmates and patients at
such close range exacted too heavy a toll from their killers so less intimate means of
killing larger numbers of people were needed.

IG Farben was happy to oblige. Carbon monoxide was settled on as the answer and 6
large “Killing Centers” were set up. The engines that produced the carbon monoxide
were produced by I G Farben. So were the hoses and showerheads which carried the
deadly gas to the useless eaters. Once dead, their bodies were plundered for gold teeth
and used for autopsies and “practice cadavers” for German surgeons in training. After
cremation in the IG Farben-produced crematoria, non-specific ashes were sent to grieving
families at the expense of the victim’s kin if they requested them in urns made by IG
Farben. Favorite alleged causes of death were “breathing problems”, stroke, meningitis
and pneumonia.

By 1941, children up to 17 were exterminated in the Children’s Killing Program
(although Jewish children were excluded since they did not deserve a “merciful” death)
and between 70,000 and 80,000 Germans and Eastern European useless eaters were
allowed to die in this way by personnel chosen specifically for their brutality and
devotion to the Nazi ideals. Physicians, however, remained in charge since, according to
one of the top officials of the program, Viktor Brcek, “The needle belongs in the hand of
the doctor.”

On the occasion of the 10,000th victim of the Killing Center at Hagdamar, a festive party
‘was held in the IG Farben-built crematorium where the staff celebrated with beer,
dancing to a polka band and a mock burial of the latest victim shrouded in a swastika
banner.

During the Killing Center warm up period for the death camps to come, the “inhalation
therapy” rooms into which the naked victims of impending “disinfection” were herded
were not satisfactory since the victims “resisted the need for this therapy”. This led the
Nazi exterminators to change the guise of the rooms: perforated tubes for the introduction
of carbon monoxide were replaced with shower heads which was both more familiar and
more acceptable to those about to be “sanitized”.

Under the conceptual system of ter Meer and the other exterminators of useless eaters,
their economic non-productivity and economic drain on the resources of society were
sufficient reason to disinfect society of them. A German report noted that this human
sanitation had saved the government 885,439,980 Reich Marks (RMs):
7
• 13,490,440 RMs on meat and sausage
• 708,350 on jam
• 1,054,080 on cheese
• 20,857,026 on bread[4]

The Aktion T4 program came to an end in 1941 when Roman Catholic Bishop Clemens
von Galen preached a fiery sermon denouncing the program. His August 3 sermon was
widely circulated in Germany. Catalyzing growing German unease because of an
emerging penetration of the lies surrounding their loved ones death and the outrage of
their kin, the Nazi regime feared popular and international backlash (especially the
Swiss-based Red Cross) so Aktion T4 was shut down.

The killing, however, continued because useless eaters still drained the coffers of the
state and the sensibilities of the public. The responsibility for their extermination was
transferred to more than 100 hospitals where lethal injections, starvation and exposure
were the most favored means of extermination. IG Farben made Germany’s drugs and
chemicals, lethal and otherwise.

When the program was shut down, particularly brutal and efficient staff members of the
Killing Centers were rewarded with appointments as the first Commandants of the death
camps of Sobibor, Belzec and Treblinka.[5]

Codex is a Teutonic creation that violates Anglo/American legal traditions. The US legal
system is being subverted to make way for Codex that is based in a legal system that
stands our own system on its head. Codex is based on the European Napoleonic Code that
differs sharply from Anglo/America Common Law. Under Codex Alimentarius, anything
not explicitly permitted is forbidden. Under Common Law, we hold that anything not
explicitly forbidden is permitted. The difference is simply the difference between health
freedom and health tyranny.

Clean, nutrient-dense food is the basis of health: Codex is driven by industries that make
money from illness and from contaminating foods with highly profitable poisons.
For example, in Rome, at the 2005 Codex Commission meeting, Kenya pointed out that
by doubling the allowable levels of cadmium (an industrial heavy metal contaminant) in
polished rice, an estimated 65,000 children in Kenya would die each year from totally
preventable kidney failure. Malaysia echoed these concerns. The Chairman of the
Codex Commission[3] insisted that the increased cadmium standard be moved forward
toward ratification because he did not want “to waste the good work of the Committee
[which brought the cadmium standard forward]”. Each of those dying Kenyan children
killed by preventable good-old-boy-network-corporate-interest-induced kidney failure
will have the US and its industrial masters to thank for his/her premature death. In
addition to additives and veterinary drugs, heavy metals, pesticides and contaminants are

permitted at levels so high that human health and longevity are under siege all over the
planet. And the siege engine is on your plate at every meal.

Codex takes special aim at adequate nutrition and nutritional/herbal health strategies: it
targets nutritional health options for world-wide extinction. The well orchestrated
“Poison press” assault on herb and dietary supplements using slick, cleverly designed
poor science studies to create a “scientific slight of hand” is designed to alarm people
about nutrients and send them back into the comforting, highly profitable and frequently
lethal, arms of Big Pharma. St. John’s Wort, Kava Kava, Ephedra, Beta-Carotene,
Vitamin E, Vitamin C, Goldenseal, Glucoseamine, natural cancer treatments and a host of
other popular natural options are under continuing attack. Each article or “study”, once
dissected, is scientifically hollow and based solely on junk science. But the threat of
losing market share is very great and rapidly accelerating so the response from Big
Pharma is vigorous and virulent, making clear just how vulnerable they really are to
people who see the light of day and make natural choices using accurate information.
According to Codex Nutrition Committee Chairman Dr. Rolf Grossklaus[4], a German
physician, “nutrition has no place in medicine”[5] and nutrients should not be available for use to prevent, treat, mitigate or cure any disease or condition. When a country
complies with Codex standards and guidelines, it guarantees highly profitable,
preventable deaths will skyrocket and its people will suffer while the interests that
drive Codex will prosper.

Dr. Grossklaus has decided to treat nutrients as toxins. As the Chairman of the Board of
bFR,[6] a German Risk Assessment company that provides data to Codex under contract,
this appears to represent a serious conflict of interest with lethal global impact.
Once the Vitamin and Mineral Guideline goes into effect in a country, all high potency
nutrients and the effective compounds in herbs become illegal, with or without a doctor’s
prescription. Under Codex compliance, it is forbidden to prevent, treat, mitigate or
cure any disease or condition with nutrients or even tell people that they are related
to health since associating health benefits and food components is forbidden. In
compliance with Codex, for example, the EU is currently in the process of removing
all high potency nutrients and virtually all effective herbs from shelves throughout
its 25 member countries. The European Food Supplements Directive, European
Medicinal Therapeutic Herbal Products Directive and other Directives are
systematically removing the rights of Europeans to choose health and exercise
health freedom based on clean food, nutrients and herbs. Five million letters to the
EU Parliament once the Food Supplements Directive was adopted were useless: the
EU missed its window of opportunity. America’s window is still open. A Codex
guideline is only mandatory in nations that formally adopt it.

Although Codex’ workings are not literally secret, they might just as well be. Codex
Alimentarius rarely surfaces in the press: it is usually submerged under a remarkable
international code of silence. When that code is broken, Codex’s strategy is “paint and
taint”. The media campaign paints Codex Alimentarius as a benevolent tool of
"consumer protection", while it taints natural health options. The on-going poison press
against nutrients is powerful and pervasive, stretching from the Wall Street Journal to the
New England Journal of Medicine and JAMA to mislead consumers into a contemptuous
pseudo scientific fear that natural options like vitamins and herbs as "dangerous". That
way, consumers have no option but to seek out and take drugs (which really are
dangerous).[7] Dietary Supplements are foods and should not be treated as toxins, like
pharmaceutical drugs or industrial chemicals.

More and more people are turning to natural health products globally. The "wellness"
trend is a major force in today's society. The more natural health products people use, the
fewer drugs they buy. The pharmaceutical industry, a major force in the "Sickness
Industry", deeply fears the inevitable shift toward natural health care and is ruthlessly
taking steps to stamp out natural health options while the Codex process appears to be
taking steps to stamp out those of us who are the new global useless eaters.
Codex asserts that its standards and guidelines are “science based”, using junk science
designed and cherry-picked to “prove” commercially useful conclusions. Biochemistry,
environmental science, clinical nutrition, veterinary science and epidemiology are
routinely ignored in favor of highly questionable “tobacco science”. Codex delegates,
usually busy mid-level bureaucrats, are mesmerized by the Codex self-propaganda:
Codex is “science based” and so its recommendations (virtually always exactly what
large commercial interests in the United States or the EU want them to be) can be
trusted.

