I think what the ad is saying is that regardless of our differences and financial/social statuses, when a giant wave of water comes crashing towards us, we're all equally screwed. However, based on what the C's have said about the "realm border crossing wave", that one will affect people on an individual basis and not equally, depending on who you are and what you see. So we'd be different before the wave, and different after the wave. :)
well said!

Well frankly I'm surprised you weren't arrested for taking a photo in a public place.
indeed, well, where i live the fascist state hasn't yet taken the face of cops messing with people for taking pictures in a mall... though, had it happened, i wouldn't have been surprised.

As for the sign, I see what you're getting at, except to suggest we are all equal "before a wave" is a bit of a long shot, don't you think? Knowledge is what protects. Since so many people on this earth have no true knowledge, they are hardly what you'd call "equal" to those with true knowledge, at least the way I see it. Perhaps you could explain to me what I have missed.
i don't think you missed anything! you make a very good point. i wasn't interpreting any sort of heavy/literal meaning from the sign, which is why i posted the picture in "tickle me" :)
however, in checking out/perusing any
possible meaning from this kind of synchronicity (which is fun, 'cause it gets the wheels turning), i suppose it could be taken a few different ways...
1.) perhaps a sort of cosmic cointelpro mini-op to persuade me to obsess about sychronicities, or 2.) a subtle reference to self-importance and prescribing "value" to ones level of awareness (i.e. "equal" or "unequal" as value judgments instead of objective analysis), or 3.) a general idea like "tick-tock, the wave is coming..." or 4.) i saw a sign with the word "wave" on it and went fumbling for my camera like a tourist... i'd "like to think" i'm not that reactionary but it's entirely possible i was just being a geek in that moment... :)
i find it helpful, when thinking in this manner, to replace the word "or" with the word "and" - in that way, all those things listed are possibilities and i'm not dogmatically resting on any conclusions or beginning to think i'm receiving messages from retail clothing outlet window displays... in the end, so to speak, it's merely a fun correlation, a sort of matrix-bleed-through connection with my current experience, and the outcome of any interpretation rests with the choices of the observer, osit...
