The Dot Connector Magazine Joins Forces With SOTT.net!

Yesterday I went out to get the mail and there was something wrapped in a plain brown wrapper. My wife and I both wondered what would come in a plain brown wrapper? First thing we thought of is usually something unmentionable, something you don't want the mailman or neighbors to see. Something of a "nasty/dirty" magazine sort ... We both were quite perplexed. Until I saw on the back it came from France. My wife was intrigued and almost giddy as I opened it to find The Dot Connector Magazine :wow: :wow: :wow:
She is not a member but is showing signs of awakening. I gave her the magazine and she started to read with interest.!.!.! She found the recipe section and said "Oh look, cool".
THANK YOU for providing this opportunity to my wife.
And BTW, the magazine is fantastic.!.!.!

Hi, I haven't received my copy as of yet. Has anyone else in Canada received theirs yet?

Hi DanielS. I received my copy over a week ago and I live fairly close to you, if I remember correctly.

I just received my free issue in the mail today and I wanted to say thank you. I am planning on subsctibing after my next payday on the 25th cause I don't want to ever miss an issue!

Just wanted to chime in and say thank you for the free issue of the Dot Connector. I was planning to order some extra copies to gift and put in my waiting room at work. Can put the extra copy out straight away, first thing Monday. Thanks again!

You bring up a very important point, I think. The magazine is designed so as to attract people who, at first, may not be interested in our work here. We've had quite a few readers write similar messages to yours, saying that, at last, they can share some of their interests in a "lighter" way. People attribute more normality to a printed magazine than to "crazy stuff on the Internet". It is funny, because the content is essentially the same in depth, it is just presented differently and made easier to digest.

So, now you have something you CAN show to people. Who knows? At first they may start saying "look, cool" at the recipes section, or the cartoon, whatever. But then, it may make them pay attention to one article, and another one, and another one. We can only try! :D

You can test the grounds, so to speak. For example, you can show the techie tip at somebody at work, and then leave them the magazine for a while. Perhaps they'll read something else.

I just checked my paypal account to read the details and have both my new address and old address on there.

I hope it wasn't sent to my old one. I just deleted it from my account just in case.

Can anyone confirm which address it was was sent to? Here's my Transaction ID: 780912703F408163P

Thanks!

I just sent you a PM with the address it was sent to. Please let us know if there is a problem with it. It is weird that it's taking this long to get there...

Thanks!

True, with so much garbage on the internet, people assume that everything else of alternate thoughts on the internet is more of the same garbage...

Hi Lindenlea. Those are indeed the correct books, and contain virtually all same material as the North American editions. However, the North American editions of volumes 2 and 3 contain several edits and small additions of material which will be included in future Australian editions. The updated Wave 2 should be available in a couple months. Wave 3, some time after that.

Good one. Thank you for the follow up.

I'll second that! :)

Thank You for this very generous gift. I'm still in the process of reading through it all, but I'm finding it amazing reading all of this cool and useful information in a single magazine. I will definately be sharing this with friends and family. I may even get a years subscription for some people as Christmas gifts this year. What better way of putting the Paleo"Christ"ian back in Christmas! ;D

I will be subscribing to the Dot Connector after my first paycheck in September. My financial situation has changed in a small way for the better starting this month, so I want to make sure I put my money to good use.

Thanks again!

On the cover of the mag I received is a picture of an oil rig and a light house. The colors are orange and black.

Edit: The US

The Dot Connector cover is the same for everyone. I think that Lindenlea was replying to A.I. about The Wave covers. :)

Silly me. :-[

Recieved my copy this weekend, thanks to all who worked on this project! The magazine looks great all around, images, articles, and nice high quality. Kudos on the crossword and sudoku puzzles, too!

Leaving copies at the restaurant I work at....we have a bar but don't have a television (sweet), so reading material is in high demand.

:cool2:

Today I received 2 copies of DCM (my husband's and mine), thank you all who worked on the first issue, great edition.

Gave my husband's copy to the my cousin, student of medical school, because we had interesting talk about detox and gluten free diet, perfect timing got DCM with great text about dark side of wheat.

Thanks once more.

Received a copy of it as well.

It is fantastic. Well laid out, looks good, articles are top notch!

Got it late last week, and a bunch of people cycled through here this weekend because of a local fair. Had it out on the kitchen table, and everyone who picked it up didn't put it down right away after browsing, but were starting to read it (they stopped out of politeness). A few asked to borrow it after I was done.

Great work and thank you all!