The result of Codex’s assault on health freedom will be dramatic and inevitable increases
in preventable chronic illnesses, death and a lower quality of life, despite the vast body of
excellent science and clinical experience showing the importance of nutrition in
preventing and recovering from chronic illness. The evidence is there: restricting access
to, and suppressing information about, the health benefits of food is already killing
people. The three major killers in the US are heart disease /stroke, cancer and diabetes,
(after correctly used pharmaceutical drugs, that cause more deaths than even these
diseases.)[8] WHO and FAO, the international organizations that run Codex for the UN,
issued a joint report in 2002 which specifically identifies heart disease and stroke, cancer
and diabetes as non communicable epidemic diseases, preventable killers caused by
under nutrition.[9] Codex, however, actively mandates that under nutrition, and throws
in deadly toxicity for good measure, making global Nutricide faster and more efficient,
since nutritional requirements go up in the presence of toxicity. [7] _http://www.lef.org/magazine/mag2004/mar2004_awsi_death_01.htm
[8] killer number 1, according to the Journal of the American Medical Association, the Lancet and the British Medical Journal [9]_http://whqlibdoc.who.int/trs/WHO_TRS_916.pdf#search=%22Diet%2C%20Nutrition%20and%20The%2

To allow this process to kill us is suicide. To allow it to kill the rest of the world’s most nutritionally vulnerable people is Nutricide.

Astonishingly, the supplement industry itself is being deceived into believing that Codex
Alimentarius will help it open global markets while those markets (and the US market)
will, in fact, forbid any nutrient that causes any change – even a desirable one – in a
human being. For example, giving your son 10,000 IU of Vitamin A for his acne will be
illegal. Treating your mother’s arthritis with glucosamine and chondrotin sulfate will be
against the law. Preventing osteoporosis with 1500 mg of calcium and 2000 IU of
Vitamin D will be a felony since Codex accepts the WHO definition of a nutrient related
“adverse event” as “any change in a bio marker [including positive ones]”: nutrient
doses causing such “adverse events” will be forbidden.
Under Codex (and U.S. HARMonization with Codex) physicians will no longer be able
to tell you that eating broccoli may help to reduce your risk of breast cancer since Codex
forbids advertising which links food components and health benefits and defines
advertising as anything which causes a change in behavior. They certainly will no longer
be able to recommend that you give your mother 5 mg of Vitamin B12 under her tongue
although it reversed her dementia or that you take 400 mg of CoQ10 a day because it has
been shown to cure breast cancer.

The U.S. government, either blind to the ramifications of Codex or well aware of them, is
influenced by the most powerful corporate lobbies in the world: Big Pharma, Big Chema,
Big Agribiz, Big Biotechna and Big Medica. The FDA has announced its determination
to “HARMonize” our domestic food rules with those of Codex in preference to US
standards1, although there is no question doing so will bring significant additional
disease, violate US law and violate the values of our increasingly health and
environmentally conscious population.

The U.S. government acts as if the thousands of scientific studies, many of which it
sponsored, over the last two decades showing the importance of nutrition in preventing
and recovering from illness and the widely understood correlation between poor nutrition,
nutrient-poor foods and negative health outcomes simply do not exist.

Codex is already compromising our health. One example of the erosion of our domestic
values and our democratic processes is the reversal of rules regarding high fructose corn
syrup (HFCS). Despite its name, this cheap and dangerous sweetener is generally derived
from Genetically Modified corn, not from fruit. HFCS was banned from beverages in the
US because of its serious health hazards but is now permitted in U.S drinks. When
Codex approved high fructose corn syrup, the U.S. rapidly changed its regulations to
“HARMonize” with Codex. The result? An epidemic of childhood obesity and diabetes:
HFCS is literally killing our kids. Unfortunately, HFCS is only one example out of
hundreds in which humans in the U.S. are unknowingly being subjected to dangerous
international standards—unaware of the corruption and greed shaping those standards.
1 US Federal Register, October 11, 1995
11
Today, politicians and the media close their eyes to the galloping corruption of our food
and food regulators and permit clean, wholesome food to disappear in favor of food
grown and processed in ways guaranteed to make us sick. For example, a December 2005
Internal Audit by the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) found that untested and
potentially exceedingly dangerous Genetically Modified pharma crops (which produce
pharmaceuticals and other chemicals) are being grown on test plots whose locations are
frequently unknown to the USDA. Physical monitoring of site conditions such as
storage and environmental protection from wandering engineered DNA (to say nothing of
human or animal consumption) is thus impossible. No written plans exist to prevent
the spread of dangerous, unapproved crops’ DNA from spreading into the food
supply or, to use the pleasant euphemism which the biotech industry likes,
“volunteering”. “Permits” to grow these potentially deadly crops are routinely granted
on the basis of telephone conversations with the companies holding the patents in which
employees verbally assure regulators that required procedures are being followed and that
these untested pharmaceutical crops are safe. Neither written nor independent
verification of any of these assurances is required or provided. Non pharma Genetically
Modified food crops need no permit whatsoever. Despite serious questions about their
safety for humans, livestock and the environment, all that is required to introduce
Genetically Modified food into the US food supply (for humans and animals alike) is to
hold a patent. Safety testing may take place inside biotech company compounds or it
may not, but the U.S. government never sees it before a Genetically Modified food hits
your table and your cells.

Public awareness and opposition to the contamination of our food supply and the erosion
of our health freedoms are growing. The Natural Solutions Foundation is the global
voice of those who are not ready to be the next crop of useless eaters. From suing the US
Government over their illegal policies of Codex “HARMonization” of nutrients to
traveling the globe to meet with high-level decision makers, legislators and consumer
advocates, their advocacy is waking the world up. The Natural Solutions Foundation
needs you and your voice. Their website is www.HealthFreedomUSA.org. The Natural
Solutions Foundation’s newsletter and educational materials are vitally important
resources to have and to share. After all, “YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT.”

Along with the Codex, another program to watch and be aware of is the (NAIS) National Animal Identification System.

From _http://www.survivalblog.com/nais.htm

"The National Animal Identification System (NAIS)

The USDA and the Agrobiz giants have been crafting a national animal identification scheme that threatens the traditional freedom of self sufficiency, the privacy of Americans, and the livelihood of organic farmers, and family farms. The National Animal Identification System (NAIS) is the creation of the Agrobiz giants Monsanto, Cargill Meat, National Pork Producers, and others to monopolize American food production using fear tactics to advance their agenda. The NAIS scheme was not created by any act of congress. Rather, it is merely a presumptuous bureaucratic dictate.

The NAIS plan requires two types of mandatory registration for everyone who owns even just one “livestock” animal. Every person who owns even just one horse, donkey, chicken, pigeon, goat, llama, sheep, pig, cow, alpaca, duck, farmed fish, etc. must register their name, home address, telephone number and Global Positioning System (GPS) coordinates of their home in a Federal database. Secondly, in order for any animal to leave its birth farm, the owner will be required to obtain a Federal ID number for it which will be kept in a national data base and have the animal biochipped. Animals will have to be registered if they leave the farm for any reason; to go on a trail ride, to go to a show or fair, to be bought or sold, to be bred by a stud on another farm, or to be taken to the local butcher, or anywhere else. The most likely type of ID will be a bio-microchip containing a low power radio transmitter so that the chips can be read from a distance. NAIS would allow “industry” to decide if retinal scans and DNA samples would also be required. Of course large scale Agrobiz has exempted itself from individual identification. (Agrobiz producers will be allowed to use one ID number for groups of hundreds or even thousands of animals that are raised and processed together.)
Americans will be required to report every time an animal enters or leaves their property, every time an animal loses a tag, every time a tag is replaced, the slaughter or death of an animal, or if an animal is missing. Such events must be reported in 24 hours or owners would suffer an as yet unspecified penalty. Small family farms and organic farmers will be driven out of business by the costs of premises registration fees, individual animal ID fees, event reporting fees, electronic tags or chips, electronic readers, home computers, Internet access, phone service, and reporting software. According to the USDA's plan all of these costs will be born by the animal owners.

NAIS might enhance Agrobiz’s export markets and allow tracing of animal movements to track disease outbreaks which is its stated goal. But it will not make the American consumer safer. The most common type of meat contamination in the United States is bacterial, such as E coli. and Listeria. It is not discovered until masses of people become ill. Since Agrobiz processes meat in huge packing plants with thousands of animals being slaughtered a day, NAIS is useless to determine if the contamination was from one animal, multiple animals, or unsanitary conditions at the packing plant itself. Contaminated meat from giant Agrobiz processor is sent to all 50 states endangering millions of consumers simultaneously. On the other hand family farms, organic farmers, and private citizens their animals in natural and healthy conditions because they are raising their animals for themselves and their neighbors’ tables. When they are driven out of the market, America’s food supply will become less safe not more so. The consolidation of America’s food supply by Agrobiz makes it more vulnerable to terrorists. As Americas meat industry becomes a giant monopoly where all meat is processed in a few giant packing plants then it becomes easier for terrorists to deliberately contaminate millions of pounds of meat in one attack.

I believe that many varieties of farm animals (not just rare breeds) will become extinct as individuals give up animal raising rather than submit to all the required fees and bureaucracy or agree to having their home pinpointed by satellite and their personal information put in a national database. The only animals that will survive will be those that Monsanto, Cargill and company deem the most profitable.

The USDA's NAIS Timeline:

• July, 2005: All States capable of premises registration.
• July, 2005: Animal Identification Number system operational.
• April, 2007: Premises registration and animal identification “alerts”.
• January, 2008: Premises registration and animal identification required.
• January, 2009: Reporting of defined animal movements required; entire program becomes mandatory.

I urge you to take immediate action in fighting the implementation of NAIS. Widespread objection by Americans can still stop the implementation of NAIS or at least create exemptions for religious objectors, home breeders, and/or small scale farmers and ranchers.

Please e-mail this posting to everyone that you know. Contact breed associations, organic and sustainable farming groups, neighbors, and family and ask them to oppose NAIS. Ask them to organize letter writing campaigns to the USDA. Write to your Federal and state legislators. Oppose any state level implementation of NAIS. (Some states such as Wisconsin are already implementing NAIS registration and biochipping.)"

Protecting us  from outbreaks of animal disease

This is already mandatory in Wisconsin but the USDA site says it is voluntary..........for now.

I have just watched a Google video of a lecture given in 2005 about the hideous montrosity that is the Codex Alimentarius.

Unfortunately the video in question, and several other quotes in this thread, are from the figureheads of a very questionable group of organizations all headed by Rima Laibow and Major General Albert Stubblebine... Health Freedom USA, Natural Solutions Foundation, etc

The real fight against CODEX Alimentarius was started decades ago by Dr Mathias Rath, in Europe. The Rath Foundation has effectively slowed the passage of CODEX legislation in Europe with a very well organized campaign. The Natural Solutions Foundation has done nothing but bluff, bluster and self promote... and spread hyperbolic tales of their success.

The Rath organization began to question these grandiose claims from Laibow and Stubblebine. To date, the Natural Solutions Foundation has not addressed the questions raised by Rath, but have aggressively intimidated, by threat of legal action (Pepin style), smaller forums and websites who have publicly discussed the incongruities of the demonstrably false claims of Rima and Stubby... who are clearly beginning to look like controlled opposition.

Here is a SOTT thread that deals with the topic - http://www.cassiopaea.org/forum/index.php?topic=8395.0

Following are a couple of articles from the Rath Foundation website. They are filled with embedded reference links, so a trip to the original site posts is in order for those who wish to dig deeper into this.

Codex and Health Freedom –
Be Wary of the ‘Instant Experts’

July 2006 – There is currently a significant amount of inaccurate and misleading information circulating on the internet about Codex and other related health freedom issues, much of which would appear to have originated on the website of the so-called Natural Solutions Foundation. Whilst the Natural Solutions Foundation's Medical Director, Rima Laibow, claims to have carefully studied more than 16,000 pages of Codex documentation, the content of her articles and the nature of her proposed strategies strongly suggests otherwise. The following article may therefore help you to sort the facts from the fiction.

Codex Alimentarius is not an easy subject to get to grips with. With as many as 27 active committees meeting on an annual basis and reports comprising a total of over 1,400 pages in 2005 alone, it is hardly surprising that most people have neither the time nor the inclination to investigate it thoroughly for themselves. As such, when relying upon other people for information one needs to be sure that they have done their research properly; especially so in the case of organizations such as the Natural Solutions Foundation, and its misleading inference that it only takes 5 minutes to explain what the Codex Alimentarius problem is all about. Sadly, therefore, and as we show here, much of the Codex-related material output by the Natural Solutions Foundation is both inaccurate and misleading.

FICTION: Codex will go into global effect on December 31, 2009.

FACT: The Natural Solutions Foundation do not seem to be aware that ‘Codex’ already consists of around 300 official food standards, some of which have been in ‘global effect’ since as long ago as 1966.

If however the Natural Solutions Foundation is referring specifically to the Codex Guidelines for Vitamin and Mineral Food Supplements then it is in fact confusing these with the European Union's Food Supplements Directive.

The Guidelines for Vitamin and Mineral Food Supplements were adopted by the Codex Alimentarius Commission in July 2005, and provide a framework for the development of global restrictions upon the manufacture and sale of dietary supplements containing vitamins and minerals. However, the Guidelines have not yet established the maximum levels of vitamins and minerals that can be contained in supplements, and nor has there been any date set for the adoption of these.

The European Union's Food Supplements Directive, on the other hand, will go into full effect in Europe on December 31, 2009, but it is a piece of European legislation and as such will primarily affect consumers living in Europe. Moreover, the Directive has not yet set the maximum levels of vitamins and minerals that can be contained in supplements sold in the European Union, and nor has there been any date set for the adoption of legislation to implement such levels.

FICTION: Theoretical exceptions exist for natural substances which are submitted and accepted for testing by July 12, 2005 at a cost of approximately $250,000 per submission.

FACT: As with the previous example, the Natural Solutions Foundation is confusing the Codex Guidelines for Vitamin and Mineral Food Supplements with the European Union's Food Supplements Directive.

Under the text of the Food Supplements Directive, vitamins and minerals not on the permitted ("positive") lists are prohibited from being marketed in Europe. There is an exception to this restriction however, which is when a safety dossier supporting use of the substance in question was submitted to the European Commission, the European Union's executive body, by 12 July 2005. According to the UK Food Standards Agency, industry estimates regarding the cost of producing these safety dossiers ranged from £80,000 to £250,000 per dossier.

The Codex Guidelines for Vitamin and Mineral Food Supplements, meanwhile, don't actually differentiate between natural and synthetic vitamins and minerals, and explicitly permit both to be used in the manufacture of supplements.

FICTION: Countries who pass the Natural Solutions Foundation's Revised Vitamin and Mineral Guidelines would be protecting themselves from the unbearable burden of World Trade Organization sanctions.

FACT: This is utter nonsense. Tellingly, therefore, what the Natural Solutions Foundation has seemingly not as yet publicly addressed is the specific legal mechanism via which their revisions could supposedly be utilized in place of the official Codex guidelines.

In the real world, of course, compliance with the official Vitamin and Mineral Food Supplement Guidelines is effectively mandatory, and until such time as it is revised by Codex itself the existing text is unfortunately the only game in town.

FICTION: Codex has officially reclassified Vitamin C and every other vitamin and mineral your body needs from the class of ‘nutrients’ to the class of ‘toxins.’

FACT: Whilst it is true that through its proposed use of risk assessment to determine safe upper levels for vitamins and minerals Codex will essentially be treating these nutrients like toxins, it has not officially reclassified them as such, and nor could it, as they occur naturally in foods and are essential for life. In fact, vitamin and mineral supplements are actually classified as foods by Codex, which is why its guidelines for these products are entitled the Guidelines for Vitamin and Mineral Food Supplements.

In short, therefore, the claim by the Natural Solutions Foundation that "Codex has officially reclassified Vitamin C and every other vitamin and mineral your body needs from the class of ‘nutrients’ to the class of ‘toxins’" is both untrue and absurd.

FICTION: The CODEX ALIMENTARIUS Commission meets every two years, always offshore (Rome, Bonn, Paris, etc.) and never in Smallville, U.S.A.

FACT: The Codex Alimentarius Commission holds its meetings in Geneva and Rome. It never meets in either Bonn or Paris. The Commission's subsidiary committees and task forces, however, meet in a wide variety of locations around the world, including Bonn and Paris.

Moreover, the Codex Committee on Food Hygiene has held 32 of its 37 annual meetings since 1964 in the United States, the vast majority of which have taken place in Washington D.C. Similarly, the Codex Committee on Residues of Veterinary Drugs in Foods has held 14 of its 16 meetings since 1986 in the United States, the majority of which have also taken place in Washington D.C.

This information can all be found in the Codex Procedural Manual. Was this publication included amongst the 16,000 pages of Codex documentation that Rima Laibow, the Natural Solutions Foundation's Medical Director, claims to have carefully studied, one wonders?

FICTION: Dr. Grossklaus, the head of Codex Alimentarius, owns the Risk Assessment company advising CCNFSDU and Codex on the "benefit" of using Risk Assessment to assess nutrients.

FACT: Dr. Rolf Grossklaus is the Chairman of the Codex Committee on Nutrition and Foods for Special Dietary Uses (CCNFSDU), not the ‘head of Codex Alimentarius’. Moreover, to the best of our knowledge he does not own any risk assessment company advising CCNFSDU or Codex on the benefit of using risk assessment to assess nutrients.

FICTION: Dr. Rolf Grossklaus, CCNFSDU chairman, is also the Chairman of the Board of BfR, a private corporation which specializes in Risk Assessment.

FACT: As well as being Chairman of the Codex Committee on Nutrition and Foods for Special Dietary Uses (CCNFSDU) Dr. Rolf Grossklaus is Director of BfR. However, BfR (the Federal Institute for Risk Assessment) is a German Federal Government Agency, not a private corporation.

FICTION: Dr. Grossklaus, Chairman of CAC and anti-nutrition Chairman of the pivotal "Codex Committee on Nutrition and Foods for Special Dietary Uses" (CCNFSDU), had the delegate from India bodily removed during a November 2003 CCNFSDU meeting. The delegate's crime? Insisting on discussing the inclusion of CCNFSDU-approved material in baby formula which could kill 10% of newborns in his country. After the delegate was forcibly removed, Dr. Grossklaus nonchalantly declared the issue approved by "consensus".

FACT: Codex meetings can indeed be dramatic at times, however the above statement is utterly false. Significantly therefore, it is apparent that the authors of the above statement, the Natural Solutions Foundation, did not even bother to attend the November 2003 Codex meeting in question. Perhaps this might have something to do with the fact that their website did not come into existence until February 2005?

FICTION: DSHEA Protects America From Codex Alimentarius.

FACT: DSHEA only protects America from Codex so long as it remains in place and unaltered, and so long as other legislation isn't passed to weaken its effectiveness. There are now a growing number of threats to DSHEA that could, in time, potentially conspire to dismantle it. The most serious of these threats are the Codex Guidelines for Vitamin and Mineral Food Supplements, compliance with which is effectively mandatory.

FICTION: The World Health Organization (WHO) has "severely chastised" the Codex Alimentarius Commission (CAC) for not making a significant contribution to human health in its 42 years of existence.

FACT: This claim was made by the Natural Solutions Foundation, who also reported after the July 2005 meeting of the Codex Alimentarius Commission in Rome that a "miracle" had occurred; that a WHO Under Secretary for Food Safety had spoken "sternly, sharply and scathingly of the fact that little contribution to human health had been made by Codex"; that WHO had stated that "things would be different in the future"; that the Terms of Reference of the Codex Committee on Food Labeling and the Codex Committee on Nutrition and Foods for Special Dietary Uses are going to be redefined; that "Codex will implement the WHO Global Strategy for world health through diet, physical exercise and nutrition"; and that "Codex will make a yearly report to the World Health Assembly about its progress in implementing the WHO Strategy".

However, and as we have described previously in our article ‘Miracle in Rome?’, these assertions are largely either mistaken or exaggerated.

WHO and FAO did not express "significant displeasure with the anti-health approach to nutrition taken by Codex over the past 4 decades" at this meeting. Moreover, neither did they state that "little contribution to human health had been made by Codex", or that "things would be different in the future."

In addition, although a paper prepared in advance of the meeting by WHO and FAO had suggested that consideration could be given to the possibility of considering amendments to the terms of reference of CCFL and/or CCNFSDU, this matter was not brought up at the Codex meeting itself. Indeed, and as the transcripts and recordings from the Codex Alimentarius Commission's discussions on the Global Strategy clearly demonstrate, both the UK (speaking for the 25 countries of the European Union) and the United States appeared to be of the opinion that the current Codex mandate should be retained.

As such, therefore, although it is certainly possible that Codex will participate in the implementation of the Global Strategy, it presently seems likely that this work would be carried out within the current terms of its mandate, and that as such it is likely to pay little real attention to nutrition and dietary supplements.

FICTION: What the mass media won't report: the WHO is furious with Codex.

This is absolute nonsense and a total reversal of the truth, as contrary to the claims of the Natural Solutions Foundation Codex was not "Scolded in Rome" at the July 2005 meeting of the Codex Alimentarius Commission. Significantly therefore, Janice Albert, a Nutrition Officer from the Nutrition and Consumer Protection Division of FAO, has now confirmed to the National Health Federation that there has been no condemnation by either FAO or WHO of Codex on the subject of nutrition.

FICTION: A "Stunning Victory" for health freedom occurred at the May 2006 meeting of the Codex Committee on Food Labelling (CCFL) in Ottawa, Canada.

FACT: This is yet another example of the increasingly inaccurate Codex reports put out by the Natural Solutions Foundation.

For example, the Natural Solution Foundation's own Legal Counsel, Ralph Fucetola, JD attended the meeting in Ottawa, and provided a report on it to his Vitamin Lawyer contact elist. Fucetola has been practicing law, specializing in Nutrient and Alternative Health Law, since the early 1970s, and has been widely recognized as a leading attorney in the field. Significantly therefore, not only does his report omit mention of any "Stunning Victory", but it also specifically states that "Both vitamin purveyors and consumers could be the losers" and that "‘business as usual’ predominated" at the meeting. Moreover, Fucetola also describes "a coordinated attack on natural health lead by the otherwise rival US and EU delegations", and talks about "the marginalization of the Global Strategy".

Similarly, an experienced delegation from the National Health Federation was also present at the meeting. Established in 1955, the National Health Federation is no stranger to Codex issues, and to this day remains the only health-freedom organization in the world that is officially credentialed as an INGO (International Non-Governmental Organization) by the Codex Alimentarius Commission with the right to attend and speak out at its committee meetings. The National Health Federation's report on the Ottawa meeting concludes that "with anti-health-freedom delegations such as the United States and the European Commission running the show at Codex and with most other delegations blissfully uncaring or unknowledgeable about the true health benefits that optimal health and nutrition play in preventing disease and other health problems, the direction of the various Codex guidelines is still off-course".

For full details of what really happened at this meeting, we strongly recommend that you take a look at our in-depth report. As it clearly shows, not only was there no "Stunning Victory" for health freedom at this meeting, but in reality the Codex position remains blindly ignorant of the benefits of dietary supplements. As such, the Codex Alimentarius Commission's increasingly desperate attempts to protect the global markets in pharmaceuticals, artificial food additives, agricultural chemicals and genetically-modified foods will, for the time being at least, continue exactly as before.

FICTION: In line with the WHO Global Strategy On Diet, Physical Activity and Health, Codex is now directed to implement the eleven pro-health freedom principles recommended by South Africa at the May 2006 meeting of the Codex Committee on Food Labelling (CCFL) in Ottawa, Canada.

FACT: Despite erroneous claims to the contrary by the Natural Solutions Foundation, Codex has not been directed to implement the eleven pro-health freedom principles recommended by South Africa. Not only does the official Codex report released after the meeting make no mention of any such instruction, for example, but it sums up South Africa's eleven extensive proposals in a mere 9 lines. To draw an analogy, claiming that this directs Codex to implement South Africa's principles is akin to claiming that when a politician stood up in Parliament and made a great speech his statements were a stunning victory for his policies because they were summarised in the minutes.

Moreover, the text of the WHO Global Strategy on Diet, Physical Exercise and Health makes no mention of the word "supplements" or of the terms "dietary supplements" / "food supplements". Regrettably therefore, we remain confident that whilst Codex may well participate in the implementation of the Global Strategy, it will not be encouraging the unrestricted sale of dietary supplements as recommended by South Africa.

FICTION: Codex Alimentarius sharply restricts or eliminates most medicinal herbs and limits the conditions which can be treated using medicinal herbs to a small number of trivial ones.

FACT: Contrary to the claims of the Natural Solutions Foundation, the main Codex texts that relate directly to herbs are the Guide for the Microbiological Quality of Spices and Herbs Used in Processed Meat and Poultry Products and the Code of Hygienic Practice for Spices and Dried Aromatic Plants. However, and as will be immediately apparent from their titles, these texts deal with culinary herbs, not medicinal ones. Moreover, whilst some other Codex texts, such as the General Standard for the Labelling of Prepackaged Foods and the General Standard for Food Additives, also make mention of herbs, these likewise deal with culinary herbs, not medicinal ones.

Codex last considered the issue of medicinal herbs in 1996, when the meeting of the Codex Committee on Nutrition and Foods for Special Dietary Uses (CCNFSDU) that took place in Bonn, Germany, in October 1996 considered a new proposal by the Codex Coordinating Committee for North America and the South West Pacific to establish lists of ‘Potentially Harmful Herbs and Botanical Preparations sold as Foods’.

Subsequent to the 1996 CCNFSDU meeting the Codex Alimentarius Commission met in Geneva in June 1997, and agreed that no further action was needed concerning herbs and botanicals, on the grounds that this was a matter for national authorities to address. The matter was therefore deleted from the Commission's Work Programme.

As such, it can be seen that Codex does not restrict or eliminate most medicinal herbs, and nor does it limit the conditions which can be treated using medicinal herbs to a small number of trivial ones.

FICTION: An official joint publication by the WHO and FAO called "Diet, Nutrition and the Prevention of Chronic Diseases" is in favor of nutritional supplementation.

FACT: The WHO/FAO's "Diet, Nutrition and the Prevention of Chronic Diseases" publication describes how shifting dietary patterns, a decline in energy expenditure associated with a sedentary lifestyle, an ageing population – together with tobacco use and alcohol consumption – are major risk factors for noncommunicable diseases and pose an increasing challenge to public health.

However, and contrary to the claims of the Natural Solutions Foundation, this publication is mostly strongly dismissive of the relationship between dietary supplements and the prevention of disease. For example, when discussing the risk of developing cardiovascular diseases, vitamin E supplements are described as convincingly having "no relationship" to the prevention of this particular class of diseases. (Page 88). Moreover, beta-carotene supplements are even described in the publication as possibly increasing the risk of developing cardiovascular diseases. (Page 82).

Similarly, evidence that dietary elements such as vitamin E, chromium or magnesium might decrease the risk of developing diabetes is described as "insufficient" (Page 77); whilst evidence that vitamins B2, B6, folate, B12, C, D, E, calcium, zinc or selenium might decrease the risk of developing cancer is merely described as "possible/insufficient". (Page 100).

In conclusion, therefore, whilst the aforementioned WHO/FAO publication does of course have some positive things to say about nutrition in general, it would be a gross exaggeration, at best, to say that it is in favor of nutritional supplementation.

FICTION: The WTO can take a country to court in its own courts.

FACT: This is yet another example of a grossly inaccurate statement from the Natural Solutions Foundation, as although the WTO is increasingly using Codex texts as the benchmark when ruling on international trade disputes it cannot in itself take countries to court. Trade disputes are initiated by countries, not the WTO, and the resulting cases are heard at the WTO's headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland, not in a country's own courts.

FICTION: CAFTA is not a health freedom issue.

FACT: CAFTA (the Central American Free Trade Agreement) extends the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA – a treaty between Canada, the United States, and Mexico) to Central America and the Dominican Republic, thus acting as a stepping-stone towards the creation of a hemispheric, harmonized trading bloc for the entire American continent.

As such, and in exactly the same way as the relatively liberal dietary supplement laws of the UK were eventually overridden by the restrictive European Union Food Supplements Directive (as a result of successive treaties that the British Government had signed with its European neighbors), CAFTA could ultimately lead to US dietary supplement regulations (i.e. DSHEA) becoming susceptible to harmonization with the more restrictive laws of countries in Central America.

Contrary to the erroneous claims of the Natural Solutions Foundation, therefore, CAFTA is therefore most definitely a health freedom issue.

FICTION: FTAA is not a major health freedom threat.

FACT: FTAA (the Free Trade Area of the Americas) is undoubtedly a major health freedom threat, as it would effectively extend CAFTA into South America, thus creating a harmonized pan-American trading bloc encompassing the entire American continent. This could ultimately lead to US dietary supplement regulations becoming susceptible to harmonization with the more restrictive laws of countries in both Central and South America.

Although the ultimate goal of the FTAA is officially described as being to "achieve an area of free trade and regional integration", the recent evidence of the European Union (EU) project shows that this can only be achieved via the dismantling of the political and legal systems of participating nations and the replacing of these with a hemispheric government. In essence, therefore, this is why many observers see the FTAA as an embryonic EU in the making.

Following the recent Summit of the Americas that took place in Argentina, however, where leaders from Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay and Venezuela were unable to agree to move forward with the FTAA project, some commentators were quick to suggest that the plan is now dead and buried. Nevertheless, such a conclusion would not appear to be warranted by the facts, as 29 of the 34 proposed participant countries want to resume talks on the issue in 2006 and Mexico's President Vicente Fox has specifically stated that these nations are willing to move forward with free trade negotiations without the dissenting countries.

Given that South American leaders are already developing a political and economic bloc modelled on the European Union, it is becoming increasingly likely that a harmonized pan-American trading bloc encompassing the entire American continent would also utilize the European Union as its model, and incorporate similar Codex-compliant restrictions upon health freedom and freedom of choice to those that already exist in Europe.

Significantly therefore, FTAA participant countries including Antigua and Barbuda, Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Jamaica, Mexico, Nicaragua, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, United States, Uruguay and Venezuela all sent delegations to the July 2005 meeting of the Codex Alimentarius Commission in Rome, and not one of them opposed the adoption of the Guidelines for Vitamin and Mineral Food Supplements as the new global standard.

As such therefore, and in contrast to the claims of the Natural Solutions Foundation, the idea that FTAA is not a major health freedom threat is becoming increasingly difficult to understand.

FICTION: Linus Pauling, Ph.D., won the first of his two Nobel Prizes for his work on Vitamin C.

FACT: Linus Pauling won the first of his two Nobel Prizes in 1954 "for his research into the nature of the chemical bond and its application to the elucidation of the structure of complex substances". His second Nobel Prize was for Peace, and was won in 1962. Neither of these prizes were won for work on vitamin C.

FICTION: The Natural Solutions Foundation has a listening ear and a potential ally in the President of India, Mr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam.

FACT: No such commitment has been made by the President, and we are confident that the President's Office would deny the contents of the publicity issued by the Natural Solutions Foundation in relation to this claim.

FICTION: A major newspaper in this country runs a full page story on the importance of our stand on Codex and health freedom! We will scan it and share it with you AFTER the Codex meeting. It urges the country to take care to protect its access to healthy and natural options! In color, no less!

FACT: No scan of any such African newspaper story has ever either been published on the Natural Solutions Foundation's website or sent out to its newsletter subscribers.

Then there is this, again chock full of embeds at the original source link:

A Modern Major General Exposed?

The fictional Major-General who appears in Gilbert and Sullivan's 1879 comic opera "The Pirates of Penzance" famously sings boastfully about his extremely wide general knowledge. Hardly the most modest of people, he comically claims to know about or to understand all manner of disparate subjects, and repeatedly tells the audience that he is "the very model of a modern Major-General."

Not entirely dissimilarly therefore, the health freedom movement has recently been subjected to the increasingly bizarre claims of a real-life Major-General, a man who, rather like his counterpart in The Pirates of Penzance, claims to be an expert in all manner of things.

Major General Albert (Bert) N. Stubblebine III (U.S. Army, Retired) graduated from The United States Military Academy (West Point) in 1952, and served in the US Army for 32 years. Starting his career as an Armor officer, he subsequently rose through the ranks to lead troops at every echelon of Army command, and held several senior posts in US Army Intelligence. His commands as a General Officer included the US Army Intelligence Center and School, the Army's Electronic Research and Development Command (ERADCOM) and the US Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM). Whilst on active duty Stubblebine also redesigned the intelligence architecture of the United States Army, and restructured the Army Intelligence training curriculum. After his retirement from the Army in 1984 he served until 1990 as the Vice President for Intelligence Systems at BDM Corporation, a private defense sector contractor, and then acted as a part-time consultant to two government contractors; ERIM, and Space Applications Corporation (SAC). More recently, and along with his wife, the psychiatrist Rima Laibow, Stubblebine sits on the Board of Canadian Submarine Technologies Inc, and claims to be the designer of AEGIS, "a major Homeland Security private initiative".

Given this background, and his resulting proximity to the US Government, eyebrows began to be raised in the health freedom community in early 2005 when, along with Rima Laibow, Stubblebine launched the website of the Natural Solutions Foundation and began to promote himself as an expert on Codex Alimentarius.

However, for a man who had previously held several senior posts in US Army Intelligence, and who as such would be acutely aware of the need to ensure accuracy in the gathering of information, it quickly became apparent to experienced health freedom observers that Stubblebine either hadn't done his homework properly, or that he and Laibow were intentionally spreading inaccurate and misleading material on Codex and other related dietary supplement issues via their website and press releases. Moreover, despite repeated concerns being expressed by more experienced health freedom observers, Stubblebine and Laibow continued to disseminate this material, and pointedly ignored requests to remove it from their website.

The inaccuracy of their written output on Codex reached a new high in July 2005, when, following the adoption by the Codex Alimentarius Commission of restrictive new global guidelines for vitamin and mineral supplements, Stubblebine and Laibow announced that a miracle had taken place at the Commission's meeting. While the health freedom community looked on in astonishment, Stubblebine and Laibow went on to claim that during the meeting a World Health Organization (WHO) Under Secretary for Food Safety had spoken "sternly, sharply and scathingly of the fact that little contribution to human health had been made by Codex" and that WHO had stated that "things would be different in the future". Of course, the Dr. Rath Health Foundation later proved, definitively, that these assertions were largely either mistaken or exaggerated; however this unfortunately didn't stem what was by then becoming a growing tide of inaccuracy flowing from Stubblebine and Laibow.

Next, for example, following a meeting of the Codex Committee on Food Labelling that took place in Ottawa, Canada in May 2006, Stubblebine claimed that the meeting's outcome was a "Stunning Victory" for health freedom, despite the fact that such an assertion had absolutely no basis in fact, as proven by the Dr. Rath Health Foundation and confirmed by other experienced observers who were present at the meeting, including even the Natural Solutions Foundation's own legal council.

Perhaps not surprisingly therefore, Stubblebine did not take kindly to being repeatedly exposed in this way, and subsequently confronted Paul Anthony Taylor at the July 2006 meeting of the Codex Alimentarius Commission, in Geneva. Paul's summary of this encounter follows below:

Immediately after the close of the meeting Bert Stubblebine approached me and positioned himself so that I could not easily walk away. His manner was somewhat aggressive, and at one point I had to tell him that there was no need to shout, as his raised voice and threatening manner were beginning to attract the attention of other delegates. He claimed that the subject of his anger was the Foundation's Codex meeting in Ottawa article, as well as the Miracle in Rome? and Be Wary of the Instant Experts articles that had recently been revised to include his and Rima Laibow's names. He asked me whether I wrote these articles, and I answered that the decision to name him in them was taken by the Executive Board of the Dr. Rath Health Foundation. In turn, I asked him whether he disagreed with any of the factual corrections that the Dr. Rath Health Foundation had published regarding the fictional nature of material put out by his organization, and, if so, which ones? "All of them", he answered.

By this point we had been joined by his wife, Rima Laibow, who, seemingly white with anger, proceeded to ask me some of the same questions that Bert had just asked me. I therefore told her that I had just answered these same questions to Bert, and that as such I saw no need to answer them again. Rima then proceeded to ask me "Who are the Executive Board of the Dr. Rath Health Foundation?", and I told her that the relevant names could all be found on the Foundation's website. At this they both about-turned and stormed off, and Rima muttered something whilst they were walking away to the effect that they would find that information very interesting.

The Dr. Rath Health Foundation believes that the health freedom movement now needs to ask several important questions of Stubblebine and the Natural Solutions Foundation:

1.

Why are Codex reports issued by the Natural Solutions Foundation increasingly at odds with those of more experienced observers, including even those of its own Legal Counsel?
2.

Why does the Natural Solutions Foundation claim that miracles and stunning victories for health freedom have taken place at Codex meetings when in reality no such miracles or stunning victories have taken place?
3.

Why does Stubblebine – a man who has held several senior posts in US Army Intelligence and who as such will be acutely aware of the need to ensure accuracy in the gathering of information – continue to permit the National Solutions Foundation's articles and press releases to contain numerous crucial inaccuracies, and why does he refuse to correct them?
4.

Was it Stubblebine's intention to try to intimidate Paul Anthony Taylor at the July 2006 meeting of the Codex Alimentarius Commission in Geneva?
5.

Given that Stubblebine once admitted in a court of law that his "real expertise is government, primarily intelligence", and, when asked whether he had any other skills, answered "Not particularly", what does he expect the health freedom movement to conclude regarding his spreading of inaccurate and misleading material on Codex and other related dietary supplement issues?

Is Albert Stubblebine "the very model of a modern Major-General"? We'll leave you to make up your own minds on that one, and can only but wonder what Gilbert and Sullivan might have made of him. One thing is for sure however, in that the fictional Major-General in "The Pirates of Penzance", with his "pretty taste for paradox", would probably find a man with a background in the Intelligence Community, but who can't seem to get his facts right, most interesting indeed.

One would do well to consider the above information carefully before attaching any faith to the claims issuing forth from the Natural Solutions Foundation.

In just the past week a forum reposted a story, mentioning Laibow/Stubblebine in an unfavorable light, from the Ken Adachi website. _http://educate-yourself.org/cn/soundsofsilence11dec08.shtml

This post was carried to (the usual suspect) Rense. Within a couple of days the threats of legal action from NSF arrived. Rense and the other forum immediately complied and pulled down the posts. Strangely enough, the original article is still up at Adachi's site. This might indicate Adachi is a useful idiot, eh? Allow Adachi's page to remain up and it then becomes simple to track the link posted at other sites for the purpose of intimidation.... in hopes that the site owners are not aware of SLAPP.

Here is a copy of the NSF rebuttal email which the offending sites received:

The TRUTH Is Our Defense
12-25-8

Confused About the Natural Solutions Foundation? That's Exactly What the Other Side Wants!

There is only one defense for libel or slander: the truth. Since the recent Internet attacks against us contain no truth, they are, by definition, both libel and slander. Why are they happening? It is really quite simple: Your ill health is big business (the biggest) and the other side has all the money it needs to buy disinformation and disinformation agents. So there are agents provocateur, people who stir up division and trouble on demand, out there trying to attack the Natural Solutions Foundation. We are the largest and far and away the most successful health freedom organization in the world.

And then there are what Lenin called "useful idiots", people who unwittingly do the work of the tyrannizers. Sadly, health freedom has both in abundance.

Note: A negative can not be proven (I am NOT this, I have NOT done that), but such accusations are made about us not because they are true, but because they can be made to SOUND true, made to appear plausible through the Big Lie techniques of disinformation.

We get attacked all the time, notably when we are RIGHT on target. This go around is no exception.

If you haven't encountered the latest attacks, good. Ignore this. If you have encountered them, ignore the attacks. Here's why:

Fact from Rima E. Laibow, MD: I am not now and have never been associated with the CIA, Big Pharma, the US Government except as a tax payer and a citizen, the New World Order or any of its faces, or any other force trying to control you or me. I act as I see fit and say what I believe to be true based on the best of my information and knowledge. Period. Natural Solutions Foundation is so effective in our opposition to the Powers That Be that a serious attempt was apparently made on my life a year ago. We have been met with guns at the Codex meeting to keep us under guard and away from the other attendees and delegates. We have been threatened by representatives of the industries and agencies whose agendas we oppose. We have been attacked directly by the Chairman of Codex from the Podium during a Codex meeting and Dr. Barbara Schneeman, the US Codex Representative at a recent Codex meeting actually told members of our pro-health nations' delegates to stay away from us since we "got things wrong" and that they, the developing world, should come to HER, instead, for answers to their questions and concerns! The members of the developing nations' delegations came running to me roaring with laughter after these conversations! I would say that we are pretty clearly UNcontrolled opposition, and pretty good at it, too!

Fact from General Stubblebine: I am the Foundation's President. I retired from Active Duty in 1984. Before that, my operational commander was the Deputy Director of the CIA and I held all clearances of which I was aware although I now know that there were others that I did not hold. I continued to work as a Defense Contractor until 1992 or so and retired from that business. At that time, I allowed ALL my security clearances to lapse and have no more access to classified, sensitive or other restricted data than you do. Dr. Rima has no clearances of any kind and has neither applied for any nor been given any.

Fact from the Trustees of the Natural Solutions Foundation: We do not individually or as an organization care if Keven Miller makes one or a thousand films of any length. The film was commissioned to provide the center of a public relations storm starting 6 weeks before the Codex meeting later that year. That would have meant a release date of April 15, 2005. We were compelled to sue him for failure to meet his contractual obligations because the mother who mortgaged her house in order to pay for the film which the Foundation commissioned opposing the Vitamin and Mineral Guideline, slated for ratification on July 4, 2005 requested a refund when the film was not forthcoming as promised on April 15, 2005. Miller did not produce the film in a timely fashion, releasing it on June 29, 2005, far too late to accomplish its public relations goal and did not make the film for which he had been contracted. We requested the donor's money back. After a legal proceeding, Miller agreed to a settlement in which he paid back the money under terms which the settlement prevents either Miller or our side from disclosing. Miller defaulted on those payments but the family chose not to pursue him at this time since they felt it was throwing good money after bad.

Fact from the Trustees of the Natural Solutions Foundation: The Natural Solutions Foundation accept NO corporate sponsorship. One hundred percent of its funding comes either from the money that General Stubblebine and Dr. Rima put into it (our life savings and the proceeds from the sale of our lovely home in Westchester, NY in 2007) or what private donors donate. We work for free, take no salary, compensation, or other benefit from the Foundation and, instead, pay for any expense shortfall with our dwindling resources. Council Ralph Fucetola, JD devotes at least half time every month on the same basis. Our other staff are similarly all volunteer. Where is the profit? Where is the misuse of funds? Every penny goes into the work of the Foundation. We provide the overhead, the office, the ink, the internet, the paper, the time and the skill to run it. There are no salaries to drain the impact of your donations. None.

Fact from General Stubblebine: I am NOT the illusory violent, abusive, alcoholic, "CIA Agent" father of a multiply hospitalized paranoid schizophrenic "activist" whose charges hit the Internet and then reverberate to his glee and our undeserved discredit, despite the bizarre letters we, and others have received to that effect. Nor have I ever stared a goat (or anything else) to death, nor has he tried to do so. I did, while on active duty, learn about the purported human capacity to do so and brought the idea that it might be possible to Fort Bragg, home of the Special Forces, with which I have no connection. I never heard what happened to the technology thereafter.

Facts from General Stubblebine and Rima E. Laibow, MD: General Stubblebine: I have never had any connection, part in, knowledge about, or dealings with the Mind Control program. I believed, until he met Dr. Rima in 1991, that the program had been stopped following the demand of Congress that MK Ultra and other Mind Control programs cease immediately. Anyone making these assertions has no idea how compartmentalization and clearances work: the need to know determines what you know. I was in Strategic Intelligence and had no need to know, so I was never "read into" any Mind Control Program.

Dr. Rima: I knew that the Mind Control programs had continued because as a psychiatrist and social activist I had been introduced to a number of people who claimed the same events/conditioning/torture had happened to each of them. The similarity attracted my attention and I learned a great deal about the Mind Control programs. In fact, long before I met General Stubblebine, a Congressional Staffer friend brought data and people to me to evaluate whether these people had, in fact, been subjected to Mind Control techniques and asked me if I thought the subject was worth another round of Congressional Hearings. I was able, through this documentation, to convince the highly skeptical General Stubblebine in 1991-2 that this program had continued after Congress ordered it disbanded.

Fact from Rima E. Laibow, MD : I have never administered, supervised or been associated with electroshock or electroconvulsive (ECT) therapy in any form. I turned down a fine position with a major University hospital because I would have been forced to either administer or supervise ECT and I am unwilling to do that for any reason. I have spent my entire career in psychiatry and medicine using non-drug treatments rather than drug ones. For example, when I was asked to take over an in patient psychiatric ward for children and adolescents in Connecticut, I took every child and teen ager in the ward off drugs. The administration of the hospital and the insurance companies protested vigorously, but the children got better and the horrific behaviors and side effects (read, "brain damage" caused by the drugs) diminished significantly.

Fact from General Stubblebine and Rima E. Laibow, MD: It makes no difference whether General Stubblebine and I were lovers before his divorce! (DUH!) The assertions of an angry spouse during divorce proceeding in 1994 are neither accurate nor relevant. I would say our detractors are scraping all the way through the bottom of the barrel and into the dirt below if this is what they need to uses to damage us. Shame!

Fact from the Trustees of the Natural Solutions Foundation : We are not using high pressure tactics to separate people from their money, IRAs or 401s. The government of the United States is about to do just that and we have a legitimate and helpful humanitarian project in Panama which can accept these funds. The Valley of the Moon Eco(TM) Demonstration Community project, part of our International Decade of Nutrition, is a sustainable farm, farm school, natural medical center, etc., offers people many reasons to become a part of it. Those who are interested can learn more and decide whether or not it is for them. Others can ignore it.

Fact from Council Ralph Fucetola, JD: I was asked by one of the attackers to advise her in the medical board hearings which ultimately cost her medical license in the same state in which Dr. Rima is licensed. Despite claims to the contrary, I did not know her when she lost custody of her child. Nor did I "abandon" her during the hearings. Once she was advised that to regain her license she would have to seek psychiatric help she did not, to our knowledge, retain me or another attorney to assist her and remains de-licensed to this day.

The truth is that these detractors, whatever their mental status and their motivation, would add much, much more to the battle for health freedom by actually accomplishing something rather than attacking those who are accomplishing it! If they can behave like adults, they are welcome to join us. We have NEVER attacked anyone and will not. We will, however, take whatever steps we need to in order to protect health freedom and our well-deserved reputations, as we did when we sued Miller to get back the donor's money. These false statements and innuendos must cease and desist.

Had enough of this? Good. let's move on. You can join with us by going to www.HealthFreedomUSA.org and joining our Health Freedom Action eAlert mailing list.

It is interesting to note that the above rebuttal wanders around topics that weren't even discussed in the original offending article. What we have here is a one-size-fits-all form letter.

Until further information arrives demonstrating some positive results from the NSF in halting CODEX, the evidence strongly points to the likelihood that NSF is a controlled opposition COINTELPRO operation, or so I think.

Caveat emptor.

Just a quick reply to 3D Resident:

"Statistically insignificant" refers to the P-value, comparing two groups of (hopefully well matched) samples. While one group may have more "positives" as the other group, this may be down to chance, hence the term "higher, but statistically insignificant". This is a genuine finding, as it simply says that "treatment A" is equivalent to "treatment B".

This may also be influenced by sample size (if chosen too small), but this has nothing to do with the fact that the finding is "statistically insignificant". An example: If you take a dice and you throw numbers, "3" and "6" will each show up 1/6th of the time. The difference in "3" and "6" is therefore "statistically insignificant", and this unrelated to sample size, if it is adequate.

Sample size is determined by "power", which in turn is determined from a pilot study. Usually the power of a study is chosen as 80% chance that a significant difference between A and B can be found (the "significant difference" is then often quite arbitrarily set to what "the experts" think is significant ...)

Just to correct the two concepts of P-value and power of statistical methods ...

The Monsanto Connection

Robert Singer
Atlantic Free Press
Tue, 19 May 2009

I recently published an article "Grandmother Scores Huge Victory over Monsanto".

The article was a magnet for controversy because I claimed the best way to fight Monsanto and HR 875 was by growing your own food and saving seeds.

Linn Cohen-Cole, the libertarian grandmother at the forefront of the anti-HR 875 campaign called me "dangerous" for fostering complacency by encouraging readers to grow their own food instead of send e-mails and faxes...that no one reads.

The Cornucopia Institute and the Organic Consumers Association has already assured organic advocates that HR 875, the Food Safety and Modernization Act, is only "trying to improve the safety of food products derived from large industrial processing facilities and does not intend to trample organic farmers, backyard gardeners or consumers of fresh local foods."

Following the April 3 Cornucopia press release, "Family Farmers Fear Being Run over by Food Safety Juggernaut," organic food activists received a mass e-mail exposing the role of Linn Cole in spreading disinformation about HR 875:

Subject: RETRACTION: URGENT! Monsanto Bill to Ban Organic Food:

"Monsanto, or one of their proxy groups, is actually feeding libertarian groups disinformation on this bill.
The bill doesn't ban organic. When you make that misinformed, but well-intentioned call to your Congressman, you are doing exactly what Monsanto wants - coming across as an ill-informed and hysterical extremist. Monsanto is making a last-ditch effort in this PR war, but they have already really lost it."

Monsanto lost it because 43 million Americans, including First Lady Michelle Obama, have risked going to jail for growing their own food!

This will help you understand what really happened:

1.Monsanto is one of the most powerful multi-national corporations in the world. The Global One-World Government New World Order conspiracy, of which Monsanto is a part, is aimed at controlling millions via the food they eat. "Control oil and you control nations; control food and you control the people," said Henry Kissinger in 1970.

2.Monsanto uses overt and covert strategies to accomplish their goals. Monsanto is behind both sides of the battle over HR 875. They don't leave important matters like these to chance.

3.Monsanto's tentacles reach into every aspect of our society: government, private industry, the military, law enforcement and, of course, agriculture. Large, small, organic and non-organic farmers - and don't forget libertarian grass roots activists - are all influenced directly and indirectly by Monsanto. The company that rose to power in the 20th century as a leading chemical giant now focuses on agriculture. In Monsanto's world, there is no room for the family farmer. The company's well-known corporate bullying tactics have made this clear. Just ask Percy Schmeiser, the brave Canola farmer who dared to take on Monsanto.

4.HR 875's vague wording was intentional.

5.Family Farmers (organic and non-organic) are under attack, but not by Congresswoman DeLauro, the author of HR 875 whose husband was a political consultant to Monsanto 10 years ago.

6.The timing of HR 875 coincides with the slow food, Locavore, and urban gardening movements in the United States and, for that matter, any slow food movement anywhere in the world.

7.The E-coli and salmonella outbreaks related to spinach, tomatoes and peanuts are the work of Monsanto's agents: Things don't happen; they're made to happen.

8.Healthy Family Farm owner Sharon Palmer was arrested for selling raw goat milk, and the Ohio food co-op raided Gestapo-style was obviously instigated by Monsanto agents in a move designed to intimidate urban gardeners.

It doesn't matter if libertarian grandmother Linn Cohen-Cole, or Paul, a farmer from Wisconsin, were accidental dupes or knowing agents of Monsanto's disinformation campaign. It only matters that the disinformation campaign was discovered before it wounded the health freedom movement.

Spreading misinformation, misleading or outright false information is not the way to defeat "food safety" legislation, because when you make that misinformed but well-intentioned call to your Congressman, you are doing exactly what Monsanto wants - coming across as an ill-informed and hysterical extremist.

The very clear and present danger is that our "unelected representatives" will be forced to sit down and actually read HR 875. But when they do, they won't find a ban on heirloom seeds, farmers markets or backyard gardening, because it isn't there. Does anyone think Monsanto would actually put in writing that we are going to arrest Michelle Obama for planting a garden?

If they did, our representatives wouldn't need a flood of frantic messages hollering that HR 875 is the bill that will "kill all farms and eat your babies." No, believe it or not, our representatives eat and go to farmers markets just like we do.

So who is behind this disinformation campaign?

The Natural Solutions Foundation (NSF) originated the Linn Cole articles.

The Organic Consumers Association and other legitimate heath advocates have been questioning the NSF for several years, and the criticism is universally the same: Why does the NSF keep turning out factually inaccurate, hysterically grim articles such as Linn Cole's?

The answers start with the NSF founders, husband-wife team Albert Stubblebine and Rima Laibow. Now, when I accuse these people of being disinformation professionals, let me explain. I'm not saying they're doing sloppy research, and I'm not saying they're being overzealous. What I am saying is that they are working, for pay, to spread false information and to make their organization look like a legitimate activist group.

My conclusion is Stubblebine and Laibow are using the Natural Solutions Foundation - and Linn Cole - to undermine the health freedom community by spreading disinformation about HR 875.

Stubblebine is a retired U.S. Army major general who designed AEGIS, "a major Homeland Security private initiative." Given this background and his ties to the U.S. intelligence community, eyebrows were raised in the health freedom community in early 2005 when, along with Laibow, Stubblebine launched the NSF website and began to promote his wife as an expert on Codex Alimentarius, the commission working to adopt strict new guidelines for vitamin and mineral supplements.

Dr. Rath, founder of the 4.dr-rath-foundation, a legitimate health advocacy group, and the author of "A Modern Major General Exposed?" writes: "It quickly became apparent to experienced health freedom observers that Stubblebine either hadn't done his homework properly, or that he and Laibow were intentionally spreading inaccurate and misleading material about Codex and other related dietary supplement issues via their website and press releases.

Moreover, despite repeated concerns being expressed by more experienced health freedom observers, Stubblebine and Laibow continued to disseminate this material, and pointedly ignored requests to remove it from their website."

In my "Scared to CodeX Death" article, I refer to Dr. Rima Laibow when I write: "And although the effects of Codex are devastating and will result in humans dying from starvation and preventable diseases from under-nutrition, any claims that WHO or FAO have released epidemiological projections are untrue."

Dr. Rima Laibow, to the consternation of those fighting Codex, is the source of the untrue claims about the "epidemiological projections" in her YouTube video "Codex Alimentarious & Nutricide."

The NSF pair want to discredit HR 875, because when the cleverly worded HR 875 finally goes to committee, Monsanto will unleash a massive PR campaign aimed at, guess who? Linn Cohen-Cole and the other lefties who, according to Monsanto, are spreading false and misleading information about an innocent food safety bill.

Later, the headlines such as "HR 875 doesn't criminalize small agriculture" will warn the population about health freedom activists who, by spreading misinformation, are threatening our food safety and free speech. Then, HR 875 and the real threat, HR 859, are passed without fanfare.

End of story.

And when the son of HR 875 is born, the one that really makes it illegal to grow your own food and have a garden, activists will gear up for another war, but it will be too late.

The battle cry from Monsanto will be heard loud and clear:

"Remember HR 875! Don't listen to these reactionaries. They will do anything to cast Monsanto as the Agent Orange-eyed monster. Vote here."

And the epitaph will be written: "The Grandmother Who Cried Wolf"

So if you want to fight Monsanto, take up your hoes and join the 43 million urban gardeners at www.pathtofreedom.com.

You see, what Monsanto is really afraid of is that we are starting to cooperate with each other and grow our own food. It's called the Power of Community.

That's rather interesting. Raibow was sort of involved in the UFO "abductee" deal in the early 90's. I came across an ad in the MUFON magazine for a grant she was handing out in the early 90's.

She rates a mention in the old Doc Hambone people section too.

"As late as the summer of 1991, [C.B. Scott] Jones and Laibow were planning a yachting excursion together with Col. John Alexander to investigate anomalies in the Bahamas."

"Laibow, Stubblebine and ufologist Victoria Lacas (with Jones in the shadows) toured Europe and the Soviet Union, where they have established a prodigious UFO/Psi network."
